DEADLINE: Days of our Lives Misconduct Investigation Against Co-EP Albert Alarr
Oh I see I didn't need to post that tweet at all. The tweet showed the new picture and also linked to the website that has this photo. I don't know what was in the ig story back in February, but this is an actual spoiler pic. @Errol Judi Evans in the sparkly wardrobe and the sort-of-Bowie hairstyle Spoiler pic via soapoperaNews.net for episode #15657 (August 10) Source: https://www.soapoperanews.net/2023/08/days-of-our-lives-sneak-peek-pictures.html

[in reply to a comment about the twitter account] That is a reputable twitter account. I would not have posted the tweet otherwise.

DAYS Temp recast
LOL, so SOD says these scenes were filmed after the Christmas holiday break, and GV says these scenes were filmed "over three months ago". But from Jason47's notes of the *average* tape-to-airtime, we know this was filmed approximately in February. Plus February was when the information was first leaked.

Days: August 2023 Discussion Thread
Michael Fairman clarified on August 3rd: "According to reps at Days of our Lives, Gerhardt will play Eric for five episodes which will stream on Peacock over the next three weeks in August." https://michaelfairmantv.com/jason-gerhardt-steps-in-for-greg-vaughan-on-days-of-our-lives/2023/08/03/ I think I can post that here since it's not a spoiler in that Gerhardt began airing today.

2023 Writers + Actors Strike Thread
Short answer: I don't know. Long answer: Former Days headwriter Sheri Anderson is on that fi-core list. The list says she took ficore status in 2023, which caused some assumptions. But that doesn't necessarily mean she is doing headwriting for Days as many assumed. She could be doing other writing tasks at Days, or even working on other writing tasks elsewhere. Deadline published an indepth report on July 25 about the Sony investigation into the horrific abuse by producer-director Alarr (bullying and sexual abuse against cast/crew/staff) and Deadline published a few more reports since, and he was finally fired on August 4. In those reports, there *seemed* to be a implication that Alarr was doing a lot of headwriter-type duties until he was fired two days ago. He had inserted himself into control of cast/crew/staff and even public relations. He may or may not have been (sort of) the "acting headwriter" but he had taken over everything. From Deadline on July 25: "Meanwhile, Alarr continues as co-executive producer and director. Overall, his presence on the set has been scaled back over the past couple of months, sources said, though it is unclear whether it is due to the investigation; the writers strike, which has shifted some of Alarr’s attention to keeping scripts being generated after a number of WGA members walked off; or some other reason. (Daytime dramas continue to produce scripts during a writers strike using fi-core WGA writers or temporary non-union writers, with some series producers also known to pitch in.)" Furthermore, fi-core writers are uncredited on some shows, so whatever ficore writers are working at Days as a headwriter, story consultant, associate headwriter, breakdown writer, dialogue writer, script editor, continuity coordinator, etc, they *maybe* might be uncredited when their Days episodes eventually air. So we might not learn who they were unless it's revealed in some other way.

DEADLINE: Days of our Lives Misconduct Investigation Against Co-EP Albert Alarr
____________________ RavenWhitney replied with a clarification and a list a link for WGA-east On this post https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/65042-deadline-days-of-our-lives-misconduct-investigation-against-co-ep-albert-alarr/?do=findComment&comment=1865701 Too big for me to quote. And yes thank you, @RavenWhitney . I had missed that list until today! The datestamp of the sourcecode of the WGA-E's fi-core page looks like it was updated (or at least edited) June 19, 2023. WGAW (WGA-West) fi-core list: (last update July 26, 2023) https://www.wga.org/members/membership-information/wgaw-financial-core-list Going back to the original conversation - Sonja Alarr is *NOT* on either the East or West list, so presumably she is striking? Since she's not on the ficore list, she could have been writing credited scripts up until the strike began. But thankfully she won't be on set anymore.

@Liberty City update to our earlier convo on this thread. I found some names I had missed. WGAW (WGA-West) fi-core list: (list updated July 26, 2023) https://www.wga.org/members/membership-information/wgaw-financial-core-list WGAE (WGA-East) fi-core list (updated as of June 19, 2023) https://www.wgaeast.org/enforcement/wgae-financial-core-list

2023 Writers + Actors Strike Thread
UPDATE - the WGA-East finally listed their members who went fi-core. They updated their site June 19, 2023, but I had missed it. They don't give dates of when each person chose fi-core status. They just give everyone who is. https://www.wgaeast.org/enforcement/wgae-financial-core-list/ Both the West and East lists say "fi-core is forever" at the top of their lists.

You just quoted where it says that! it says WGAW - that's WGA-West. I know the list is on the main WGA site, but the list itself is WGAW. Also the URL of the list contains "wgaw" https://www.wga.org/members/membership-information/wgaw-financial-core-list

DEADLINE: Days of our Lives Misconduct Investigation Against Co-EP Albert Alarr
*WGA-West* listed any/all of their writers who have gone fi-core - if you look closely at their page it says "WGAW" at the top of the ficore list on the current website. *WGA-East* supposedly doesn't normally reveal their writers who go fi-core. According to what Variety said in 2008, the only reason we know who from East went fi-core in 2007-2008 is that they were outed in a letter. That is my understanding - I detailed what I mean about that at this post on the strike thread: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/62620-2023-writers-actors-strike-thread/?do=findComment&comment=1865104 But I don't want to derail this "Alarr finally fired" discussion! Celebrating that he's gone!

