  1. Well, Hooray for this! Thanks for posting!
  2. I'm more interested here, today, in Sam, and you aren't. You're all about Carly. And, to me, the Julian Jerome connection does pertain. Also, consistently, all along, to me, Sam has made little to no sense. Even Dante told her if she continued to take this hard line with Danny, he was just going to rebel more, harder, more effectively. The only time Sam made sense IMO was when she acknowledged her own thrill-seeking days. But, instead of that creating some empathy in her about her child's point of view, she seemed to think there was something genetic in Jason that had been passed down to Danny, which couldn't be further from the truth. You seem to think that it was a crazy thing for Sam to seek out Carly in this regard. I happen to agree. Jason has been very clear with Sam. He agreed totally with her that Danny should have boundaries. He also let her know that if Danny came to him without permission that he, Jason, would bring Danny back home. And, he has done so, once so far. He did also indicate to her that he wanted to be able to see Danny & he appreciated that Danny wants that, too. And, he apologized about his first contact with Danny & asking Danny not to tell her & knowing that had been wrong. As far as I can tell the reason Sam went to Carly is she is not satisfied with Danny potentially having any contact with Jason. And, that's a problem. The bomb was meant for Julian Jerome. And, I cannot think of any reason why either one of them would want to be friends with the other. I brought up being enemies. I did not say a thing about the converse of that. Needlessly making enemies, to me, is a bad thing. Carly's right about one thing. Sam knew who Jason was when she got pregnant with his child. Now, she sees things differently. But, she doesn't get to undo what was done. Jason is Danny's father.
  3. Thanks for noticing & saying so. I was pleased, both that he did reply & with what he said. Of course, I am disappointed, too, but if there's a policy, that is just the way the system works.
  4. If she wants to make a lifelong enemy out of Carly, sure, that sounds like a capital idea. If we break down who was involved in Morgan's death that should be right up Sam's alley. The bomb, after all, was meant for her daddy.
  5. #NATAS #theemmysorg #DaytimeEmmys #BeverleeMcKinsey Today I have received an email reply from the President & CEO of NATAS. That is the Daytime Emmys organization. Adam Sharp apologized for not replying sooner & cited their busy season. As we know the Daytime Emmy presentation was just the other day. He acknowledged that Beverlee McKinsey's contributions to our industry were indeed vast. As it turns out NATAS has a policy against awarding Posthumous Emmys. He ended by saying Thank you nonetheless for your efforts to shine a light on Beverlee's career & for your celebration of the soap community more broadly.

  8. So, Sam has more nerve than anyone most of us have ever known! The sheer audacity of her & what she said to Carly! I confess that I am a fan of the Davis women, but today Sam was way out of line. She has been this way about Danny ever since she caught him climbing out. Isn't it interesting that at this point in the game, John Jagger Schmidt Cates has now shown himself to be - how shall I say this - STUPID?!!! He talks to Jason & alleges some incredibly unbelievable things about Anna & Brennan. Jason goes directly TO ANNA & tells her every single thing John said NOT TO! I kinda LOVE IT. The dialog today was to die for. Carly & Sam ended up screaming at each other. And, Jagger speak, plus Jason & his rapport with Anna, golly gee, what a day on GH !!!
  9. Thanks very much. I'm just glad that YT now has some valid competition. And, also glad that I knew an ATWT/GL video uploader who moved, he says, 2000 clips off of YouTube & onto Rumble. I have a vivid recollection of this & of what it was held out that it was, historically.
  10. We can't overlook the possibility of Morgan appearing in a dream. BC could be taping today & him NOT be who Frank was teasing. They would have no qualms about lying to anyone.
