  1. SOD said "multi-episode arc" but Michael Fairman and Daytime Confidential say the show told them it's for an "extended stay" ! And Errol confirms it too: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2023/08/michael-damian-the-young-and-the-restless-extended-stay And Lauralee confirms
  2. Yes I agree with that, in general. Although they do treat him with dignity in the episode. They also said in the Sept 4 eppy that he'd been shuffled around the VA hospital system but nobody knew what to do with him. Edit to add - he'd been shuffled around the VA system for years. (VA is "veterans administration" for anyone outside the USA unfamiliar with the term. It's the federal agency for military veterans. The agency administers many things, including a nationwide system of military hospitals/clinics)
  3. Ah, thank you, I stand corrected!
  4. I think you've got Mia and Melanie all mixed together in your post.
  5. Yes! so in *that* thread (DAYS August discussion) I suggested reading *this* spoiler thread for the reveal. I almost replied behind a spoiler tag in that thread, but there was so much to say, I decided to post it here instead. ETA no apology necessary, it's Monday morning!
  6. This thread is for the promo for the week of August 28th. But everything in this promo with Kayla, Marlena and DVD's character happens Friday Sept. 1st about DVD's character. What I've described happens the very next episode Monday Sept 4th, also about DVD's character. But you have a valid point. Just in case people want to be spoiled in increments and not all at once, I'll put my description behind a spoiler tag.
  7. DVD debuts Friday Sept 1st. On August 28, Peacock accidentally uploaded Monday September 4 and then took it down a couple hours later. This happens on Mon. September 4th -- continuing what happens in the promo about this character:
  8. No, the memorial service is several episodes later. Actually, for what happens Sept. 4th, there is good happy crying! Just look at this spoiler thread for more info: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/65156-days-promo-a-national-treasure
  9. It's not dementia. I saw the Sept 4 episode that Peacock accidentally posted on their site just before they removed it. It's memory loss due to head injuries. They say his cognitive function is fine.
  10. Monday September 4 episode is the one that was taken down. But if anyone has a recap, it kind of needs its own spoiler thread as quite a bit happens and it's for next month.
  11. soapoperanews.net posted about Arleen, then deleted their post and tweet. then reposted. Not sure if it's confirmed yet.
  12. Arleen Sorkin's passing has been reported by rumor sites but nobody reputable yet. I don't know if it's true or not. Soapoperanews.net posted it and then deleted it. EDIT - they later reposted it.
  13. DAYS parties for anniversaries are always just whoever happens to be on set that day. It has nothing to do with who is being honored. They don't organize a party. They just order balloons and a cake and then ask the actors in the building to come over to the balloons for a few minutes of speeches and cake. This happens all the time, no matter who the honoree is.
  14. The article you quoted didn't say Brian Robbins, the CEO of Paramount Pictures. The article says the Bells bought the home of Brian Roberts, the CEO of Comcast which owns NBCUniversal. https://www.mansionglobal.com/articles/couple-who-sold-malibu-mansion-to-beyonce-and-jay-z-pick-up-beverly-hills-pad-for-20-1-million-2ca8958d
  15. Try the unread content tab at the top of the page. Works the same way but better.
  16. Twitter embedding is having intermittent display issues on some devices. Here is the tweet link, for anyone who can't see the embedded tweet https://twitter.com/BandB_CBS/status/1690739987917291520
  17. Was this the Glo-by-Jabot house party?
  18. Oh I see I didn't need to post that tweet at all. The tweet showed the new picture and also linked to the website that has this photo. I don't know what was in the ig story back in February, but this is an actual spoiler pic. @Errol Judi Evans in the sparkly wardrobe and the sort-of-Bowie hairstyle Spoiler pic via soapoperaNews.net for episode #15657 (August 10) Source: https://www.soapoperanews.net/2023/08/days-of-our-lives-sneak-peek-pictures.html
  19. [in reply to a comment about the twitter account] That is a reputable twitter account. I would not have posted the tweet otherwise.
  20. Credit to @RavenWhitney who gave the WGA-E ficore link on another thread.
  21. Update: @Errol The photo has been tweeted: _ link to tweet _ (Edit - that's probably not the i.g. pic from February. This new pic is a spoiler pic.)
  22. LOL, so SOD says these scenes were filmed after the Christmas holiday break, and GV says these scenes were filmed "over three months ago". But from Jason47's notes of the *average* tape-to-airtime, we know this was filmed approximately in February. Plus February was when the information was first leaked.
  23. Michael Fairman clarified on August 3rd: "According to reps at Days of our Lives, Gerhardt will play Eric for five episodes which will stream on Peacock over the next three weeks in August." https://michaelfairmantv.com/jason-gerhardt-steps-in-for-greg-vaughan-on-days-of-our-lives/2023/08/03/ I think I can post that here since it's not a spoiler in that Gerhardt began airing today.
