  1. I love RH and I always enjoy smarmy Ric weaseling about. Few things could be worse than his last return, and the character has been missed so why not.
  2. Speaking of Fields, I don't think we ever knew who stalled out the Living Single revival a few years ago. I seem to recall one of the cast saying it wasn't who people might think (Latifah). Later I came to suspect it was actually Erika Alexander, who said more recently she had been hesitant and would only want to do it if it had a compelling premise but had since gotten onboard. She's doing fairly well these days with various roles and other projects, and of course her role in American Fiction.
  3. It sounds like it's Lisa to me from other people's snooping, but that could be my own bias. Lisa and her evangelical family got up to some wild shít in the public eye in the 2000s.
  4. There's no way Mulcahey would've gone along with this. I assume he's pretty much long gone in anything but name only, and I'm barely getting through catching up with the rest of July myself so I will be dropping til Jonathan turns up.
  5. TW: Brian Stelter
  6. This isn't even about that. FV just wanted to hire Eva LaRue (Mark Teschner told us so) and now wants her viable to remain. I don't blame Eva, who is playing this woman to the hilt. She's not the issue, it's the character and the show.
  7. The fact that Kristina said that line is insane and actionable. I've had enough. People gotta go.
  8. That's a shame, though I dunno how well any revival would've done after the recent streaming crash vs. maybe 5-10 years ago when it was all the rage. She says you can suss out the castmember checking who she's still tight with on IG, but she still follows all the other girls AFAIK and I can't see any of them in any recent posts (I also didn't know she was on Palm Royale, good for her).
  9. The Beltway is notably bitter about lacking a Dems in Disarray open convention - especially over a Black woman.
  10. delete - older clip than I thought. Kamala is edging forward (click to enlarge):
  11. Also intriguing (Biden was down by 5 there): What's more compelling re: this issue IMO is Kamala's work on behalf of sex workers for years back in the day. The horseshoe left tried to make this an issue the other night implying she was a trafficker and got heavily blown out by the rest of Twitter over it.
  12. Thread:
  13. One of our first post-Sunday polls: I want to find a non-crass way to say this, and maybe there isn't one. But I will say that in addition to the absolute horror of this for women in Iowa, IMO this could not come at a worse moment for Trump/Vance. I mean, I wasn't gonna say it but it was my first thought in the immediate moment. God bless Robin.
  14. That is wild. Bob Short. @DRW50 should hear that one.
  15. I don't think antisemitism is strong enough in the committed Dem base to hurt Shapiro (or among swing or low-intel voters - most of them don't give a shít about Israel/Palestine). It's only a product of the very online left, who generally aren't voting anyway. Part of a Harris victory will likely have to net some of the Obama youth vote. I don't think that vote today is made up of antisemitic campus reactionaries. YMMV, I just don't see it.
  16. In fairness, Vance is not exactly taking the world by storm. There is a reason there are reports Trumpworld already considers him a mistake. The faithful is not enough to put him over to a larger voting bloc. I think Kamala has a good shot and the momentum is here if we can sustain it, but I do think it should be Beshear. Not because Shapiro is a Jew, though I do think he would help keep PA.
