  1. Didn't Helena push Katherine off the parapet in 1999 and that's what killed Katherine? I'm pretty sure Tyler had already left by then. I think the first time Katherine went off the parapet in 1998, it was a mere fall. You guys feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. When he was in "sexy" scenes with Santana, he looked like her grandfather. 🤮
  3. Yes, I remember. Nikolas had been shot in front of Luke's nightclub, had a tracheotomy and for whatever reason, Robin was enlisted to help him learn to speak again. It was certainly an interesting couple concept - Nikolas and Robin did not usually cross paths in the storyline, and it was fun to see each character in somewhat different surroundings with fresh scene partners. It's too bad that the potential pairing never really went anywhere.
  4. I agree - especially when the character debuted as a man for weeks on end. Then she was shown in many silly wigs and large glasses. My favorite moment was when Sophia showed up to confront Peter Flint in his hospital bed. She was wearing all black, complete with a huge hat and veil. It was hard to stop laughing because she looked so incongruous in that setting. Not one of the extras looked at her oddly. It was too funny. 😂
  5. I did, too. The costumes were incredible.
  6. Maybe...at least in the beginning. Plus, it was nice to see characters like Alan and Monica there, teaching the interns. But even that kind of tie to the parent show was abandoned fairly early on.
  7. This is kind of funny - as much as I loved GH in the 90s into the early 00s, I never could get into PC. This was both pre- and post-supernatural.
  8. Here's a screen cap collage that I found on Twitter of the 1998 Bacchanalia Ball - with Katherine Bell falling off the parapet.
  9. If I ever get married, I want a winter wedding and would wear a dress like Sheridan on Passions (with Luis):
  10. My favorite part of Cruz's beach house was the dartboard next to the door. 😂 He actually used it once. Cruz was angrily tossing darts at the board while awaiting Pearl's call with news of Eden (who was with Kirk "The Jerk" Cranston then).
  11. Yup! Actually, I do remember later that Sheridan got amnesia and she started calling herself Diana. 🙄 I think that was around the time she met Chris Boothe.
  12. Thank you. I do remember Marty. I hated the story with Antonio so much that I blocked most of it out. 😡😂
  13. Didn't Sheridan on Passions have one kid each from brothers Luis and Antonio?
  14. May 1998 - just before my high school graduation. Great times. 😊 That is such a shame. Genie should have been - and still should be - to GH what Susan Lucci was to AMC and Erika Slezak was to OLTL. I don't know why ABC/GH doesn't treat both the actress and the character of Laura like the legends they are.
  15. And - did they really think they were not going to get backlash? It would be insensitive to do it now, but in July 1999 Diana had only been gone less than two years. Thankfully, they dropped the Diana connection in pretty short order.
  16. GH should really have hired younger actors to play Laura and Stefan for flashbacks. Those flashbacks did not make them look younger. 😂
  17. @Vee - from the first week:
  18. It really was. For an hour long show, it always had a relatively small cast. Or maybe it just feels that way because the show always had such a great sense of community.
  19. Those flashbacks were so hokey! 😂 I mainly remember those billowy white clothes, especially on Stefan because he always wore dark gray and black.
  20. Awesome! Post it here when/if you find it.
  21. I'm rewatching the AW Locher Room episodes. The beauty of AW, especially in the 1980s and 1990s, was not really rooted in family by blood but friends who made families of their own. Seeing the Zoom chats, it's obvious that those bonds were real and unchanged 20+ years since the show left the air.
  22. That was the worst!! Plus Stephen Nichols didn't even seem convincing when he called her that.
  23. Me three!! I wrote in a few times to her column in the early years but never got published. I don't even remember what I wrote in about. 😂
  24. Well, I meant that she might be on two days a week instead of one. I guess it remains to be seen. It's just speculation on my part.
  25. Yes. I'm trying to think of ANY screen couple on one soap that made it work again on another soap.
