It's clear CBS made the right decision canceling ATWT when it had like 2.4 million in the end of its run. The Talk is a pleasure to watch. It's lighter then the View but all the ladies have great chemistry. The View is just awful it's painful to watch. Bring back Joy, Star Jones and Elisabeth Hasselback and Sherri Shepherd. I honestly think ABC should do two more seasons of the View which would bring it to season 20 and call it a day. 20 years is a very long run for television. Btw bring back Bill Geddie who was the creator of the show. Why put new exec producers in who are doing an awful job? They had to beg Barbara who is 85 and in retirement to do Friday episodes.

Soapsuds we agree on something. I totally agree I don't see any chemistry with this panel and it feels forced. Rosie Odonnell bombed this go around I think with no Hasselbeck she fizzles. Nicole is boring she's nice but she's just dull and Perez is just an idiot. I miss Joy and Sherri. Heck I would rather see Star Jones back at least she has the tie of being an original. I agree with the Talk they have much more chemistry and the show is more fun to watch.

Kelly Sullivan was the runner up for Phyllis and she didn't get it.

ABC is trying to make the show look younger. Focus groups hated the serious direction and the show felt and looked older.

God I didn't realize how much I missed Joy until she was on today she definitely lived up the panel. Although Joy has stated she will never come back as co host and 16 seasons was enough for her.

I thought Lauren Sanchez who had tried out for the view in 1999 and was the runner up to Lisa Ling would have been better then Rosie Perez. I feel that she is boring Perez.

Lisa Rinna would be a good choice as she tried out for Regis years ago.

Something we agree on lol. The Talk is much better than the View. The co hosts have a much better chemistry and the show is a fun guilty pleasure. The view is so drab and dull. This panel has no chemistry is the problem.

The chemistry is flat though. I do think Nicolle has improved but maybe a 5 th new co host is what the show needs

The Talk averaged 1.0/06 in women 25-54 and 0.7/05 in women 18-49 matching The View in both key women demographics. Among viewers, The Talk averaged 2.63 million, finishing in its closest competitive position to The View this season (vs. 2.80m). This is bad news for the View. I have never seen the talk so close in viewers. It's skews very old this season. The problem with this season is its lacking any real excitement. The show is boring and the Talk is more fun and there's a lot more chemistry. I miss the old View chemistry. Bring back Sherri and dump Rosie P and get a new young person in there.

Nicole I have a feeling will be replaced. She's very green and wooden and boring. There's no fireworks with this panel.

Let's see if they sustain word of mouth is terrible. I love Whoppi she's my favorite.

What this shows people is Hasselbeck brought out best in Rosie. I will say in 2007 it was great tv they were ratings gold. It shows not much how much we despised Hasselbeck she was a lightening rod and she was the biggest star the show had in its run. No Hasselbeck and Rosie is dull and Nicole is boring as hell. She smiles and bores badly I don't see her lasting.

I honestly think Whoppi didn't look happy with today and I adore her. I think it was a mistake to ditch Sherri when she was popular. Nicolle Wallace was so dull. Heck Hasselbeck never bored me sometimes I felt like slapping her but she was a much bigger star for the view then they expected. If Rosie doesn't work out they should bring Hasselbeck back for the lightening rod. Also I will say in their defense I remember Meredith, Joy, Star, Barbara and Debbie had jitters in their first shows.

The talk is a copy of the view. I think the shows chemistry is better then this current view. I hated the small table and big chairs. Let's see how the ratings pull. Elisabeth no matter what though brought the controversy and ratings.

I watched it and was disappointed. I thought Whoppi by far was the best. Thank god she stayed. Rosie was fine but I felt she was a bit off today. Rosie Perez was overbearing, annoying and tried way too hard. I felt Nicole Wallace seemed a bit timid and nervous. They didn't gel well. The tribute to Joan was great. I feel they could have found better co hosts for them. Honestly I think Hasselbeck was a much bigger star then anyone thought. She was the lightening rod and IMO Rosie's best tv was dueling with hasselbeck. It was ratings gold. She was a huge star for the view I didn't love her at the time but can't deny ever since she left the show has been dull.

Omg the elisabitch and Rosie feud. Damn elisabitch seems bitter and downright nasty. I will say the view was so dull last year that they want this kind of buzz.

Revenge is the best new show of the fall. This weeks episode was classic soap nirvana. I was glued to my freaking TV screen the entire time. Madelaine Stowe is a goddess and the best soap villianess since Joan Collins. She is such a bitch but there such vulnerability there. The stuff with Lydia was just classic soap and the scene with her and Victoria at the GALA OMG that was amazeballs. Revenge IMO is gold TV, ABC needs to promote it bigtime. Its just the best show on TV.
