  1. Whoops: Important, and with a lot of good on the record quotes:
  2. I just don't see a long-term viability in any triangle there. Dante and Sam was always a stopgap pairing designed to have some place to put two characters the regime had no interest in, and it's never been terribly popular so what's the point? There's no way I buy they wouldn't end over Lulu eventually. I'd be counting the days and I don't think a love triangle based on a C-pairing and a new recast has juice for longer than 6 months tops. And without that what else has Sam got going on? Not much.
  3. Cuomo flipped fast after getting cancelled and fired from mainstream media, unsurprisingly. Not worth posting here, nor is the Daily Caller.
  4. Speaking of, the Nevada early/mail vote rollercoaster (which I do not recommend following) continues - another large GOP early dump (leading to Ralston swiftly declaring a new 'rural firewall' for the Republicans which is a bit much IMO), followed by this: A good thread (Ralston-endorsed): This peak/valley cycle is likely to keep happening for at least a few days, so we probably shouldn't obsess over it.
  5. Again, states like NV seem likely to have a reverse 2020 thing going on with early vote - that was a very unique situation, and rural/old people vote early. I'm not going to lose my mind over it.
  6. The timeline for Holly's pregnancy is confirmed to be literally impossible. She was onscreen the entire nine months in 1992! And for almost a year after! Ridiculous nonsense.
  7. I do think the NPA vote will be key. But I also think we have a very good shot at many of those states people are qvelling about.
  8. I mean Biden. The conversation they're having moves from Harris' current totals (where she's not losing as much of the Black/Latino vote as once speculated) to months-old predictions that Joe would lose a lot as well. Cohn gets very angry when Carlson suggests predictions of Trump's major minority support have been a mirage all along.
  9. This is only the OP, but Nate Cohn loses his shít here on Adam Carlson in a long thread that is likely to be deleted, then walks it back and apologizes. The Times and especially many polling people really get angry when anyone suggests Biden might not have lost all those votes.
  10. Meanwhile:
  11. He's been doing that on the stump for weeks, it's not new.
  12. Another for the @marceline tally. I can buy that he's decaying, but at the same time he still does stuff like the McDonald's stunt or this barber shop nonsense. How are they comfortable with some of these outings and not others at this point if it's that bad?
  13. Makes sense:
  14. I think NV (along with likely a few other states) is just going to be a bit of a rollercoaster for at least a few days. I also suspect a bit of an inverted pattern from 2020 which was an unusual situation - it's natural we wouldn't have as much mail/early vote post-COVID. But it definitely looks a lot better this morning vs. last night. Obsessing over it for two weeks is not sustainable. But I might a little bit!
  15. The Wikipedia page for Knots is actually very helpful for the crossover episodes sync, and has a full section devoted to where they connect. That should be all you really need. But I also cross-checked airdates on occasion, and the now sadly defunct Knots Blogging site's recaps (still available through cache or the Wayback Machine) which interconnected them. I am only fully watching KL Season 7 and Dallas Season 9 (the Dream Season) in sync though, due to the creative swap with the showrunners. Otherwise I have largely skimmed and dipped in and out of small or large chunks of the run of Dallas over time because frankly, it's often boring and repetitious.
  16. The Nevada rural turnout for the GOP was also very strong on Day 1. Do I think it's the end of the world, no - I think one of the outcomes below is very possible.
  17. "We" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. The reality is that the media (and especially Politico) long ago created and embraced the framing of 'it only matters if his base cares' when reporting on Trump.
  18. This feels like base-covering for something they sense is already in the wind.
  19. I think Republicans are far too confident re: mail-in/EV, given the fact that we naturally won't be seeing mail-in at the same level as 2020.
  20. I thought they wanted him to have something to do with Val's exit/disappearance. But I may be way off.
  21. I thought it was for the final two seasons?
  22. Goodbye England's Rose:
