  1. So true. I wish they would just decide from the start so they can try to form a cohesive (but fun) season. Things like this will only derail it. And I know they will be acting up to get that flower. Well...Wendy did try to warn her at the reunion. lol. I cannot wait to see what Stacey does...and where Wendy falls in the mess.
  2. Same. It's another case of Passing the Peach Flower. A shame Production just can't trust their gut. I thought about posting because I know Jassi has plenty of fans over here, but I didn't want to get anyone too excited...? How you feel about the fact everyone is coming for Stacey so far if rumors can be believed?
  3. IKR. I hollered just now. I totally agree. Even now the Doug/Joey/Vanessa storyline is moving from C to B and doesn't even touch on the crooked cop part of Joey's storyline. It's similar to what they did with Martin's secret...just idling on the backburner all of Month 2 until this month regaining a build to it. I feel the same about the crooked cop storyline. And I can't wait for the police fundraiser. Hoping to see more of Jacob's family then as well.
  4. LOL. Great minds.
  5. I wouldn't be too worried. I've noticed that this show is VERY good at bringing back up a story/plot thread right as someone mentions it on this board. Most soaps might drop or forget one, but this show always loops back around and tries its best to not insult the audience's intelligence. Heck, we still have Anita's police fundraiser to look forward to, and it has not been mentioned in...mmmm...a month?
  6. Sometimes them himbos are needed. 😜
  7. I mean...I saw a clip and that Willow's hair was pretty.
  8. Which RC isn't above doing so thank goodness that was not the case.
  9. Well for long. ETA: Then again, JM does work out when there's a love scene coming up. Hmmm.
  10. Lol. For one...that jacket was off. For another...the costume designer went for comfortable BUT form fitting at the same time. For another...I guess JM is working out again cuz he looked yummy. That said...yep. BtG suuuuuure do.
  11. Same as me. So you already know what's coming as soon as I sit down to start watching this week.
  12. 5-19 You know what? I actually didn't dislike it as much the second time around. But tbf, I didn't hate it the first time either. It's already been established so far that RC's breakdowns can be pretty hit or miss. And I would say his average so far on this show has been 50/50. Outside of Jacob vs Silk Press Sheila, it was all B/C plots. However, I got the sense that there was plot movement...something for better or for worse, RC does know how to do. And even within those plots, I felt there were so good character development moments. What really stood out for me was Doug and Vanessa's last scene. FINALLY, they stopped dancing around it. And we got more information on what their arrangement truly is in terms of their marriage. Given the building toward it through Vanessa's sexacapedes and Doug's gambling storyline, it felt earned. And lest we forget...he still didn't tell her about his addiction nor what's going on with Joey. Meanwhile, Dani is slowly getting clues from seeing Vanessa with Joey one episode to seeing Doug in the middle of the afternoon on this episode. I don't see it as them shoving her into a storyline unlike Carly on GH if an example is needed, but it wasn't exactly organic either. Then again, the Vanessa with Joey scene was organic. Not the gambling stuff. I did like it though. It was a nice spotlight for the Dani/Pamela friendship. And I also liked the idea that was mentioned about a Pamela vs Vanessa feud. After all, regardless of what's written on the page, they both appear on screen to be close to Dani. And I find it relatable to see two friends have issues when they are close friends to the same person, but NOT to each other. And their scene with Diego was ripe with tension. Just cuz...HEY, DIEGO, HEY!! lol. I loved Jacob vs SilkPress. The web that girl stays weaving continues to be fascinating to watch. I know we have discussed at length about how long SilkPress can stay on the canvas. As soon as it's figured out what she's done with Laura and allegedly Eva/Kat, it's OVER. And such a soap find...it's fascinating to watch a crafty villainess worming her way around getting caught. Which is giving old school soap. I also love that in her worming her way out of the charges, no one is being dumbed down to keep her on the canvas. So this next turn in the story is great, refreshing, and probably should be studied by other soaps. I enjoyed Dani and Andre. Again, it has had a build. And technically if we are going there, it's about to be three months. Usually three months is the perfect time to start having the 'what are we' conversation...whether someone is casually dating or just being a booty call. And that look Andre gave Dani when she said Bill's name...oooooo he's finally over her talking about him and showing a sign of possessiveness. It's also not lost on me that his reaction to her saying her reasons...was to leave. Big uh oh for them. Where will Dani/Andre go next? Well...look who got comfortable enough in his role that he gave some good acting aka Tomas. I liked the scenes with Tomas and Kat on a second watch. But I don't think Kat's wrong with what she said. She's so busy and focused on Eva though, she's ignoring red signs with him I am afraid. And speaking on comfortable...look at Derek trying to act. lol. Personally, I thought both actor and actress did good jobs. And again, it's had enough of a build, you knew it was coming. And I'm surprised to type it, but I was Team Derek for that argument. He was trying to make her feel better, and it just made things worse. And Ashley was being unsufferable. How was he to know about the curry? And of course, she runs right into Andre. Decent cliffhanger though I'm a firm NO to Andre/Ashley versus me being open to it at the start of the show. Wow...how things have changed.
  13. Or the typical soap himbo.
  14. 5-15 OMFG!!!! Dayyyyyummm Nick!!! I see the costume designer pinpointed that fitted outfit all the way down for me. WOOF!!! And Audra in the yellow dress. When she sashayed into Crimson Lights in that yellow looked hot AF, even I did a double take. ZS was giving. I kinda like Claire's, Nikki's and Victoria's outfits, but those ZS and JM fits were the standouts for me. That said...for an episode where nothing really happened...I actually enjoyed it for the first time this week as a whole. I guess it has the slight hint of plot movement. Nikki and Victoria being worried that Claire didn't want to move in with Kyle. Kyle being a little toooooooooo flirty for my liking with Audra and fall of double entrendres with her AND Claire...signaling he is so about to do something stupid. And then there was Jack, Diane, and Kyle's pow-wow and figuring out that Victor was behind Audra's company. Then there was just Holden stalking Audra per usual. Audra scheming is always going to be fun. And I do hope she best Kyle. Well at least without actually sleeping with him. I am wondering how Holden will factor into that whole triangle now. Wild card?
