I don't think they ever did. Maybe they were both in some big group scenes at the same time, but I don't recall any direct interaction.

So, so sad. GH made such a huge mistake getting rid of him, and IMHO the show was never the same without him. Alan and Monica should have been the slightly dysfunctional Steve and Audrey of GH, taking their baton as the show's longest-running couple who also still had ties to the hospital!! GH aside, everything that I read about Mr. Damon was that he was a staunch family man who was adored by his GH co-stars and fans. God rest him. 🙏❤
