  1. We found out who the head of Pikeman is and now he's been arrested. There's more to do? LOL
  2. Just two episodes back and it looks like Chris and Dan are moving quick on things: ending Pikeman, and Esme is finally starting to remember her past. I like both of these developments.
  3. Every artist/entertainment entity, big or small, have obsessed fans. We just see it more now because of social media. Before, they were writing letters, now they're using their phones. On the opposite end, I've met a lot of "Swifties" who are amazing people, and some of them are going to be life long friends.
  4. I knew when I saw this thread was 9 pages long, there was going to be some nonsense. LOL Settle down guys. I've always liked Krista and enjoyed her in B&B. I do agree that at times she played Taylor too much like Steffy's sister. I would've liked to see Taylor do more than just be in a triangle where you knew she was going to lose.
  5. GH writers are back as of today’s episode.
  6. Y&R: Brent Boyd not listed in Monday's episode.

  9. You're right, there's always a chance of a celeb being not who they are in public. I'm just telling you from what I've seen, from following her closely, and seeing things that aren't reported by the media, I believe she's inherently a good person. And of course that's not to say she won't make mistakes or say something stupid in the future. I think it's fair for to be call out Ron with what he said.
  10. When I saw Finn "working hard" looking at those papers, my reaction was, "Are you kidding me??? Finn is going to save Eric??" What kind of a doctor is Finn exactly? LOL. I have no real opinion of Eric, but after what's happened with the showdown, and everything leading up to the party, Eric has to die....right? I really thought this was going to be John McCook's sendoff and having Eric's last scenes be with Stephanie in heaven. But I guess not? That's very disappointing.
  11. So you're saying if that award moment never happens, Taylor doesn't become the superstar that she is right now? To take away this women's success like that is pretty unfair. At that moment, in September 2009, she was already a big star in country music, winning a lot of awards. Yes, that incident did get more people, the general public, to notice her, but you need more than just going viral to sustain the amount of success, at super high level, for so long. She became one of the most successful musicians in history because of her talent; her work ethic; her discipline; having great family who supports her (a big reason why she has a good head on her shoulders and never went off the rails like many artists who had success at a young age); her strive to always wanting to improve; she listens to people and is always keen on getting advice from those who came before her; her ability to connect to people at such a deep level; her appreciation of her fans; the way she was able to cultivate an fanbase at the beginning of her career was masterful and she continues to find new ways to bring in new fans and to show appreciation to those fans old and new. I think this last point, and her work ethic, is what sets her apart from everyone else. I don't think there's any artists that appreciates and love their fans more than Taylor. And that's how she was able to hit a peak in year 17 of her career and at the old age (in music industry standards) of 33.

  13. Once again, you've greatly contributed to this thread. Looking forward to your same comments in a year or two.
  14. That's great if you don't like her music. I don't expect everyone to. People have different taste. But to call her a bitch? Come on man. And of course I'm going to respond to you calling Travis' mother fat and ugly. What the hell is that? What has she done to deserve that? You don't like Taylor's music? Fine. But there's no need to tear her down by calling her a name. You don't like Travis? Fine. But you don't need to tear his mother down by calling her names.
  15. September/October was crazy with her colliding with the NFL. She's not going to get that amount of scrutiny for a while.....unless the Chiefs make it to the Superbowl and she travels to the game after her concert in Japan. There might be a resurgence of her being in the spotlight for a day or two. In 2024, she's going on tour internationally and will be out of the US for the majority of the year. It won't be until the next new, non rerecord, album where the spotlight will be at a very high level. The romance with Kelce has been "approved" by the general audience and the fanbase, so that's not going to have a negative impact on her career. He was in his early 20's (obviously they were dumb comments, but people can mature and learn). You're in, what, your 40's/50's? And you're calling someone ugly and fat, while disapproving what he said? Okay. No self-awareness there at all, man.
  16. "It’s hard to see history when you’re in the middle of it, harder still to distinguish Swift’s impact on the culture from her celebrity, which emits so much light it can be blinding." - From the Time Magazine article. We have not seen this kind of year in decades, and probably never will again, and that is a big reason why Time Magazine chose her. In 20 years, she's going to have accomplished a lot more and broken more records. And to call her a bitch? What for? I've followed her career and life for a long time, and very closely. She is far from a bitch. Has she done things maybe she shouldn't have done? Sure. Everyone has. But inherently, she's good person. If you don't like her music, you don't have to be nasty about it.
  17. Taylor caps off her biggest year ever, and of the biggest in music history, with being chosen as Time Magazine's Person Of The Year. It's the first time someone has been chosen for "achievement in the arts"/doing their job as an entertainer and it wasn't for something else (like when Bono was chosen along with Bill and Melinda Gates in 2005 for their philanthropy). For me, this just adds to my reasoning that she's in the same category as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis and Madonna. 2023 solidified her with those music acts. Time Magazine agrees with me: "Swift’s accomplishments as an artist—culturally, critically, and commercially—are so legion that to recount them seems almost beside the point. As a pop star, she sits in rarefied company, alongside Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Madonna." The funny thing thing is, her tour isn't even half way done, and she still has two more re-records left. 2024 is going to be another huge year for Taylor and her fans. I'm going to be seeing her twice in Europe. I can't wait!
