Unpopular opinions: cancelled soaps edition
It would have made total sense. If there was no Eden, the only woman the fans would have accepted him with was Julia.

Skeevy - that's the perfect word for it.

Jada later gave an in-depth interview to one of the magazines on the subject. She said that David O'Brien especially was hugely supportive. Jada also mentioned that she was thinking of writing a book about her experiences to help others, but I don't think it ever came to fruition.

Yes, there's quite a resemblance.

Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread
I hope Dolly lets them have it. She gave them a million dollars to fund their vaccine because she wanted to help people and not be yet another example of corporate greed. ๐ก๐ก๐ก๐ก๐ก

Actors who followed a writer/EP from show to show
I think so, too. Probably more would have joined if not for the East Coast/West Coast thing.

How about Jennifer Bransford? Didn't she work under JFP at OLTL before GH?

I'd like to see Becky concentrate on staying sober, raising Beverly Rose and going back to school for now.

Onscreen all the time and we liked it
Agreed. Under Guza, he wasn't grounded. Is Tony Geary now officially retired from acting? I wouldn't be surprised if he came back one more time before all is said and done.

Probably, but I don't think she needs a love interest at this point. Becky is still a mess.

I watched most of Luke's first run (1978-84, IIRC) on YouTube and I could see why Tony Geary became such z star. Even after Luke's rape of Laura, I could understand why he was popular. In the 1990s and beyond, I just donโt think Luke was as multifaceted or interesting by himself as Laura was. Also, I don't know if it was delayed burnout or complacency or what, but Tony Geary started doing what Maurice Benard now does - phoning it in on a regular basis. The Felicia affair also soured me on Luke, except he was mostly bearable in Genie's 2006-07 return.

Here's a 1971 photo of Mary Stuart and Larry Haines with LOL's Audrey Peters and Ron Tomme. I'm guessing that they were celebrating the 20th anniversary of both shows (which debuted September 1951).
