Dude, chill lol. I've been out of the city all weekend and my NAS has run out of space because it seems that a lot of cache has taken up all the available space on it. Let me reset my NAS and hopefully that clears the cache. Thanks for being a wonderful customer! It brings me great joy that the investments I made in my NAS with my own hard earned money has made customers like you so happy. ❤️

I'm exhausted arguing about the Carter/Hope situation all day on the internet LOL. But I will say this. It's one thing to take responsibility for your actions, but it's a whole other thing to own them. Carter just wasn't willing to do the latter and Hope was. Sometimes I feel Brad Bell just writes to cater to the international popularity of B&B, where quite a few these countries are ones that don’t have progressive values where women are concerned, hence the two women fighting over a man mess we’ve had for years.

Brooke groveling to Ridge yesterday and today is just nauseating.

👏Hope 👏did 👏not 👏use 👏Carter. Hope and Carter were two vulnerable people who bonded over feeling under-appreciated at FC. Was it a good romantic foundation to get together? No. But Carter was in a position where he promised Hope the world and the end of her problems, and of course she would naturally look at him as her knight-in-shining-armour. They dithered about taking over FC for a few episodes and Carter finally went forward with it. Hope and Carter also constantly reminded each other that there was "no turning back". Guess what? The man turned back. And in the process, moronically threw the girl in the line of fire he was supposed to protect her from. Between this and the kiss (which, let's be clear, he reciprocated) Hope's misguided illusion of Carter was shattered. The girl had every right to dump his spineless ass, and it's certainly not because he's of no use to her anymore. What Hope feared the most ended up being a reality, only this time with the added consequences of her being even more of a pariah with the Forresters, and her mother losing her relationship (I mean whatever Brooke is better off without Ridge anyway lol). I only blame Hope for letting herself be swooned by Carter so easily. She conflated Carter's feelings of protection with "love". I don't think Hope is a victim in this and I don't believe their character's rhetoric of "we had no choice". They could've separated out of FC and built HFTF independently. I do however, believe she is getting the shortest end of the stick out of this situation. Steffy on the other hand continues to somehow pontificate, without interruption or intervention, on morality, ethics, and "tHe LoGaNs" - when she not too long ago has made some moral and ethical transgressions herself.

I'm thinking a week buffer unless of course I do it myself. There are some uploads that have strangely big file sizes and I usually like to evaluate whether or not I want it re-encoded to a smaller file size without a noticeable loss of quality to save space.

Vault Update for March 2025 Hello retro soap community! I thank you for your patience as @BoldRestless and I navigate on how to continue with the Vault going forward. Starting with bad news - due to changes with the registration process for Microsoft's Developer Program which is how I was able to host the Vault via OneDrive most recently, I am unable to continue hosting the Vault on OneDrive until further notice. That being said, I'm willing to continue sharing access to the Vault via my Network Attached Storage/NAS (my personal cloud, in laymans terms). You will still be able to view episodes and upload episodes, however the procedures will be slightly different going forward. Viewing Episodes Simply click on this link to view the episodes - bit.ly/4hkIsuE. Navigate to the folder, and on the video file, either right-click (for computer/laptop users) or long tap (for mobile users), and choose "Open in new Tab". If the video file still won't play after this, it may need to be downloaded and played using a different application, such as VLC. Uploading Episodes To contribute to the library of videos, please refer to the below upload links. Pros and Cons to this new method One big benefit of moving out of OneDrive to my NAS is that I no longer have to segregate the soaps in order to stay under the 5TB quota, and is totally dependent on how much personal storage I have left (as of today, about 4TB). I have the ability of being able to expand the storage, albeit I'm waiting until Black Friday until 16TB hard drives go on sale again haha. The new upload procedure also tightens control over how files are sorted and prevents accidental duplication of files, thus prematurely running out of storage space. You will also notice there is a name field for when you upload your files, so it helps the community to know who to thank every time a contribution is made. Some drawbacks of this new system is that because it is not being run out of Microsoft's servers and instead to my machine, it's dependent on 2 factors: 1) My personal internet connection 2) Whether or not my machine is on or off. I leave my NAS on all the time, but sometimes power trips or outages will cause it to disconnect, though not very often. I'll do my best to keep everyone updated with the online status. If playback is a little slower than usual it's also because there's likely a high amount of traffic accessing the files. If it's unbearably laggy, please download the files and play them on your device instead of streaming them. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them and I appreciate your patience on this, as I do have a very busy life outside of soap opera archiving aha.

A comment on 2003: I've always had a problem with the way Rick just dumped Amber. Amber was dealing with the trauma of losing two children of her own and was CLEARLY having a nervous breakdown after losing custody of Little Eric, but instead of recognizing she needed help to get through it, he vilifies her, blames her completely without recognizing his part in it, and just leaves her in the dust. Husband of the year!

It's one thing to attack Brooke/KKL, but going after the infant in the 2003 episodes is CRAZYYYY.

For the love of god Hope, please channel your inner Amanda Woodward and relish this moment. Gloat. Rub it in. None of this nonsense about scared and shocked facial expressions. Grin. Be smug. Watching her and Carter guilt over this and watching her take all the things Ridge and Steffy say to her just sitting down isn’t entertaining at all. Conflicts are far more entertaining when the two parties can dish it as good as they take it.

JG's business stories are so dry. It's literally "I'm going to business the best business that ever businessed while I buisiness someone else's business" day after day. I have no emotional attachment to Chancellor-Winters-Abbott, Glissade, Jabot, Newman Media, or Newman Enterprises...

Literally most of soap twitter is taking the bait that Heather is dead and Vail Bloom is gone based on the very unreliable news sources they've been sharing. Let's think critically here. Knowing Josh Griffith, this is all likely one giant dream by Sharon. Her knocking out during this crescendo of dramatic events leading up to her anniversary episode is the perfect set up for Sharon to flash through all the hard moments of her life. When she comes to, this serves as her epiphany to finally recognize she needs help and to get her meds sorted out. One more thing. Sharon Case was in studio when she was in an interview with Alan Locher. She described doing a scene at the GCAC and she was in a green dress with her makeup done nicely, hardly the trajectory of her appearance during her downward spiral. TL;DR, Josh Griffith is predictable, but even he won't take Sharon to this kind of murder route.

@Maxim: @Videnbas is Correct - I wasn't roasting KKL. I was mocking the type of comments people would make on this. 'inb4' means 'in before', and is usually followed by a comment that is usually posted in order to poke fun at how repetitive and some people will react and comment. It's really just too bad that all the comments about KKL and SB's physical appearance get a mob of upvotes and likes, so those are the comments that usually float to the top.

I still think Brooke is low key iconic for hand-delivering Macy divorce papers back in 2000 and was an unintentionally hilarious moment LMAO.

I don't know if I'm in the minority (or if my personal nostalgia is making me biased), but I very much find myself enjoying the early 2000 B&B episodes on YouTube. From Macy losing her sobriety, with Becky's cancer, and of course the Morgan storyline I find myself entertained. I'm surprised at how critical some of the comments are from this era. Side note, the same toxic mouthbreathers have also latched onto making personal attacks to Sarah Buxton/Morgan lmao.
