  1. "You're Still the One" - Shania Twain
  2. As of yesterday, both of my parents are fully vaccinated!! 😊❤🎉🎊
  3. Sharon just doesn't know how and when to keep quiet. The more she talks, the worse things get.
  4. On SB, I could never see Robin Wright's Kelly saddled with the plots Eileen Davidson's Kelly got - i.e. the "romance" with Cruz. RW and A Martinez always had a big brother/little sister vibe, and no matter who was playing Kelly - did any SB fan believe Cruz would really go for Eden's sister? 🤮 OTOH, I would have liked to see what RW would have done in the Paris storyline, romance with Ric Castillo and the other plots that made Carrington Garland's Kelly so great. It would have been interesting.
  5. I love that picture. Go Frank!!! 😂
  6. Cool. Did this already happen?
  7. I could never see Jada as Faith. Still, Nancy Barrett played the role briefly, and she and Jada were the same age (both born in 1943).
  8. I never found the site user-friendly, to be honest.
  9. I cannot see Ilene Kristen's Delia playing out the King Kong, ahem, Prince Albert story on RH. I also couldn't see her Delia running the Crystal Palace in its heyday. The one Randall Edwards Delia story I could see Ilene in is the running over Barry Ryan plot. Jealousy, rage and acting before she thinks - vintage Delia.
  10. No, he wasn't. Even he would admit that later. Besides, I think he was better with the hour-long format anyway. He had room to stretch his stories out and could write in more characters.
  11. I believe it was.
  12. @applcin, you hit the nail right on the head.
  13. He has a brain? Since when? 😉😝
  14. They may just end up giving that hour back to the affiliates at this point.
  15. There was a fire at her apartment building complex in suburban Cleveland a few years ago. It was nothing major - quickly contained with no major damage- but one of the local stations interviewed some of the tenants on the news. One of them was Lynda. She was identified by name, but just as a tenant - not as a writer or the soap lady.
  16. Exactly. No kindness, no understanding - just lies and hypocrisy.
  17. @AbcNbc247, YOU should have been a soap continuity person. That was incredible!! 👏👏👏👏👏
  18. I was working in a movie theater in late 1999 when one of my customers was Lynda!! She was very gracious and signed an autograph for me. No, I don't remember what movie she went to see. 😊
  19. Through the mail autograph success from Christopher Durham (Dakota Smith) - who sent along a copy of his children's book which he also signed!! 😊
  20. Their strength was in creating some memorable characters played by terrific actors (John, Hank, Lauri, Toni, Alan, Margo, Ann, the reintroduction of Penny, to name a few) - but long range story planning was not one of their strengths. It's a shame, given the talent they had to work with. I could not agree with you more about the flashbacks. They were indeed endless and the effects they used on them looked like bad acid trips. 😝
  21. Sharon's main problem - and Piers Morgan's as well - is the inability to let go of grudges. She still trashes HRP and Leah Remini a decade after they were fired and replaced by Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler (the latter had a very strained relationship with Sharon as well).
  22. Speaking of Cleveland's own Lynda Hirsch, here's video of her from January 1982 on the late, great program The Morning Exchange - which aired on our ABC affiliate WEWS Channel 5 from 1972-1999. Because the distance from CLE to NYC is so minimal, stars from East Coast ABC soaps often dropped in for interviews.
  23. Through the mail autograph success from Richard Backus (Barry Ryan):
  24. I just wish they would release more of the bonus materials of the interview sessions taken in NYC last January - just before the pandemic hit. It's been over a year - what are they waiting for?
