  1. Jordan has always been shady. She came on shady as a double or triple agent who could not get out of cahoots with the Jeromes no matter what she did while constantly claiming 'deep down, I'm a cop!' It got to be ridiculous. So it wouldn't be a stretch.
  2. That's because, according to the sidebar, she edited her post and this time used a camera manufactured after 1980. Small favors, I suppose.
  3. The Max/Diane horny era nearly broke me.
  4. She is tolerable for me as a recurring lawyer. This unfortunately is not her current role, which has expanded beyond what I can tolerate. She also appears to literally be sapping Tristan Rogers' lifeforce and precious fluids, as I have never seen him seem old and frail until now.
  5. For God's sake. When a thread becomes wall to wall post after post after post by the same blocked user, you (very) occasionally have to look. Donna. Two things. One: Nobody can read what you just photographed. No one. Two: Hunting down a scene from GL is not on topic for this thread. It can easily go to the GL thread. This is not your blog. This is not your house. This is not USENET. Take it to the GL thread, and for God's sake find a phone with a camera if you insist on photographing pages from books.
  6. He did, but they were never going invest in a Black male lead. It's sad, because he did have a spark early on and came on giving interviews saying he wanted to be 'the Black Luke Spencer.' I knew that would never happen. I feel bad for what happened to his passion but I also am very tired of watching him lol. Diane - Diane! - is mad that Scorpio is gloating re: going after Sonny? Gloating is all Diane has done about her work since coming on this show! It's 85% of her scenes!
  7. He has been checked out since he first realized they weren't going to pair him with Hayden or Stafford's Nina in his first couple years, IMO.
  8. At first I thought this Jordan conspiracy story was about the Screen Actors Guild hunting her down for her crimes, but no, it's who shot Curtis or something. Who cares? I enjoy Stephen Smith's viral clips on social media but I am not here for his I Am Sonny Corinthos soap star fantasy which he is clearly living for; he delivers every line like a Quiet Storm radio station. Still, at least he displays some interest, unlike Curtis who continues to approach virtually every scene not with Laura like he is a greeter at Chili's.
  9. You really get a sense of how utterly disinterested Frank has been in the Black canvas since before he and Ron moved to GH when you realize that not only are almost all of the characters related either by blood or marriage, but he keeps staging scenes with a) the worst actor on the show since Oscar and b) a non-actor sportscasting celebrity who just likes to hang out at the show, and still comes away from this material thinking 'yes, let's continue.' Please, Mulcahey, end this. The latest Molly seems like someone in the cast's IRL sibling they just brought in to be nice.
  10. I hesitate to even mention it because it's so disgusting, but the antivaxx 'died suddenly' freaks have already latched onto this simply because Erika is a celebrity.
  11. Jeffrey O'Neil was beyond unpopular with the bulk of the audience from what I recall. But he also had that very vocal segment of Bradley Cole fanatics who snowed execs in the early online era, so there we were.
  12. Oh God, that's awful. Erika is beyond devoted to her children and used to go on and on about them in any interview, the newsletter, you name it. I remember Amanda as young Viki in 2003.
  13. Ava is a killer. That's how she came on and that's who she is. She wanted power and she had no problem killing anyone to get it. Everything else could add nuance and depth (like her unlikely but interesting friendship with Trina, who only really knows one aspect of her) but is not the core of her being. I didn't mind the dark, dysfunctional relationship with Nikolas (when it was written that way, which it wasn't always) because it suited both people. I liked the idea of her being duped and romanced by Ryan, though the execution was all over the map and made her a weeping victim. Everything else she's had since Carlivati left has often been pretty nauseating - and he did write the Denise saga, so let's not forget that either. I think there is more fun to be had with Ava in the right contexts, but she's already been on the show way, way longer than anyone else in her non-Sonny/Jason role in mob story would've been. So I would go hardcore with her for awhile, get her back to what she does best (and she's not that OOC now, besides the cozy relationships with her enemies) and then let her either burn out in a blaze of glory or let her come in and out in future. Romantic heroine Ava does not work for me; Ava who gets along with Sonny, Carly, etc. does not work for me.
  14. I would like to see Maura stay for a while longer, but it's been discussed at length before. The fact is it's ludicrous that Ava coexists with Sonny and others civilly after the shît she's done. It defangs the character. I would keep Ava for awhile at least, but I do think the character has an expiration date.
  15. Adamson was played out on soaps years ago. It was my idea to pair Maxie and Michael, but I had that idea a decade ago when both characters still had some life left to them. They don't now. Same. But I'll allow it, for now.
  16. AFAIC Maxie should be gone for three to five years, lol. Kirsten returning is optional to me. Michael is almost as played out and should be gone for at least a year or two as well (and recast).
  17. That's right, I forgot Charlotte Gibson.
  18. It'll be very interesting to see what plays out here staff-wise. I don't know which of the current crop of writers are solid. And again I believe a number of young writers of color are still on staff at GH brought in over the most recent years; folks can correct me if I'm wrong. As we've all noted, Mulcahey and Korte are the first key GH writers installed that didn't have their careers made by Frank or come from OLTL since before he and Ron took over. BTW @Errol the quoting system is real messed up.
  19. I do too, but not with that albino goblin.
  20. Having Felicia back regularly as a strong utility character amongst other vets has been a real boon for the show, but Felicia does not need Maxie's constant presence to do that. Ryan Paevey was also dreadful despite his body, just a plastic hunk onscreen; I can't believe he lasted so long or gave Maxie another needless child. Hayden has always been pointless.
  21. Felicia and Mac's daughter has been on the show nonstop for almost 20 years. It's time for a break.
