Kayla and Sarah both stated post accident that due to the stroke in her spine that the paralysis was likely permanent but steroids might restore some feeling in her legs. Walking seemed like it was off the table. So the serum is her only chance. And it can't make her less paralyzed so why not take it?

When Sarah saw Brady the deal was talk EJ into dropping the charges for the serum. Sarah and Xander did that so Brady assumed that Kristen was honouring the original deal. Victor didn't know Catharina survived. I think Mrs Konstantin, who vanished right after the supposed death, faked her daughter's death and her own to escape Kon. I hope Fiona returns one day and we get more information on her, Titus and Victor. That was sorely lacking in Ron's speed story telling

DAYS: A Day of DAYS 2024
On the plane home after my whirlwind trip to Los Angeles. I had a mostly positive experience. I arrived at the theatre just after 6am and instantly saw Cardboard Li in the foyer. I was thrilled that he was set up as a photo op. More on him later. Around 945 Brandon Barash came by to say hello. We were let in right around 10am. System was four tables and you lined in rows in the auditorium. I went right to Line 2 and as we were first there was no waiting. I met Paul and Linsey first and they were kind enough to sign a photo I brought and pose for photos. I got to put my arm around Paul so that happened. Next up were Josh and James. I found speaking to them surprisingly moving, maybe cause they are the age of my dad. Sal, Elia and Tina were all fabulous. Very happy to chat and really warm and friendly. Galen was a bit more reserved. Tina agrees with me that Melinda and EJ need to hook up. Went to group 4 line as it was the shortest. All the newbies. Cherie was divine. I told her how much I enjoy her as Gabi and it seemed to mean a lot to her. Next to her was Al who was also super, thrilled to be a part of it all especially after airing in only one episode. Colton was another really fun one to talk to. He remembered me chatting to him on Twitter about Charlotte Ross and told me to tag him again. Casey was much quieter and didn't get much from him. Kennedy was very shy and I think a bit overwhelmed. Raven and Ashley were much more chatty and looked amazing. Leo Howard was really engaging too, very likable and interested in my insane one day trek from Eastern Canada. After that we broke for lunch and the day players performed as we sat in the next line. On a bathroom break I ran into Julie Dove hanging out with Cardboard Li, so that was a photo I had to have. I think she was just there as a fan. She was pleased to hear how much I enjoyed the Li stuff. Then the disorganization kicked in. We waited almost 3 hours for group 3. People were on stage and cutting into lines for other groups without waiting their turns. They extended the signing and we lucked out, we thought, as our line was called right before the final cut off. Then we were told we were going to group 4 again. Not happy. Most of the line just gave up and left but four of us stuck around hoping for a change of heart by security. I pointed out as it was only 4 of us that we should be able to join the line we'd waited 3 hours for and they relented. We were frog marched by security on stage (where were they when people were line hopping?). Jackee had left by then and Brandon had to go rehearse but the rest were still being gracious and kind to the fans. Dan introduced himself with "Hello I'm Daniel" lol. I told him I'm a long time viewer since his Spartacus days. JP was next and he was happy to hear I enjoy his odd take on Philip. He said he's all about entertaining and he will take any reaction as long as he gets one. Lamon seemed worn out and didn't say much. Abigail was super pumped and her husband is from Montreal. Where my car currently is. I hope I can find it. Then Stephen and Susan. This is why I fought to stay in this line. I told him how much Steve and Kayla have meant to me and that he got me into this 40 year addiction. Susan was absolutely beautiful up close. All I could do was thank her for being such a treasure. Last up was Billy. I told him he must be exhausted and he was, but still made me do a selfie with him. I'm sure the Q&A and promo are posted so won't cover those. Funny to see Emily toss that hated wig. Very excited to see what's coming up. No complaints about anything in the preview! All in all a successful day. Yes it could have been better organized but for a free event it was great. I didn't even attempt table 1 because the Dee draw meant everyone surged there, but when I was leaving I saw Brandon Beemer and Rob leaving Starbucks. That's a wrap. Going to sleep very well tonight!

They only do 13 and 26 week contracts now. We got exactly the former for Fiona. Her first real episode was July 22nd. Fortunately JPL seems to be recurring only. Whenever I complain about Body and Soul I remember the dark days of last winter when Harris, Ava and Theresa were on four times a week.

Last Monday, Xander saw Kristen and she offered him the serum for Titan. At some point during the week, he decided to take the deal and all family members were notified, including Philip. Somehow he was already with Vivian or in contact with her and they cooked up that letter on the spot and Philip hightailed it to town. That's the sequence of events I think.

