  1. Abby?! If it's her... oh dear.
  2. At the brief shot of Sarah on that island I'm now sure it's going to be the Melaswen island since it looks like she's on a set that's dilapidated. Should've known it since Roman mentioned it all those months ago.
  3. I didn't realise that John meeting Kristen was similar how he met Marlena lol.
  4. I've finally passed episode 800 and first of all: - They're really messing up this whole time travel theory thing - Barnabas wants the Collins family history book that Victoria brought with her to 1796, but since Eve went back in time in 1968 to retrieve it, it shouldn't be there, right? Only in Dark Shadows logic, since Eve went back for the book in 1968 that hasn't happened yet, but theoretically it surely has since she went back to 1796 to get it? This hurts my nerd brain very very much. The worst part is that we already knew that the Collinses had put down that Quentin travelled abroad so it was a pretty pointless exercise. - Slaughtered unicorns has to be the most random thing ever. Love all the Kitchener references - I guess they couldn't say out loud that Petofi is gay af, so they just rounded the problem by referencing to an infamously gay officer.
  5. I think you need to remember that La Toya spent the half the eighties and half the 90s in an abusive "relation"ship with her manager... then seemingly spent the rest of the 90s hidden away in an apartment in Las Vegas. I don't think it's surprising she doesn't have much of a clue what went on with Janet in the 90s. I don't think La Toya's reaction about her divorce from René back then says a lot about their relationship today.
  6. On the other side, we'd have to sit through RW acting sad for months on end...
  7. Hope is the one who would make the most sense if they don't want to recast. Then again, it sounds from what he says that it'll happen on screen.
  8. Is it possible that they think uploading The Bold and the Beautiful to YouTube has been successful and is following suit?
  9. We should've known Ron would be sending a bunch of people to an island because of that Melaswen reference months ago.
  10. Sami or Hope on DAYS? Ron does love killing off characters off screen...
  11. Leo. He's been looking to be a kept man and Sonny and Will aren't biting.
  12. He was in seven episodes of Melrose Place playing Nick Diamond, Jack Parezi's lawyer. I can't say I remember him.
  13. Yeah, I mean, at least Promised Land makes Queens look good, but the producers should start talks about moving this to Hulu asap because it's not going to survive on ABC.
  14. Well, I liked it. The pilot was a lot of set-up though and they sent out the first two episodes to critics (episode 2 is also getting an early premiere on Hulu today), so I assume they feel a lot better about episode 2. Also, what is it with gay boys always siding with their villainous mother?
  15. Yup. I don't see the necessity for Johnny to be possessed to be honest to be a bastard.
  16. In general, shows were just put together more quickly so I'm not too surprised.
  17. I'm a month behind, but are all their scenes taking place at Basic Black because Chloe doesn't have a home?
  18. What I don't get with the dust buster they've put on Patricia Darbo's head is why they didn't just get a red wig at least? I get PD is in her 70s (!) and is probably rocking the grey irl, but there's no reason why Nancy shouldn't have her recognizeable red hair. Joan Collins had pretty good hairpieces on Dynasty, but as she's aged they've gotten progressively worse and more fake. Maybe it's because you know that a woman her age wouldn't have quite as thick hair as the wigs she puts on, but either way they don't look good.
  19. This is exactly it. A lot of people who end up looking messy are either trying too hard to look young or have OCD tendencies where they see *something* wrong and have to fix it (Joan Van Ark comes to mind here). The truth is, most people in Hollywood has had some sort of procedures done and are just lying about it. Would anyone have really guessed that Betty White had a blepharoplasty in 1976 if she hadn't admitted it?
  20. Cheatin' Heart... now that's a flashback! When was the last time it was seen? Late 90s?
  21. Was she though? Hancock's father didn't die until the early 90s. And she never became a supermodel either after having her face eaten by crocodiles. I thought the miniseries was great for the pure trashy value of it all. The following 22 episode series was a bit "everything and the kitchen sink"; it needed to calm down lol. With that said, it had one of the best soap cliffhangers of the 80s that I was sad to see they wrapped it up in a neat bow for international airings.
  22. Absolutely - I hope we don't suddenly get an aged Arianna appearing as it would age Will, Sonny and Gabi unnecessarily; I thought they were smart not to SORAS Shawn and Will as it would've taken years of story from Hope and Sami as young heroines, just like what happened with Julie and Laura in the early 70s. Julie especially ended up aged unnecessarily due to David Banning being SORAS'd (the character would've been in her mid-to-late-20s while also having a 18 year old son).
  23. Shawn at least wasn't too bad - he was born in 1987 and like Will "subtly" aged as the show went along, so it wasn't jarring. I think they reasonably could've built a "teen scene" around him and but they were hellbent on the "super couples" spawn being star-crossed lovers and it's as exciting as white bread...
