That was the year Corinne Jacker was head writer. The storylines were all over the place, characters came and went at a rapid pace, and worst of all was the firing of Beverly Penberthy and writing out Pat for one of the most ridiculous reasons I’ve ever seen

It sounds like Brian didn’t have much to do once he became Mayor. His brief fling with Donna and the whole Ted storyline in 83-84 seem to be the only big things that happened to him. I wish more of 1982 was available to see. I know it was a lousy year but I’d love to see more of it.

So I’m guessing that you weren’t a fan of Rachel in the 60s and early 70s and did not like the fact that she became the lead heroine of the show?

It’s not random at all. So many of those clips are just about Mac and Rachel, which are great, but I’d love to see more of the B and C stories from that time too

Most of those episodes have been posted before by munecojim and other YT channels, but some of them haven’t and it’s always great to see newly rediscovered episodes

I like his reunions but they do sometimes fall apart. What he needs to do is come up with a specific set of questions for each actor instead of just playing it by ear. And he does need to lay off on the questions about the quarantine and focus more on the soaps and the actor's careers before and after their time on them.

Yeah, it was AW’s fault that SB did poorly and nothing to do with the fact that SB was up against GH, and had a rocky start. I would have loved to have seen the looks on Frons’ and Susan Lee’s faces when they realized that their pet project was a flop and all their bs threats to AW were for nothing.

I was a little surprised after hearing that story about GF, especially considering that she was a recast herself. Wouldn't have expected her to get so upset so easily. And I loved that JY called out Brian Frons. But the funny part is that in Erika Slezak's interview with Michael Fairman, she said Frons wasn't responsible for the cancellations, but that it was the people above him that were.

Thanks for the info. I meant the episode itself. The ceremony, reception, Felicia revealing herself, and Ridge and Caroline making love all happened in the same episode. You would think that after nearly three years of waiting for Ridge and Caroline to be together, they would have taken their time and stretched their wedding out for a few episodes.

Well, NLG does have her own YouTube channel where she interviews soap stars. And I’m sure she could reach out to Alan Locher too.

Is it just me or did the Ridge and Caroline wedding episodes seem a little rushed?