Today was excellent. Tate is now really working for me, but I much prefer him with Sophia. I feel like Holly needs an older bad boy to temper her annoying personality a bit. I have really liked the teens inclusion in the hit and run story. Brady and Fiona were so good today. Serena Scott Thomas sure got stuck with a loathsome character. Her body language today was spot on. She was alternating between self pity and self loathing. I am glad they gave these characters some time to talk out what went down. Loved Holly calling out Fabby on her most recent lie. Of course Chad will still buy whatever excuse she comes up with. I assume the marriage is not legal because she married under a false name and identity. Paul Telfer was MVP today. His face, his acting. He showed so much sorrow today, and how awful for her to have to face that he was right all along about his vile mother. And that the person he loves above all others was her latest victim in a lifetime of selfish behaviour. Say what you like about Xander's past, but he again acknowledged today that he is a creation of Fiona, and has been as awful as her. I can't believe they still had to talk EJ into letting Brady go.

I am so glad that, hypocrisy aside (um Xander, I love ya, but you did the same thing to Will), Xander admitted that he is also a felon, liar and reprobate. As long as he keeps acknowledging his awful past and his current failings, I'm good with him. He and Fiona were amazing today. I hope this is not the last we see of her. And we got a Titus mention! I like that he is still "Dad" to Xander, unlike Alex who immediately relegated poor Justin to his first name.

I listened again, I didn't hear it. He did say this is... then start the sentence again quickly, so maybe that is what you heard? I agree about Fiona. I am annoyed that Ron trashed yet another mother character (see Diana, Angelica) because of his own apparent issues. We never got any back story on her, why and how she slept with Victor, why Victor 'let' Titus die, the real truth about her abandoning of Xander. We got maybe two episodes of Xander 'dealing' with finding out he was Victor's son (and not a single scene of him talking to Sarah about it because we had to rush into him pursuing Theresa) before we rushed into the car crash story. We could have had a few weeks of him asking Fiona the whys of how the affair happened and her explaining her past to him and the audience, instead of Sarah fake remembering for a week and a half. When Serena Scott Thomas joined the show she had an interview discussing an entire history of Fiona as a girl who grew up in a big house in Scotland with an alcoholic father and an enabling mother, who ran away at 18 to Europe where she was used and abused by older men. Where was this information on screen? Did the actress create this herself to try to flesh out her character since Ron couldn't be bothered? If this is how they end her character I will be very sad. I have waited for Xander to get a mother for 5 years, and I didn't expect her to be gone in 3 months. Since they introduced that she spent years in a mental institution, have her committed to Bayview for a bit and we can find out she had a psychotic break after the hit and run. Just don't have her room with Connie and Cardboard Li.

No. He said she's seeing Marlena so she can remember seeing your face behind the car that mowed her down. Maybe should have been wheel? I was more distracted by Fiona calling Brady Xander's cousin. We did for years but she's known all along he's his nephew. I liked Victor judging her silently

Ava drove Susan over a cliff with EJ in pursuit. Bonnie never left the shed. Xander had released Susan prior to that so forced nobody off the road. The only other accident in recent years was the Jude birth last year and Adrienne killed by Orpheus in 2019. Maybe the Greenes were on the road when Eric mowed down Daniel

Well, she is off the booze for now, which makes her decisions this week far worse. I hated the Victor reveal. After almost a year, we got almost zero Xander POV and it was all about Alex, AGAIN, when he got full episodes to whine about it when he 'found out' last year. They barely let Xander even get a reaction shot to Fiona revealing the news, because it was more important for Leo to shout out something stupid as Xander is processing this massive revelation. Then he got maybe one scene each with Maggie, Sarah and Fiona to 'deal' with it and got on with his life. I get stiff British upper lip but that was ridiculous, given his tormented past with Victor.

She really has. There is no point to her being in town. She either should have left with Harris or left with Tripp/Wendy. But the show seems intent on pairing her with Brady, given all their scenes off and on. At least she is age appropriate for him. And like Fiona, will not be intimidated by Kristen, so there is that.

You are on to something here, but she was around longer than a week. I know she was on set in December and everything in Xander and Sarah's apartment was filmed then, because it was demolished over the break and turned into Stephanie's apartment. The double wedding was filmed in early January, the car crash and hospital scenes in February, but I guess the scenes with Fiona in the flat babysitting were filmed December. The successful wedding was filmed a month before the aborted one, and aired a month after. I don't know how the actors keep this straight in their heads.

Maggie just said those three names yes. Back when the will passed probate. Xander's grandparents are Scottish. I think he said the kilt was inherited from his grandfather Callum Cook. When Titus died Fiona went back to Scotland with Xander and he grew up there. He said he was pretty young. Fiona strikes me as someone who ditched the regional accent and adopted a more acceptable posh one to social climb. Hopefully we get more background story. But probably just more Connie and Leo. Everyone loves that right?
