Bravo..... I agree, so thanks for saying all that. I have to say, I was never a Carly fan. She did always seem to be a little selfpittying, but also angry. No matter what was going on she always was mad at the situation and the person it involved (along with everyone in a 100 mile radius) I really do like her now. I like LW playing her. I liked her from Loving and The City, but I think she brings a bit more depth to the character and she's funny and is making me, not only tolerate, but like the character a lot. I'm also an Alexis fan. I go back and forth about which people are highest on my list, but I can say the JE is consistantly my favorite. I'm sure I've said snotty things in the past about both characters, but it was situation thing and not the characters as a whole, so this is my belated apology for anyone that gets offended at what I say about any of the characters. OK, talk to you all later. Here's hoping JE's on tomorrow... and still waiting for that "unrecognizible bedroom" thing to happen.

OK, so we only have 2 more days for this to happen if its gonna happen this week. My personal opinion is that, surprise surprise, it won't be TQ and LS. It seems to me like that would be obvious, but some seem to think (unless it is sarcasm, which it very well may be) it could be what they are talking about. Might just be wishful thinking. But Luke isn't around and he isn't supposed to be back yet, right? Did I miss something. Someone fill me in please. I know it is coming up b/c of those spoiler photos, but not this week, right?

Well, than I apologize. I didn't know you've been here that long b/c I am relatively new to the board. And like I said, you can think whatever you like and say whatever you'd like, just like anyone else. What I had a problem with was not the opinion expressed, but that you had to attack us to "lighten the mood" (which, by the way, is not the way it read) You hadn't been on the board in quite a while and you came back to trash talk. Unlike some people here, I don't hate Skye, I like her character and RC. Also don't attack or belittle the fans of or the actors playing the characters I don't like. And PS. no one attacked Skye until you made your remark about the tracy/laura to make way for Skye thing. Just show a little respect is all I'm asking. If that happens, I more than welcome you back to the board.

Thanks... I thought I was coming off a bit !@#$%^&*]y, but oh well! I just think it was too much time wasted on negative energy, why bother. I don't know how much time I'll have to start a story. I'm still working, I have quite a few more portraits to start and finish before Christmas, and I have more classes starting mid-October. so here's what I don't understand, and I'm not saying it to be a !@#$%^&*] or anything like that, I'm just a little confused as to why one would do this... why go into a place where not one person agrees with you and put in your two cents? Don't get me wrong, they would have every right to do so, but it seems like it is done b/c you think we are all of a sudden gonna see the light, switch sides, and say "by golly, that's exactly right, why didn't I think of that before?!" We are not undecided or indifferent here, no one is going to be converted by your one-line argument, so why bother. Why not just find a place devoted to what you are interested in? This isn't politics or even something worth putting up a fight about, so it seems to me like a tremendous waste of energy that can put toward anything else and be more useful. ok, I think I'm done now. and MF: I think I am partial to the nurse's ball or the New Year's Eve storylines. I just miss the nurse's ball and the NYE story would just be great!!! if you don't mind, I might use one or both of these for a story of my own when I find the time.

god I hope so, cuz that would be a sorely missed opportunity there. Not much to say, just checking in. Hoping she's on today, but common sense and a long time of disappointment says... probably not. That would be amazing!!! Then, of course, he would fight for her and she'd take him back eventually. But not before making him suffer a bit... just for entertainment sake.

My take on the softness is that they are using very specific times. It is not a general attitude adjustment, though it seems that way since she is only on when the writers think it absolutely neccessary. It comes out when she is talking to Luke, but let's keep in mind it has come out when she is talking about her and Lulu's abortions and after Justus' death. Remember the olive scene that everyone is so fond of. That was good old Tracy... we need to look at the surrounding circumstances and believe (with all our hearts) that she will be back to her normal self once all this has passed and Luke is back, giving her an actual story line. I think as long as she still has some of her original spark, I'm fine with it, they just need to make sure they don't lose too much b/c, you're right, the fact that she is the exact opposite of Laura is what makes them work. Not only that, it's what makes me love them b/c, truthfully, Laura bores me to tears. I know most people love her, but I can't deal with all the sweetness and yesing everyone to death and always looking at the brightside. In life that's great, but in the great Wide World of Soap Operas, it's boring. I'm off to bed

