How many ways can 45 embarrass us during this Middle East trip?

Yes, but it helps too be rich too.

Good thing. THis is what the democrat have been asking for. He's going to have open access to anything he needs, ability to investigate, subpoena, hire investigators, and prosecute. He has a fairly stellar reputation. I believe he was asked by Obama to stay on beyond his 10 year term. Thank God. Even if we're stuck with Pence for 3 years I'll take it.

Yep. Who knew all this crazy was lurking in our society? I keep reminding myself he did not win the popular vote.

I wonder if he ever really did? I think there were a lot of wealthy Jewish donors and Israeli politicians who hoped to use Trump. A deal with the Devil so to speak. I think Netanyahu and Trump were close to an unholy alliance that would have had potentially awful consequences, so if this intelligence betrayal throws a wrench in this we are all better off. Like @DramatistDreamermy husband thinks Netanyahu is an extremist. I'm less sure or at least I'm more sympathetic to people trying to govern is a country with constant terrorist attacks. Is it possible to govern justly and keep your population safe? I think Trump has inadvertently saved BN from his worst impulses though. Moving that damn embassy to Jerusalem would have been nothing but trouble. I also saw an article today lamenting Bernie keeping the door open to a run in 2020 when he will be 79 years old. I like Sanders more than some here, but I think he needs to step aside and support someone younger, for so many reasons.

^ Wow. This is just next level insanity. We really can't go on much longer like this can we?

If this is true he basically got a source within Isis killed. Not to mention alienating all of our allies. Can this administration get any more f*cked up? A question I ask myself daily.

^ By believing that you have everything you have because you worked for it and that you never had a lucky break or help. Remember how crazy some people got when Obama talked about people being lucky? These people really believe they did it all themselves and are entitled and so they aren't going to help anyone else. I have so much disdain for everyone with that attitude.

So true. I said something like this a couple of months ago and it's still getting worse by the day. Also, I sure do remember. Whenever the press references "The President" I still think of Obama first and then I remember, like a bad dream, that's not who they mean.

^You'll be happy to know Bernie hurt more than he helped. Like I mentioned before, Jean used that endorsement to trash Mello in her ads. 'Socialist Bernie Sanders endorses my opponent. That's not Nebraska values'.

What kind of CEO allows his own employee's to investigate him? Can this administration get any more insane?

Not only do I not feel sad, I'm thrilled. He's getting what he deserves, imo. Then again, now we have to fear who comes next, so I guess I shouldn't be too happy.

I'm thrilled France rejected the crazy, but at the same time 33% of voters agreed with Le Pen. That's not insignificant. I have to admit I wasn't paying attention to how much of a hold the far right was getting in the west until Trump started gaining ground in the Republican primary. Of course, I had heard the rumblings from occasional articles, but I didn't get it until these nutjobs started coming closer than they ever should have to gaining power.

Here is a guide to some things we can do to help stop this atrocity. http://www.indivisibleguide.com/stop-trumpcare/ Robert Reich posted this, which I find hopeful and didn't realize: To become law, Trumpcare has to go through 4 additional steps: 1. Pass an amended version in the Senate 2. Go to “conference“ to hammer out differences between the House and Senate 3. Pass in the House again 4. Pass in the Senate again

The Politics Thread
No. It has to pass the Senate and there are a lot of people who think it won't. There is still hope, but we have to call, write and let them know we are watching. Do not give up.

^ I detest these people more than I ever thought possible. One thing I'll say about Elizabeth Warren is she makes a good attack dog. Not sure I want her to run in 2020, but I like her where she is right now.

Even though this could suck for me, I'm kind of glad. People with jobs and money tend to have more power than poor people, so let this bill mess with everyone's insurance, so they (we) have to wake up already.

^ I may be wrong, but I feel like they can't really touch the Obamas in the same way as the Clintons. First because neither of them will be running for office again, but also because they are well loved by a large percentage of the population. Plus the Obamas have a much better reputation then the Clintons. Fair or not, they just do. As for the speeches, I'm with Debbie Wasserman Shultz. It's no one's business. I truly don't get why Elizabeth Warren or anyone else feels the need to comment on what a private citizen does. If Wall Street is dumb enough to pay someone nearly half a million dollars for one speech, I say take that money. Who wouldn't?

That makes sense. The Obamas donate 2 million for summer jobs in Chicago. Not that I think they owed anyone this, but it still make me happy. http://thehill.com/homenews/news/331788-obamas-donating-2m-to-chicago-summer-jobs-programs

^ What a great sound bite for ISIS recruitment. Killing Muslims as entertainment for rich Americans. I used to sort of look down my nose at people who said they are embarrassed at being American, but the Trump administration certainly has made me more sympathetic to those who feel that way.

F*ck him. My first instinct is to bring up children, but no. It doesn't matter how old someone is, they should be able to get the healthcare they need, instead of getting moral judgement from some arrogant jackass.