  11. Recently I found a bunch of DVDs of AW, ATWT & GL, all from 1989. I processed the AW episodes first & I came out with 20 consecutive days! From July 28, 1989 through Aug. 24, 1989! I sent my list to Eddie Drueding & was able to fill 6 episodes that he had missing. Oh, BTW, YouTube canceled my account, yes, they did it again! This time they said I violated their rules on spam & scams & deceptive practices! Crazy. Ridiculous. Of course, I appealed. Denied. So, I have moved on. Never again! Fortunately I had learned from another fan of ATWT & GL that there is a really good competitor to YouTube. He had moved 2000 videos from YouTube to Rumble.com Supposedly they do not play the games that YouTube does & they do not accept any challenge from any poster if they do not have standing to make that challenge. We shall see. Wish me luck! I now have uploaded 11 AW compilation videos, the ones we made as a fundraiser for the Central Park bench. And, I have also uploaded those 20 consecutive days, July/Aug. 1989. And more. Almost all of my stunt reveal clips I have learned something that may be of use to some of you. If you get an episode which is out of synch audio to video, you can watch it in the VLC player & it will correctly synch it but you cannot use it to save a corrected version. It is only a player. To correct it, using your video edit software, requires more work.
  12. In 1981 Doug & Julie were about to marry for the second time. Brenda Benet, playing Lee Dumonde, says they can't because Doug is married to her. She & Doug have this huge fight. He says she was lying the entire time. Here is a clip. https://rumble.com/v52b9qd-days-of-our-lives-1981-doug-and-julies-2nd-wedding.html
  13. I'm glad to hear that. I do not know her work. I will definitely keep an open mind.
  14. And, we come full circle here as fans because it was you who first alerted me to this scene & now, of course, it is one of my very most favorite scenes both of Marlena and of Abe. Alina Adams has just posted that she just did an interview with James Reynolds, about a new book that I believe is about favorite scenes in soaps, and she asked for scenes we recall with James Reynolds in them & I offered up this. (Said she did one with Wally, too. I'm trying to think.)
  15. I think they should have. But, it's not like they asked me.
  16. This clip tells the tale. Deidre Hall deserved an Emmy for this. She has found that she loves 2 men but she cannot & she vents to the only person she can, Abe, and she resents the fact that he CAN love both of them. https://rumble.com/v52at5z-days-of-our-lives-12-5-91-marlena-and-abe-she-loves-two-men.html
  17. Pamela Toll is playing Liz here in THE DOCTORS. She would go on to play Pammy Davis on both AW & on SOMERSET, Rachel's other half-sister. They shared Gerald Davis as a father. In this episode she just caught my eye. And, she is an excellent crier. I found this episode near Christmas to be loaded with pathos.
  18. I just tried to watch an LGBTQ+ movie, period piece, England, the 40s, TELL IT TO THE BEES. Do not watch! It has a rape scene, yes, rape the lesbian to punish her, AWFUL. Turned it off. Two women hold her down while one man does the deed. I re-watched CAROL. It was just as great the second time as the first. Cate Blanchette, Rooney Mara, the guy from FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS & in a way the city of New York in the 40s is a character, too. I re-watched ELENA UNDONE & it was fabulous. This was about the 5th time I've watched it. So beautiful, sexy, having the longest kiss. I am now in the process of re-watching FELLOW TRAVELERS, a gay story, limited series on Showtime, also historically accurate, with Matt Bomer. It also is very very good. I just finished watching the Star Trek franchise PICARD.
  19. Hello! It is still PRIDE! Here is a quote for the day, “Love him. Love him, and let him love you. Do you think anything else under heaven really matters?” - James Baldwin
  20. Oh. Okay, I get it now. Sometimes humor in text goes right over my head. Makes a whooshing sound as it flies by. I think, I'm not quite sure, that you make a good point here,

  22. You & me, we always manage. Here we are. Agree to disagree. And, back to the show. Do you agree with me that it was ludicrous to write that a healthy teen forgot his phone?!!! And, I hope Theresa manages at some point to take a shower.
  23. Maybe I misunderstood but I thought Brady first was talking about Jude & then went on to Nicole. If he did not, shame on him.
