Whitney Houston dead at 48!
I've been reading Robyn's book...and didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I have. (Of course, I'm only halfway through - when Whitney was still on her first world tour.) Have any of you out there read it?

Not only was he great as Willie Loomis, but he more than earned his Emmy for playing Harvey on Cagney & Lacey. RIP.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
As I've said before, the best way to enjoy SB is to ignore the backstory as much as possible. If you try to decipher it too much, your head will explode.- The Doctors Discussion Thread
According to Thor Fields (Erich Aldrich, 1977-1980), the actors were interviewed both individually and as a group. He said a wonderful time was had by all!! ☺ Jennifer Crutchfield has also reached out to several cast members who are located in LA (the group she interviewed yesterday are still based in/around NYC). We may have more interviews to look forward to - who knows? 😎❤- Guiding Light Discussion Thread

She's still a very pretty lady!! ☺- Ryan's Hope Discussion Thread
She was the personification of grace, elegance and class. I still crack up at the scene at the courthouse when Jill and Seneca are going to get married. The little boy playing Edmund calls for "Nancy" over and over. Obviously they were on a budget and couldn't retape the scene, so they had to continue. I found it adorable. ☺❤- Passions Discussion Thread
It's great to hear that. This was not a soap for everyone's tastes, and I along with many others are still disgusted by how cavalierly issues like rape were treated. Still, Passions carved out its own unique niche in the world of soaps. I truly think the beginning of the end was the tragic loss of Josh Ryan Evans. He took with him much of the heart of the show. Tabitha (and by extension, Juliet Mills) certainly was never the same without her favorite sidekick. Am I the only one who feels this way?- One Life to Live Tribute Thread

Do any of you know when Rod Arrants' last airdate was as Travis? I know it was in 1984, but that's about it. Thanks in advance.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
I thought the pairing of CC/Santana under Paul Burke and Ava Lazar was nauseating - especially their bed scenes. He looked like her grandfather. 😳- Another World Discussion Thread

It was a real kick seeing a pre-Home Improvement Patricia Richardson playing a nurse a few weeks back. ☺❤- Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
I don't know why I'm always surprised by things like this. Hopefully, he'll get the judge who will toss him permanently into a dungeon and throw away the key!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/01/08/us/weinstein-phone-judge-recusal-request/index.html?fbclid=IwAR31kH1pWEaPHWzjxfF4eqLSm0yv3GdfK5mMOkI7UnUIz7WTybxJpmJGusw- GH: Classic Thread

So am I. I think she did one or two indie movies in the mid-1980s, but her show biz career basically ended after she left ATWT.- The Doctors Discussion Thread
Thank goodness JER never got near TD. What a scary thought. Glenn Corbett made a short-lived return to the show around late May/early June 1979, which should be coming up very soon in the rerun cycle. He returned to TD full-time the following summer. - Dark Shadows Discussion Thread