  15. Same. I don't hate him for it, but Ashley ain't doing him any favors.
  16. Come on in! The water (and my comments which you know how I write from the HW Thread ) is fine!!! I am sure my comments should help you along nicely. And I think you know better than most, I can be fair. But I can't remember if you were for or against slow burns...cuz Month 2 is full of them. As for characters, I do feel you will love Eva and the SilkPress. And Nosy Nurse since you love Housewives. I feel it's done a good job of giving old school soap, but modernizing it at the same time. Beats ARE getting hit. There's A story (The SilkPress storyline being the best paced so far), B plots, and even C plots. The show is still finding its rhythm, but I don't out and out hate anyone and everyone has gotten time to shine. ANNNND it is having the best May Sweeps so far from what I've viewing (I am behind on DAYS though and GH and I are on break mostly). But...I agree with others. It has been VERY subjective up in here so you should come in and make up your own mind. I of course, look forward to your thoughts.
  17. Oh? Novels you say? Intriguing. Some would say the header might have been a sign it could be a bad episode. 😜 I don't think I was as bored as everyone else with this episode, but I'll see how I feel after a rewatch. Heck, the actor playing Tomas even showed up and seem more comfortable. Actually so did the actor playing Derek.
  18. High praise. At last...? *cough*CVE*cough*
  19. Tbf, just about...if not all the episodes...involving RC and DP have a character fixated on something. Cat. Photo album. This time...tatts.
  20. OMG! Again? lol. Happy for him though.
  21. Yep. lol. Pretty much.
  22. He might just be. lol. Cuz the 5-14 episode was a masterpiece. In more ways than one.
  23. 5-16 Build, build, build. So much of it going on and not bored by any of it. A story continued to be the fallout from the SilkPress/Eva reveal. And I'm happy to see that the fallout made it all the way through the week with C plots being built up to B plots. And then little subplots (Dani's business, Vanessa and her roleplaying games) to keep in mind. Now that I've watched it several times...all I can think of seeing Silk Press Sheila with NuTed is hmmmm. Honestly, while I felt Trish and Maurice had chemistry, I always felt character-wise that SilkPress and Maurice's Ted would never get back together. At most, I could see them having hate sex. However, SilkPress with Keith's Ted...how to word this...I feel like...in spite of all of her scheming...she has a chance of getting him back given how Trish and Keith interact with each other. And I feel like she's giving 90s DAYS Sami Brady with Austin Peck's Austin where Sami would be playing it to the hilt and Austin...even when he knew better...would STILL be falling for her tricks. Or even when Sami would be somewhat redeemed and he had a 'right' to like her, it would end badly cuz she did something. That was the vibe I got from the SilkPress/NuTed scenes. Keith's Ted definitely came across as a romantic lead in a triangle versus Maurice's Ted where even though he messed up, I saw him only having eyes for Nicole. So...Hmmmmmm. Mind you, I don't see Keith's Ted as stupid/dumb like Austin Peck's version of Austin on DAYS. Kat being on the case and looking into Laura's accident and giving her recording to Jacob also continue to spin the story into its next logical direction...even if Kat has it tagged on the wrong person. The walls may be closing in on SilkPress, but like she said a while back...she still has tricks up her own sleeves. And I just know the rivalry between Kat and Eva ain't over so this is just another match to the fire. And it'll be good to see Jacob in cop mode. Then Nicole still dealing with her own feelings and wanting to sell the house. Good scenes with her and Vanessa. And while that was all going on...the plots around them... 1) MARTIN'S SECRET. I have enjoyed how Bill's little seed has been growing in Smitty's mind. And Smitty's being in reporter mode. His scenes with Nicole to see if he was right to be second guessing himself was well-done. I didn't get it at first viewing, because I would think he would be happy that Martin backed down. But I'm seeing it through his reporter eyes, and I get it. And of course, I live for Smitty's scenes with Bill. And Bill is just getting too much glee with messing with Martin and Smitty. 2) ANITA'S STORY. Yassss!!! Oh, Vernon...how I love you. I really enjoyed seeing him slowly coax Anita into calling yet another bandmate. I felt CD and TT were really giving how a relationship can be. And I enjoyed it. Of course, I enjoy that it's clear that Anita wears the pants in that relationship...not that Vernon don't have his moments. They just complement each other so well. 3)MS. JUNE. Outside of the fact that I thought that surgery happened too quickly, good to see her out of surgery. Not to mention seeing Nosy Nurse. Say what you want about her ability to get the tea, but she's really great at her job, and it's great to see. Well...Doug still has a week. Dani and Pamela are still working on a business. Vanessa is still playing. And it's nice to see those threads still around. But not a major focus yet. And it all still flowed. And of course...a Friday cliffhanger with Jacob taking Silk Press Sheila down to the station. So great week of soap overall for me. It doesn't seem like today's episode is going to be loaded on my system until tomorrow. But I guess that is what apps are for.
  24. RHOA So I see Andy is already asking for reunion questions. Don't tell me Shady Phae Phae is only around for 5 episodes? SLC If I'm not mistaken, I believe they are done filming. Either that or I'm thinking of OC.
