Yeah, a very good season...getting my cousin back into it. It was so good. I am very disappointed with Jacqueline. I wanted her back after her first season, her first reunion, and the Battle of Receipts, but she was a major letdown this season. And a flop this reunion. I was so shocked. With the filming for next season starting at the end of this month, I don't see it for Karen. Perhaps next season. I think they are just banking on since people are used to Shamea a la Marlo before her in a FOH pre-HW role, that people will be more willing to follow her along. Is that a compliment to Gizelle. 😜 But I agree. Even though Old Her popped out at the reunion, I am curious to see where she goes from here. Same about Jassi. She got so little at the reunion and ran with it. Love her.

I agree. Since yesterday, she has been showing Hayley with more grit and backbone, and I've enjoying it because it shows she's building on her character. I love when actor/ess do that. It's going to be good to see her bouncing off other characters going forward I suspect. Same.

Same. And goodness knows they would have both been good and messy. lol. Mmmmm probably not, but I like them all the same. Though I was hoping Dani would loop back once Andre/Ashley/Derek were off and running. I'll take it. A carefree (but understanding of each other) no strings attached couple? One that might be there for each other or just a safe space. I'm down for it. They do exist in real life. Or did. Clearly I can relate. hehe.

And knowing Guza he is doing just that. It just occurred to me last night that with Guza there, we do have a writer who can do EVENTS to get people talking. And flow is going good right now just out of the gate for the show. By May Sweeps, I feel it will be flowing perfectly in terms of writing/plot/character development. It would be delicious if Guza does an event for BTG with well-paced aftermath and consequences that blows GH out of the water.

Very much so. It was nice to see how Bill/Dani were. And a nice contrast to Bill/Hayley. I expected it re: Andre/Dani. But so immediately? YES, PLEASE. They were a highlight last week...r&b music and all.

No Silk Pressed Sheila? But I liked this episode. Nothing really happened, but I did love that they continued to play the fallout from Friday's cliffhanger as well as flesh out more of the characters. Is it wrong that when I think press conferences that I immediately thought of Karen Huger and hers from RHOP? lol. Because that was how this press conference came across. And I loved that the Dupree continue to be all united front out in public, but divisive behind closed doors. It's quite old school black family for me. And I still can't believe that Bill crashed the conference and tried to sway the press. As if the Duprees aren't THE family in that community. Good to see Dani with a gun dealt with in the end so she can just keep moving through plot. And so many little things came out of it. Bill and Hayley having internal conflict over Bill's need to hold on to the Dupree influence vs Hayley wanting them to have their own path. Vernon being boss...which Anita has been up 'til now as the heavy, but it's nice to see they can do it equally. And of course, the fleshing out of the Martin/Smitty relationship. What a jerk. Dani suuuure looped back around to Andre sooner than expected. lol. But I like the two of them together so good. And for me, I could care less about Ashley/Derek today. Good moving of the pieces with some resolution to the current main arc.

Well Melissa should be filming soon per SoD I believe so it will be interesting to see where that goes.
