  1. Can't I just borrow him 😂😂 What about this guy?
  2. 😂😂😂 Cute, but I’ll make you a deal lol you can have him but I get this one.
  3. Yeah. For some reason, YT did a massive purge a couple of weeks ago. munecojim and his amazing soap library didn't survive it.
  4. Hmm... it appears we have similar tastes lol Is he your type too? 😂😂
  5. Lmaoooooooo I'm still holding out hope that he'll send you an autographed photo one day
  6. Yes he is lol that's Joey Graceffa. He's a Youtube celebrity
  7. Sounds like it's gonna be a good week!
  8. I'm actually liking most of it. I guess it sounds a lot better than it looked though. The only storyline I'm not liking is the Kellam/Max stuff. Yeah, they want to control Anderson, but why? Was a reason ever established? I feel bad that Brenda Benet got such a bad wrap back then. I'm really liking Lee. Yes, trying to kill Julie was too much too soon but she actually seems like such an interesting character, similar to Linda almost. It also sounds like Laemmle was the one who humanized Neil.
  9. This is a good start. I really liked it. The Bill/Laura storyline sounds intriguing. It also sounds like you're going to give Mickey and Maggie something to do, which is a great idea because according to the synopses, it does sound like Harrower backburnered them. I also read the April 1979 synopsis that you posted, and I have to ask is Mary going to botch the government contract that Anderson has, or are you going to continue that storyline?
  10. Can’t wait to start reading this!
  11. They kind of established it in 1979. I remember in one of the 90 minute episodes that used to be posted on YouTube, there was a scene of Sally crying to herself in Alice’s house, asking why did Alice leave her? By 1984-85, I’m sure that was forgotten though. Tomlin even went on the record saying he didn’t study the history of the show enough.
  12. This is good news. What's even better is that its been like a year since those tweets that she and Ron posted, so Ron has had plenty of time to write a good, compelling storyline, I hope lol
  13. He had sort of a "Joaquin Phoenix in Joker" style at that time lol
  14. I found a playlist that managed to survive the purge. It has most of the 1980-1981 episodes that were posted.
  15. Mary Frances “Frankie” Frame Winthrop owns this thread
  16. I had a feeling he was your type and may I say Damn Damn Damn as well lol
  17. About a year. From September 81 to September 82
  18. Thanks for reposting the article @victoria foxton! It sounds like DAYS learned the hard way that you can't turn a daytime show into a primetime show. It fails miserably every time. And I hate that "We ran of story possibilities" excuse. Literally, every time that was used in order to justify writing a character out, that character's exit storyline was massive and could have played out for months. I know everyone was insisting on younger characters at that time, but IMO there was still plenty of story left for a lot of those characters particularly Bill, Laura and Linda. Ironically, the only character that ran of story possibilities was younger character Margo.
  19. This was also around the time that Wes Kenney left and Al Rabin came in as co-EP. It does seem like NBC was trying to expand their control over DAYS and give less control to Betty Corday. I can't help but wonder if she supported all of these changes or was against them. Reminds me of Daniel Jonas lol
  20. That happened with Alex too. On AW, Ryan's mother was his only sibling, then suddenly on Texas he had a younger brother, two nieces and another nephew
  21. I think you're right about King. There was a small clip of an episode of AW from July 1980 posted on YT and it said in the credits that all of the Texas scenes were written by the Corringtons, so he probably did have nothing to do with it. As for Striker, I remember in an episode of Texas that he said his name was John.
  22. It sounds like the Earl, the loan shark/the syndicate storylines were DAYS' first venture into "Copy GH mode" Clearly it was not a good fit for the show. AW had similar problems with its mob storylines at that time.
  23. I still find it hilarious that the writer who broke up Doug and Julie was SSH’s own mother.