DAYS Temp recast
https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/greg-vaughan-temporarily-recast-at-days2/ "unable to film to finish out the season before the show went on a holiday break at the end of 2022." The studio was dark three weeks in late February / early March, so maybe that's what was intended? https://jason47.com/days/productionschedule.html Also they had a typo because they said Greg Vaughan will temporarily be played by Jason Gerhardt. But they meant Eric Brady will be temp played by Gerhardt.

I don't know what (if anything) Judi said on IG. My understanding is that Judi posted a photo on her instagram stories in February -- and that photo matches what was described in the Deadline article. I don't have the photo. Jason47 believes it and Jason posted it on his facebook. Jason isn't known to post things unless he can verify it. I mean if she taped this in February then it should air in the next few weeks and we'll know for sure. DEADLINE: Days of our Lives Misconduct Investigation Against Co-EP Albert Alarr
Read this about HR https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/65042-deadline-days-of-our-lives-misconduct-investigation-against-co-ep-albert-alarr/?do=findComment&comment=1865420 Alarr: co-executive Producer, one of the directors, recently became coordinator of PR, and shamed anyone who complained, and well ... Did you read the articles? He dominated the situation. Nobody felt able to speak. FINALLY Sony investigated a few months ago but all they did was give Alarr an order to take a sensitivity training class and they didn't fire him. So the cast and crew spoke anonymously with Deadline.

References to HR in the articles Quoting Deadline July 25 article: According to multiple sources, there is no HR infrastructure where the show tapes in Burbank; any such reps are at Sony TV in Culver City. When NBCUniversal owned the studio complex that houses DoOL at 3000 West Alameda Avenue (then known as NBC Studios), the production had an HR department, an insider said. That changed after the facility was bought by Worthe Real Estate Group in 2014 and renamed Burbank Studios. With no HR reps on set, any issues have had to go to the producers, with Alarr himself most likely to handle. Alarr, who was praised by actors for his overall directing skills and character development work, allegedly regularly mocked HR conduct standards. According to eyewitnesses, he would chuckle after making inappropriate or offensive remarks in front of cast and crew with a jokey comment about what would happen if HR ever knew about his behavior. If Alarr was called out for saying something that was inappropriate and hurt someone’s feelings, he would dismiss the criticism, insisting it was just a joke. https://deadline.com/2023/07/days-of-our-lives-misconduct-investigation-albert-alarr-1235417732/ ______________________________________ Quoting Deadline August 2nd article: Staffers also called out series distributor Sony Pictures Television for the lack of HR support on the Corday Prods. show, detailed in Deadline’s story last week, which has made Alarr the de-facto arbitrator of HR matters on set. A DoOL employee said they had gone without an HR meeting for about four years, with no mechanism to seek help when needed. https://deadline.com/2023/08/days-of-our-lives-cast-want-changes-albert-alarr-investigation-details-1235452020/

B&B August 2023 Discussion Thread
For a long time Krista Allen had this as her profile/description at the top of her twitter and instagram accounts: Currently on your TV as “Dr. Taylor Hamilton-Hayes Forrester Rashid Forrester Marone Jones, Princess of Morocco” 👑 Now her twitter profile says 2023 Daytime Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actress As (the world renowned) “Dr. Taylor Hayes” Bold and The Beautiful Supposedly this is Krista Allen's account on "Threads.net". https://www.threads.net/@kristaallenxo That *seems* to be her since it's the same username as Krista's ig account (and Threads/IG/facebook are all the same company) but I don't know how to verify whether someone on social media is who they say they are. The description/profile at the top of that Threads page doesn't mention her being an actress, so I don't know if it's really her. (There's a post on that Threads account from July 29 saying her twitter was hacked and she's in Mexico, but I am dubious.)

2023 Writers + Actors Strike Thread
yeah so many people are quoting either the 2008 letter listing both WGAE and WGAW, or the 2023 website list of WGAW only. But I don't think we know if anyone else in East was ficore *before* the 2007-2008 strike. and I don't think we know if anyone else in East became ficore *after* the 2007-2008 strike. _______________ Edit update a few days later: WGA-East website now has a list on its website, which I had missed. The WGA-E webiste includes the names already known from the 2008 article: Priscilla Kay Alden, James Harmon Brown, Michael Conforti, Victor Gialanella, Josh Griffith, Frances Myers and Pete T. Rich. Plus, they have added to the list since that 2008 article these additional names as fi-core: Jon Robin Baitz Mitchell Kriegman Daran Little Tyler Perry Josh Selig Garry Trudeau https://www.wgaeast.org/enforcement/wgae-financial-core-list/

That's the current WGAW list (WGA-West) of writers who have gone fi-core. Per their rules, once you are fi-core, "Fi-core is forever." ________ According to these 2008 articles, the WGA-East fi-core members were outed in a letter, but they said at the time that the East members were not listed on the website. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/wga-outs-fi-core-members-109825/ https://variety.com/2008/scene/markets-festivals/wga-reveals-fi-core-writers-1117984266/ I don't know if there are additional *East* members that were added before/after the 2007-2008 writers strike? ____ WGA-East fi-core in the 2008 article: The WGAE members included Priscilla Kay Alden, James Harmon Brown, Michael Conforti, Victor Gialanella, Josh Griffith, Frances Myers and Pete T. Rich. Edit- see correction in my next post.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
You made a good point about her having a PR staff. It's possible that she might not read the replies to to her social media. Some celebs pay their staff to do that. So although what SN said about them working on the script in February is likely true, it doesn't mean that she read what he said.
