I’ll keep an open mind I guess. If it’s Cane it wouldn’t make much sense though. Why would anyone wanna kill Cane? (I haven’t been an avid viewer so unless I’ve missed something I can’t see why anyone would care enough to kill Cane)

What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?

Yeah I don’t get why she wouldn’t be credited if she’s back. That seems odd. I hope it’s true though, because the show needs a change. Badddddd.

So Sharon decides not to go to France and stay behind to support Mariah, but now with Phyllis gloating about getting an invite I’m sure she’ll change her mind. Mariah’s secret is that she screwed that old man? I’m so confused about what’s going on here, and Mariah coming out and telling Tessa that she can’t know her secret is supposed to do what exactly? Is that supposed to put Tessa’s mind at ease? Lol…. I’m getting Cameron Kirsten vibes though. Did he do something to her without her consent and things went too far? These writers really can’t come up with something original if their life depended on it

I’d much rather Dumas turn out to be Tucker than Cane to be honest. It makes no sense to me why they’d make the mystery person Cane .. and a recast Cane to top it off? Who’s gonna care about this?

That’s right because I recall watching an episode recently and that kitchen wasn’t renovated so I guess it is new. so where is Nick living? He and Sharon aren’t official yet, I doubt he lives with her. Victoria and Cole are in the tack house with Victor and Nikki up at the main house so where does that leave Nick?

It was nice seeing Victorias house and I see it’s been remodelled. I’m sure this happened awhile ago but since I tuned out from the show for so long I am only noticing it now. Looks beautiful though! Also, Billy and Sally gross me out so much. I don’t know what it is I hate so much about them. They give me the ick. Definitely a mismatch. I don’t buy that these people would be attracted to eachother in real life much less have a relationship..

Also, isn’t there supposed to be a storyline with Mariah and Tessa? Mariah cheating or something (keeping some kind of secret) and they were only on screen 2 and 3 times this month. Like what? How am I supposed to care when I barely see them?

All the best people are at the bottom of the list. Lauren, Michael, Chloe, Traci, Ashley, Mariah, Sharon, Amanda, Devon. I’d rather see more of these people than anyone in the top 10.. (with the exception of Jack and Diane) because I am still enjoying their scenes.

Sooo Nick is inviting Sharon to France for this Dumas party thing. The same place they reconnected years ago during the Shick/Phick years. I wonder if it’s going to be on location? I’m going to assume not. I’m sure Y&R doesn’t have that kind of budget anymore.

Nikki’s outfits are fine. It’s supposed to be over the top. They aren’t all my favourites but they usually make sense.

Not saying I really wanna see it, I’m just saying it would make sense from a character-driven standpoint He seems to think his character pairs well with a fiery and feisty female even though he has nothing to offer other than being hot. With Sharon it makes sense because she can make up for the things he lacks and still somehow make the coupling of Nick and Sharon make sense. Sharon Case is absolutely the reason why Shick is what it is today .

I didn’t realize they had a say in storyline direction or that SC & JM were the reasons Nick and Sharon aren’t together, but anyhow. They definitely are not “young and flirty” anymore at 50+ years old. They both look fabulous, don’t get me wrong.. but it seems silly to continue writing for them as if they’re 30 years old still. I guess I can understand why a Nick Newman type would still be interested in dating young, but even still. Bring Faith back into the fold and maybe have Nick have an affair with one of Faiths friends (I know, scandalous) but at least it would give the writers a reason to develop the character of Faith more.

I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?

I don’t get what is so difficult for Nick and Sharon to define about their relationship. The obvious thing to do is to put them back together. There’s no obstacles for them anymore, they’re both seemingly on an island and yet JG refuses to reunite them. It’s time to put them back together and have them stay together. Bring back Faith, Noah and let them be the supporting characters for their children. The fact that the only third generation Newman on the canvas is Claire is pretty crazy. Where are all the other Newman kids? I’m pretty sure Victoria has more children too.

Billy Miller WAS Billy for me. I always thought he was the best Billy. It was the relationship with Victoria that made him unbearable. May be even worst than Phick for me honestly. &nbsp He and Elizabeth Hendrickson had insane chemistry. Blair/Chuck vibes from Gossip Girl. I was very into it!

They need to broaden their cast and create more stories outside the main family. I love a lot of things about the show but to me its giving B&B in its first season when the whole show centres around the Forrester’s and since rewatching from the beginning I’m so damn SICK of all the drama centring around Ridge/Caroline. I’ve always hated when soaps do that. 90s and early 2000s Days & Y&R were always good at juggling multiple stories so I HOPE BTG will start to do that too.

There’s absolutely nothing exciting happening storyline wise but I’m always happy to see the vets on my screen so I’ll take what I can get. It’s also just nice to see them all dressed up in the same room, it always gives classic Y&R vibes. The best part? No Phyllis.

Sickening. I am totally gonna watch from episode 1. I did not know I could stream this show from the beginning. Let’s go Y&R! Jump on board. We want classic episodes! I don’t even need them all right from the beginning.. I’m good with like 80s-2000s eras

Yawn. Another week of the Phyllis show. I guess I don’t have to watch this week too.

Imagine if Passions being canceled by NBC happened today. That show moving to DirecTV was ahead of its time and people simply weren’t going to care enough to subscribe back then. The supernatural stuff has made a comeback too with shows like Stranger Things. I think it could have had a chance on a streaming platform like Peacock if it happened today. I’m happy for Days and soap operas in general. It feels like there might be light at the end of the tunnel after all for the genre as a whole with shows like Beyond the Gates becoming so successful (First soap opera in almost 25 years like WHAT). I’m going to remain hopeful for what the future holds!

When I first started watching this show, I was concerned that the cast would remain small and only focus on the Dupree family and not expand to include more families and other characters. Now that I’m seeing Anita’s friends being cast and other characters, its giving me hope that as they establish things more the storylines will expand to include more and more stories

It’s sad that all these fabulous soap writers who truly understand the craft are dead/going to die soon. I wonder if there will ever be a resurgence of writers who can carry on their legacy one day.
