I just meant because Drake and Wayne are very different actors at least from the clips that I’ve seen. Even with time between the two actors, it’s still a major role and love interest being recast. So I still stand by my question of I wonder how people in the 80’s felt when Drake took over as Roman. I defintely agree with Tomas and Derek being recast long before Ted.

Days actually has a hospital and police station. You get sick and get treatment off camera on Y&R. Chance solves his cases at Crimson lights. You also ignored there’s the Bistro, the newspaper, Titan, DiMera. Complaining about the Salem Inn when multiple people on Y&R regularly just used the same GCAC hotel rooms. But you have your opinion and I have mine. I’m going to agree to disagree and move on as you tend to get condescending when trying to prove a point.

That’s exactly it. Entire episodes are just two people sitting in a restaurant yammering on about CEO’s or getting coffee in the middle of the night at the always empty Crimson Lights. Where did I say anything that’s wrong?

Anita got over being sad and guilty like whiplash. I guess she just needed a Vernon pep talk. Yeah I’m sorry I don’t see the chemistry with nu-Ted and Nicole at all. When Maurice was in the role you could truly feel they loved each other so much and couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I just don’t see this meek at portrayal giving any sort of chemistry. Couldn’t have said it better myself. I wonder how people felt in the 80’s when Drake replaced Wayne as Roman.

The highest rated soap seemingly has the smallest budget. Days has more sets and movement than Y&R and they haven’t had a budget in YEARS. Also their business stories bother me significantly less than Y&R as they actually mention what their companies do from time to time and it doesn’t eat the show.

I’m still enjoying Leslie personally. It’s actually fascinating to see her so fear less about getting caught. I don’t even think she comprehends how Eva just saved her ass. Also her interactions with Kat and Jacob entertain me. She has great antagonistic chemistry with both of them. I agree on both accounts. 😂😂 I have zero connection or interest in the character now. He comes off as such a wimp to me.

Of course Donna somehow missed Laura Wright’s moles for 20 years.

I started trying to get back into the show to see Mishael’s return and it’s been challenging. Especially with Days, GH, and BTG all being so entertaining at the same time. Squeezing in something as boring and anti soap opera as current Y&R just isn’t a fun chore.

Off camera so we could be surprised today.

Loved the courtroom stuff. I despise Willow and Drew but love Ric, so it pained me to see him being so good at his job because I absolutely do NOT want Willow and Drew to get custody. I guess Nina changed her mind about betraying Sasha, yikes. I ignored pretty much everything else in the episode.

And you just KNOW she eats there since everyone in the damn town does.

Can’t believe we’re not getting Sami at all for John’s passing. That’s wild to me. We couldn’t even get a Sami video call? I know Sami was needed for the rape story, but I’d prefer her here for John’s death over the rape stuff. She still never even explained why or how she fell in love with her rapist when she was in Salem. So Bo doesn’t know his daughter married a serial killer. You could really feel Paul’s grief today. Bo finding out about Victor and that wave of grief hitting him was so real. And then to find out about Doug right after. PR was great. This is already a better Bo/Hope story than whatever the hell RC wrote. I say it every day it seems but Deidre again is pitch perfect. Hope being so excited to hear about John only to hear he didn’t make it 😭 Bo is going to be destroyed.

I think it’s high time we get Shanice out of just being at the hospital.
