  1. I would say all of them. To me, it's a cheap, cavalier plot device.
  2. Do you think they would have worked well together had he stayed?
  3. Those promos are great!! Thanks for the links.
  4. Seeing Jada on Alan Locher's chats for TD, I wish he would do one for TSS. It would be so fun to see a virtual reunion between Jada and Marla Adams - the show's ultimate rivals.
  5. I still can't believe it's been that long. Remember, she was originally intended for Jax in that stupid story about the dead man's hand? 😝
  6. That had to be the highest low point in the show's entire run!!!!
  7. Like so many other vets on GH, she was allowed to rust on the bench. Shameful. 😡😡😡😡😡
  8. That sounds like a great character - and story. I wish more was available of Audrey's time away from Steve. It sounds like she had some very interesting stories, and I bet Rachel Ames played the heck out of them all.
  9. It's really mind-boggling how many misspellings, especially of actors' names, showed up in the soap press in those days. Did the publications have no access to proofreaders??? 🤯
  10. You forgot that voice! If she had stayed next season, only dogs would be able to hear her.
  11. I think part of that has to do with Hank Cheyne looking a bit older than he really was, both on AW and SUN. He and Ellen Wheeler are three years apart in age, from all the online sources I could find (born in 1958 and 1961, respectively).
  12. Yes, Silkwood came out in 1983 so that's probably why.
  13. I still remember the moment Alan saw Rick in the halls of GH in 2002. The look on his face just screamed, "You've got to be kidding me!" 😂 I know Chris Robinson was brought back to facilitate Genie Francis' exit, but what a horrible story. Everyone involved deserved better.
  14. I did not like the second Capwell mansion set. The first one was so authentic to California and to the Capwells themselves. I think as the show went into the 1990s, almost all of the sets became homogenized - which is a shame.
  15. Thanks for sharing these additional treasures. No offense to Michelle Phillips, but I would have LOVED to see Cher as Ruby!! The entire trajectory of her career might have been different had she accepted SFT.
  16. Exactly. I wonder if they included the same garish visual effects for flashbacks as they did on TD!!
  17. That should be an interesting chat!! Were ATWT and SB the only soaps she was on?
  18. Yup, that's another one that was phased out fairly early on.
  19. Of course, we will never forget her various catchphrases over the years...🙄😝🤣😂
  20. @dragonflies, thanks for posting those photos. Sherrod Brown is a senator from my state (OH). Those are chilling. In other "news", T**** the Attention Whore has announced that he is going to sue Twitter, FB, Google, YouTube, etc., for banning him. Why won't he just go away? Hasn't he caused enough problems? 😡😡😡😡😡
  21. I don't know about that, but that was used as a title of a soap-within-a-soap on RH in 1980-81.
  22. I don't get that. HG had become one of the signature matriarchs on daytime by that point. You'd think the people who were casting commercials then would have jumped at the chance to book Helen. The mind boggles!
  23. Such sad news. Interestingly, I read that Philece got the call from AW telling her she had won the role of Donna while she was at home watching SB!! (I wonder how she would have been on SB!!) God rest her. 🙏❤
