  1. That's what I think, happens. She makes the dive. She finds the gun. Something, unknown what, happens to her as a direct result of the dive. Whatdya think? Maybe?
  2. If she recovers the gun & it proves Alexis & Kristina both innocent, then, Sam dies a hero & dying a hero is nothing to laugh at.
  3. Please tell me you are not talking about Aubrey Dollar?!
  4. I would put nothing past that man. He, to me, was the real honest final death knell. Of course, he had the help of his trusty "helper" Ellen Weston, known for only writing once for one show, and not again, not ever. I talked to a soap journo who interviewed her & they said she didn't even know how to talk like she wrote the show. Secretly, they were appalled.
  5. Well, hooray! I just got my 2 new Soap Opera Digest special issues! So far I have run as fast as I could through the pages of the "50 Greatest Couples"! I'm excited. A guy I used to know, and liked, Mark McGarry is the co-Editor, now isn't that special?! Yes, it is. This thing has so many pictures!!! There are some things I disagree with. Not a surprise, though. Do you have this mag?
  6. I thought that was something that he "appropriated" from OLTL. But, you could be right. It might've related to The French Quarter & practitioners of Santieri, or even voodoo.
  7. Right, it was news to me, too!
  8. I thought Rosalind Carter. But maybe she spells it Rosalynn.
  9. I, too, came late to GL. But when I found her, OMG, it for me was like ANOTHER WORLD all over. Frankly, it was probably dumb luck that I found her, at all. But, I remain steadfast in my love, respect & adoration of (most) all things Springfield-ish. No idea why it took me so long to get there but when I did I came on like gangbusters. I've been crying, of course. 15 years seems both a very long time but also like just the other day. I did a rewatch of the last 3 days. It's bittersweet.
  10. Do we have ratings for these two special primetime events? NBC/DAYS "One Stormy Night" and the "Soap Opera Awards". This is from an episode Jan. 1992. Found at my usual video hosting site. https://R***.com/account/content?type=all&q=Stormy+Night Two promos for two soap events. First week, Jan. 1992.
  11. Didn't we talk about this recently? 13 BOURBON ST. was a soap pilot with Michael Malone & Josh Griffith, 1997. FOX made an initial commitment for 65 episodes to air on weeknights at 11 pm. It was set in NOLA with a lead female character Marigold Katrina Jorgensohn, a singer wannabe from a small town in Indiana who had come to NOLA. John Beck, Lonette McKee, Michael Park, Henry Simmons & Nicole Forrester had been cast by Meg Simon along with a handful of others. Linda Gottlieb was EP with Michael Malone & Josh Griffith as co-HWs & co-Creators. Paul B. Margolis was an Associate HW. On the strength of the FOX commitment, a pilot was shot. All of Michael Malone's papers including this script are said to be at Duke University, Raleigh, NC.
  12. It's International Book Week. The rules: Grab the closest book to you, turn to page 52, post the 5th sentence as your status. Don't mention the title. Copy the rules as part of your status. "I took a drink, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand, repeating the gesture that was made a hundred times by my father, eyes half closed as the sharpness of the alcohol replaced the sharpness of grief." - Nicole Krauss
  13. Honest, I get it that James Read is an excellent actor but, gee whiz, Clyde is such a worthless character - and always has been!
  14. TRUE. FACT. But, does she have a high probability factor of getting work elsewhere at this time?
  15. That whole storyline was her baby. Revisiting the original rape using her own rape, Liz's rape & Audrey's rape ... Amazing to me that they let her run with it, but damned smart that they did. The other thing she wrote that blows me away is the best catfight ever, on Generations. Those women almost destroyed an apartment set.
  16. People are talking out their ears. There is not going to be an offer. They did that already & the lady declined. And, besides that, no one is saying a thing about this daytime queen not wearing any clothes, you know like that emperor. Just look. See. NLG hasn't said a peep. For this on social media, that is unheard of. And, furthermore, I think that some people have misunderstood about Frank & one Sam McCall. They say, you know them, the ubiquitous ones, that GH, in fact, literally had no choice. There comes a time in the affairs of men, you have to fish or cut bait.
  17. Beyond the Gates is now my new refrain. 🎶🎵🎤[drop]
  18. Oh, boy, Mosley really kicking it as Maya. I must confess that watching her in that story was the only time, or almost, not counting Flannery, anyway, that I actually enjoyed B&B.
  19. I would hope that even without Jesus's help, or Soap Jesus's help, either one of 'em, that with just a smidge of self-control, we could avoid, evade, misplace, or otherwise do away with our non-favorite misogyny-writing, in joke referencing, possibly retired to a beach, former Llanview, Port Charles & Salem resident writer, now & forever more.
  20. 1. Bill Bell Sr. & 2. Pat Falken Smith & in this particular case 1 + 2 = at least 5!
  21. Oh, yeah, if we could get in some ALIEN alums, then, wheee!
  22. Tamara Tunie is fabulous news! Mosley is also very good to hear. Loved Tunie on ATWT & also primetime SVU. Mosley was quite good on GL & then I tuned in to see her play Maya on B&B Now are we going to go with "BTG"?
