Well, I think it illustrates that there's going to be a whole lotta soapy angst concerning Baby let's call it Baby Davis/Ashford. "DA" for short. I think it is too early to say what will happen. There's plenty of time between now & then. But, things have begun to happen, it's true. 1. Sonny's questionably appropriate gift. 2. Ali just said to Kristina, "Sometimes I wish this baby were ours." 3. Molly admitted her worst fear to TJ, that being that Kristina would back out of their deal & keep said baby.

I laugh at your bringing up Kraft Services!!! But god only knows it was not intended to be the big thing it's been made to be, and so out of time. The original post is back in early May & we are now mid-June. It was a mini-rant about D&C quite a long time ago but you'd think it was trending if SON had trending. At any rate, to your specific question. Kraft Services? I don't know but somehow I doubt it. All the rest, yes, yes, yes, and more. As the story goes, just back from a long strike that wore people down, without any good ideas, they did something unusual & went to the studio & talked to lots of different people, in different departments, it's actually not a bad idea, to mine the imaginations of others who have been there & not been out on the picket lines.Maybe this will put this now to rest.

Didn't say they were discussions with members of the writing team. Obviously those would go on all the time! I was making a criticism of them not having ideas at a particular time, not always, but the basis of the criticism was being lacking in imagination, creative impulse, etc. And, I certainly don't bombard with information. Actually I think I only bring up tidbits, and not all the time either, just on occasion. I've also been clear that if people are not interested, fine, just scroll on by.

Trina is the only person where Joss makes an attempt to put her first.

I entirely disagree about this. When this group was Joss, Trina & Cam basically, they were all developed, quite well if you ask me, as bosom buddies. High school friends, sure, about to face the challenges of college & potential separation. Spencer & Esme were added but the core 3 remained close. Think back to then. Did you think then that the only reason they were friends was somehow there wasn't anyone else for them to be friends with?

Pete Lemay specifically talked about Jill Farren Phelps as an EP. He sat in on the meeting when she pitched Felicia & John's affair to Anna Holbrook, Linda Dano & David Forsyth. He was quite impressed with her ability to sell them on her idea. Later in the interview the WLS guy told him about Frankie's murder & he was appalled. He basically said he'd have never killed a character like that & gave the example of Walter Curtin dying due to a car crash as something they would have, and did do. Having a discussion about that on twiX I got called a racist & somehow the way my mother raised me was brought into it. My pov was that it was an example of perfect best friend communication & their pov was that whoever wrote it was racist. That was the first time that an ex-BDW who was fired riled up some Trina fans.

What happened was this. P&G had been after Pete Lemay to sign a new contract with them. Everything was going forward in development to do the gay storyline. The actor was hired & was, as you say, fully informed. So, Pete signed their contract & then, they pulled the plug on the story. It was a corporate dirty trick. And Pete Lemay was still bitter about this one thing, near the end of his life.

NOT that I am trying to gatekeep your posting!! Me, today, Jason mentioned texting Carly back. This is news. Jason Morgan never used to do anything like text someone!!! Jason texted! And, in the same day, TJ found enough of an opinion & the energy to put behind it, to actually pick a fight with Molly! This was a very soapy day! Sonny took a stuffed animal to Kristina, for the baby, that echoed a toy he gave her when she was a baby & he apologized for his behavior, although then he turned around & justified it but then Sonny, little man, can hardly manage any apology!! Molly admitted her worst fears to her significant other. Ali said out loud that sometimes she wishes the baby were theirs! A whole lot happened today, possibly untidy but very soapy!

I think they're just setting up Gio and Joss to be good friends. He is charming everything that moves & she is just filling in the new kid.
