  1. Yikes! This is gonna give me nightmares tonight lol
  2. Well, he was one of my picks too 😂😂
  3. 😂 😂 which one then?
  4. He often said that was his goal with the Frame family; to represent a poor, ambitious family like his own on daytime TV. And that Pat and John reminded him of himself and his wife in some ways.
  5. The tall one in the middle of the second row or the one in the front row on the left?
  6. Hopefully, there's a little something for everybody in this 😂😂
  7. Yep. I’ve always wanted to experience that southern hospitality 😂
  8. In that case I think I need to add Nashville to the list of places that I want to visit 😂😂
  9. For anyone who's watching the AW reunion, the building that housed the AW studio is still standing. However, it's now a self storage facility.
  10. Yeah. A lot of his work is available on Kindle. I've thinking about maybe buying one of his plays from there too.
  11. Enjoy! Are we gonna have to share this one too?
  12. 😂😂 Hmmm... I'll take the front. Here's another guy for you if you're interested
  13. Can we share 😂😂
  14. I think it sounds great. I know some people don't like melodrama but I really do. The whole Donna having a psychotic break and kidnapping baby Scotty arc does kind of sound like something that Bill Bell would have written in the early 70s. Glad to see Mickey and Maggie be used. Ultimately, Maggie having an affair with Neil and getting pregnant does make a lot more sense than Maggie being a surrogate mother and then just deciding to keep the baby, or something like that.
  15. Interesting to hear that there were originally supposed to be other Dimera brothers (and a daughter too) besides Tony at this time. I wonder what would have happened had Pat Falken Smith stayed just a little bit longer.
  16. It really is a credit to everyone involved that the show was able to introduce three brand new characters in one episode and then go on to have all of them be popular with the audience. Especially considering that they tried something similar just two years earlier and it ended up being a disaster.
  17. It'll definitely be an interesting read, and to get his take on everything. According to Lemay, he didn't often learn his lines and relied on Beverlee McKinsey to get him through their scenes, and that was the reason why he was let go from AW. However, in his interview on We Love Soaps, Nic Coster says it was decision to leave the show, because Paul Rauch wouldn't allow him to have time off to appear in a play that he wanted to be in. It does make you wonder though. Maybe all those dramatic pauses he took in that scene where he destroyed Iris' portrait weren't for dramatic effect, and he was just trying to remember his lines.
  18. Haven't got that many predictions, but as of now I say Best Lead Actress: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Best Supporting Actor: Mike Manning Best Younger Performer: Lindsay Arnold or William Lipton
  19. I don't think he's a bad actor. My problem is he always plays Philip like a whiny little brat.
  20. GH Definitely can't see James Franco's Franco playing him like an insufferable clown the way that RH does. DOOL Can't see Kyle Brandt's Philip playing the scheming little villain like JKJ does. AW Can't see Beverlee McKinsey's Iris sleeping with younger men Michael and Evan the way Carmen Duncan's did. Especially considering that BM's Iris was mortified when Elena started sleeping with Dennis.
  21. Well, if he reads this thread, I hope these videos put a smile on his face.
  22. Do it! And since I was just listening to this, may I suggest this song as well 😂
  23. Yep. The sabotage was unbelievable. Half of the suits wanted AW gone, the other half wanted it to be a DOOL clone. Throw in Jill, who hates older women and has an obsession with turning soaps into primetime shows and it's a recipe for disaster. I was rewatching the show for a while. I got up to the whole Cody Mercer saga. Overall, I didn't necessarily hate 95-96, but it didn't feel like I was watching AW at all.
  24. Which is where my memories of AW begin. I was only 4 years old but I can still remember the lead up to Frankie's murder and then my Mom telling me to go in the other room and watch something else lol she probably knew it was gonna be violent and she didn't want me to see it. I'll still watch. It's always nice to see AW get remembered.
  25. Well, let's hope Jill doesn't make a surprise appearance. The Nick/Maggie/Sofia triangle is one of my clearest memories from that time
