  1. In North Bend (location shoot home of Twin Peaks):
  2. Me neither. But if you really want to go nuts, try processing Liz and her boys supposedly living in 'the Brownstone' and squaring that set with the longtime one and its exterior.
  3. Gary Levine talks the TP backstory at ABC and onward. Patricia Arquette My friend and brother, my creative partner in crime for nearly forty years, a singular artist and astonishing personality. I loved him, and I will hold our laughter and shared love for the medium he mastered as few have ever done forever in my heart and soul,” said Frost in a statement to Deadline. Many, many more including a wonderful statement from longtime TP director Lesli Linka Glatter.
  4. @DRW50 I'm sure there will be more, but these are a few. This is what I suspected, but it is awful:
  5. Greystone looks like a BB&B even worse than the Qs. It's equally bad.
  6. I would be fine with a lot of it if they just changed the color scheme to something warmer and more similar to the old days. It's not the gun-metal gray of the 2010s but it's pretty sterile. The parlor/sitting room/whatever from the pat should also be used again much more.
  7. Yeah, Erika also disliked him. I imagine the feeling was fairly universal based on the stories.
  8. I agree. He was Erica's stand-by.
  9. I always preferred Dimitri, but I didn't have a problem with Jack and Erica marrying for good in the early 2000s. It seemed like the right thing and the right time for them. Unfortunately then they kept breaking up over and over and I got tired of it. And I love Walt Willey, it wasn't his fault (and I wouldn't even necessarily blame his other bad pairings on him).
  10. I believe his daughter Jennifer said he'd been moved or evacuated as recently as the last few days due to the fires. He was housebound due to his emphysema. I blame the fire in part, frankly. Which he might find appropriate, but he'd also say (and did say) nothing ever dies. Very hard.
  11. He'll never really be gone. Laura Palmer taught me that. Goodbye, David.
  12. This one is very hard. @DRW50 Lynch has been a important part of my life and artistic development since I was very small. I don't know what to say about it. So I won't for now. I'll see you in the trees.
  13. It's not nearly as bad with the gray paint on everything as it was in the early-mid 2010s. I do think the Q mansion looks better than it did a while ago, but I'm still not a fan of the more monochrome color scheme. I do wish they'd use the original drawing/sitting room or whatever more often vs. the Bed Bath & Beyond-looking rooms.
  14. The fairly detailed dedicated GH wiki might have it. They keep astonishingly close track of those locations.
  15. "You thought I would sell you this house. I will, Lucy, when pigs fly and Nixon's reelected." Recent writers never made enough use of Leslie's dry wit.
  16. These are the choices? I turn the gun on myself.
  17. Calling either of them actors would be a stretch, but James is at least more charming.
  18. The blessing is that a lot of that stuff is now on YT. And Leslie was great at it. The stuff with Gail and her past, etc. and then the big quad in '79/'80. The really raw stuff, like when she drove Jeff to shoot himself in the head or something(?), isn't there but you can find her gaslighting/blackmailing Lesley and cozying up to teen Laura in early '78 I believe, with the first Rick still in the role. I have been revisiting the cancer story from '95, which I watched live as a kid and it's still very good.
  19. Neither do I, but a man can dream. Exactly. I'm not convinced that kid in the role is more than 8.
  20. I don't mind Laura having a brother, but it's always seemed like an odd relationship and it's never been mined in the right ways for me. They say the names (Gordon Grey, etc.) but it feels very awkward. Martin keeps calling her 'sister' and I don't believe it because I don't feel the material digs deep enough. I did watch some of the stuff with Lesley and just found it silly. Martin and Cyrus howling at each other about how Cyrus backed over their dad in the driveway with the family car, and old wizened Cyrus wailing that it was an accident - I am not making this up. I could not care less. That's this regime's weird schizophrenic approach to pathos with their arch-villains, which I am sure they will repeat with Sidwell soon (probably by making him Natalia's ex and father to her kids).
  21. Most of the general audience is not as plugged in as this thread. They don't know that promo from Adam.
  22. I think MEK was much more energized (and sexy) when he had the beard and the accent. Without them he's just a variation on Sad Later Years Tad to me. I miss them, but I still don't want him with Tracy. At all. It's another round of this regime's usual Slot A into Tab B 'romance' for veterans which also brought us Robert and Diane, or Maxie and Austin which I had to have explained in detail to prove it somehow actually happened (mostly mercifully offscreen). I do think Dominic and Alexa have major chemistry. Their clashing scenes in Prague and back at the Qs prove that, and she's nowhere near as hard as Julie Berman so it plays more fun. But I am fine with them waiting it out. I would not put Cody and Sasha back together unless it's time to cut costs and tighten belts to lose both, in which case I would have it turn out Holly lied yet again because of some bad guy she fúcked, and then you could write them out happily ever after. I would at least give Sasha a HEA with someone, as boring as I find her in a lead role. I can understand some of the appeal. He definitely comes off like one.
  23. That's exactly what this SL reminds me of. Holly was very dismissive of the story in her book as a 'silly love triangle' (actually quad) with Ed, Phylicia Rashad and Carla's new younger football player (played by Roger Hill from The Warriors, who I believe she may have been involved with IRL) but at least it kept Carla in the action for a few more years, and it was tied into the ongoing crime storyline with the Chapins, Alex Crown, etc. I find the Kai/Trina story much lamer. Carla married Dr. Jack Scott after Ed, played by Arthur Burghardt who Ellen, Erika, Bob Woods and probably others all vocally couldn't stand. She never married the football guy - Alec Lowndes, I think his name was. I do think Cody is going to be Lulu's go-to guy for awhile while Dante grieves Sam, she feels she can't tell him about her renewed love for him as a result (she never got to tell him she wanted him back before her coma in 2020) and they clash, etc. Which is fine with me as long as it doesn't ruin the friendship between Dante and Cody long-term. I do think Alexa has good chemistry with both men and that Lulu/Dante will remain the endgame. I don't have an issue with it but i'm still mostly fond of Cody/Tracy. I can get behind Sasha in a smaller support role but that is not what the show currently wants her doing anymore. Lovely news if true. That's a major film.