wow, definately didn't read your post earlier. probably should have, would have saved me the trouble of asking the exact same question! So to answer your question and mine... I've said before, I'd love to see her on house. I absolutely love his with Sela Ward's character, but I'd like to see him with JE. He's moved on from his ex, sort of, she could be the new girl that gives her a run for her money and makes him forget all about Sela. I'd also like to see her have some role on Grey's Anatomy, don't really know what, but I'd like it. I'd like her any one of the legal shows, but I'd like it to be a longer thing on any of these shows than a one day walk on role. I would have also liked her in a movie like The Prince of Tides. I wasn't crazy about the movie, but the book was amazing and had much sexier characters (I'm sure the movie would have been different with a ifferent cast, so I'd give it a chance). I think I would have also liked her in... actually, I don't know. I, personally, think she can play any type of role very well, so it's just a matter of what she'd like to do. I'd like to see her in everything!!

Out of curiousity... What tv schows would we like to see JE on? Guest star or reguilar, but it has to a show already in exsistance and character + story line that would fit into the show, not something totally made up or a type of thing we think she's be good at (cuz let's face it, that's almost all of them). I have my choices but I'll after others post. Can't wait to read everyone's upcomin stories. can't wait for oh baby (I know it's taking a while, I'll be patient, but I'm still excited. I also can't wait for MF's new story!!!! we are long overdue (by my standards anyway) for a little Luke and Tracy angst/romance. Later!!

I completely agree with you. I do like her when she is subtle, but I think that if there were one that was exactly the situation that would have caused her to break down. So I thought it was perfect, though not likely to ever really happen again. And good thing you like long posts. I have a tendancy to talk and talk and talk, so I hope it doesn't get to bothersome, though the way things go here, it probably won't. Brightside, if it does, you can just skip over it!!

I forgot to do my list!!! (told you I'd be back quickly, this'll probably be tacked onto the end of my previous post) favorite hair: Like everyone else, the curls. that is tied with the longer straight hair she has now. I also like the bobs, but I'm very picky. I don't like the really short hair, but I like the bob she had around Lila's funeral. favorite jacket/robe: I also don't have too big a problem with her wardrobe. Maybe I should, but I do like most of her jackets, the only thing I don't like about the robes are the fact that they are gigantic and make her look much bigger than she is. I do hate the fur lined things though. I don't know why. line or speech: to be honest, the line is starting to blur between what is really on the show and what I read here. I didn't watch either. I'm only 21, but I've seen the first season and was interested in seeing the second. The fact that JE was on then is only icing on the cake. I think you have it right, though. I know she went to Gary for help with her alcoholic husband ( i think he became his sponsor). They got a bit closer and had an affair, she fell in love with him I think. As for the lack of sympathy towards her character. She showed up at her lover's dorr and told the wife that she had been sleeping with her husband, they were in love and were going to be together. She wasn't on for very long, so I don't know how much sympathy she could have gained by doing that in what little time she had. My love, however, is unconditional. She can do no wrong in my eyes and I love any character she plays and will always be a fan, so to hell with the naysayers. I think that's al I have to say for the moment, but I'm sure I'll be back pretty quickly with some more pointless drivel.

Nope, sorry. Nothing in the previews today. No one knows, by any chance, if knots landing season 2 is being sold, do they? I was wondering anyway, but that's the season that JE is on so I thought maybe someone here would know. I don't know what that crap was, but they needed to fix it, so she's coming back to correct it or clear it up and once and forall end their marriage... b/c as wee all know, he's madly in love with Tracy. I don't think he would have said anything about the setting him free if she wasn't going to at some point (preffurably now as opposed to her next visit)
