9/17. I need more EJ/Johnny scenes.

I still can't get over that GH wants us to believe that this Spinelli-lookalike (lol) was the winner in a love triangle over Chase. CHASE!!! On what planet does this man not get the girl? Give me a break. More unbelievable writing. LOL

Hasn't Kristina been a bartender for awhile now? I think she dropped out of college. Not that we ever see her, so it's hard to remember what's going on. Julian gave her a job there at some point, I think at the beginning of Mike's Alzheimer's story, because I remember Mike really liked going there. I think her working at Charlie's is how she ended up meeting the people from Dawn of Day? Can we get rid of him and give his airtime to Kristina?

Wow, I don't remember Belle with JPL's Philip at all. Gross. I must've blocked that out. I actually forgot that JPL even played Philip until now, lol. This must've been an awful time for the show because I've completely forgotten all of these stories.

I just like that Lani and Eli are relatively normal people (for a soap) and are a stable couple with a cute little family. I know that happy/stable/normal = boring on soaps but I like them. I don't think they're too boring for being a happy couple and I'd much rather watch them than most of the current couples on the show. Plus I always love when Eli reacts to the crazy sh-t that goes on in Salem. I want to see him react to Doug being possessed. 😂

I don't remember Lani/Rafe either! LOL. I guess I really don't remember that first stint. I do remember the stuff with JJ when she came back. I actually like Lani now and like her with Eli, but clearly I didn't care about her when she first came on, because I don't remember any of her stories!

Wow, why do I have no recollection of Lani and Shawn together? Was this a backburner romance that got no airtime? What was their story?

He's just a troll. Nobody in their right mind thinks that a YouTube "career" is onward and upward, especially when Freddie's videos only get about 1000 views each. Nor is anybody in their right mind paying money to watch "exclusive" YouTube content of Freddie and his wife. The stuff they post for free isn't even good. Maybe if you pay the monthly fee you get to hear Freddie talk some more about how he's jealous of Zach Tinker? 😂 Today's show looks so boring that I don't even have the motivation to turn it on.

I did get a genuine laugh out of Carly asking Sonny WTF he was wearing. I wish he had shown up in a cowboy hat. The Sonny/Carly scenes actually weren't bad today but I can't get over how lame this story is. And Kristina gets to make her annual appearance now that Sonny is back. I enjoyed seeing Sonny reunite with his kids. Let's get Phyllis to Port Charles! I want to see Sonny thank her for everything. 🥰 I hate how nice Chase is to Michael/Willow. Another story that is completely devoid of drama and had zero consequences. I loved Brooklynn saying that they're too civil and need halos. For real! Bring on ChaLynn! The Metro Court pool is already closed? It just opened! LOL. The writers are reading my posts! I used the word "barnacle" to describe Esme awhile back. 😂 LOL at Joss saying Spencer can't go anywhere without her. It's so true. Why can't he just have *one* episode without her? Lol at Spencer saying he's not just apologizing because he's scared Joss will push him in the pool if he doesn't. I also laughed at Joss implying she could make Esme disappear. Trina is in possession of the Port Charles brain today! "Hell yes you and Spence are a team." Queen Trina just figured out all on her own that Spencer and Esme are stalking Ava together.

It's so lame. I cannot believe how poorly this storyline is being handled. This should've been huge and we're getting nothing. I'm interested in seeing how the Spencer/Trina stuff plays out, but at least things are actually happening in this story. There's at least some soapy drama going on here. That's more than I can say about most of the current stories. Peter gives Victor an ultimatum? Really? Why can't he just go away?

This was the one bright spot of yesterday's episode. I laughed when he was just like, "Franco is dead? No loss."

I'll give the writers credit where it's due - it takes real skill to completely suck the drama out of a storyline where Sonny dies then comes back and finds out that Jason and Carly are married... but man, they did it. There's absolutely nothing to see here. I still can't believe that they just had Sonny casually stroll into the bedroom at the beginning of the episode on a Tuesday. WTF. There should've been a huge Friday cliffhanger with him crashing the wedding, then on Monday we'd have all the people close to Sonny trying to process him being alive, and have Sonny wondering why Jason and Carly are getting married. But no... Sonny's return apparently doesn't even warrant a cliffhanger on any day of the week. Nor does it warrant a big event. He really just strolled into the bedroom like he just got back from the grocery store. I mean at least have him catch Jarly f-cking! My god. Where's the drama?! This should be such a huge storyline and they are messing up literally every aspect of it. I'm not even particularly a fan of these characters and I'm appalled by how this story is being written.

I love Johnny and Chanel. She looked so good today. Their little makeout session that Allie interrupted looked hot. I love their chemistry. Johnny is charming. Exorcist and chill, lol. Marlena calls a code blue on Doug and Tripp and Kayla just slowly stroll to her office. Okay. Let's have the devil take over Tripp's body for a day. Dude has nothing to do besides play doctor and be Allie's doting boyfriend. Are we really back to the other version of the show tomorrow where it's Gabi/Jake/Philip/Brady/Chloe and what not? Ugh.

Right? This will probably end up being like Chase/Michael/Willow where Chase just instantly forgave everyone and everyone got along and there were no consequences. So boring.

Yep. The show refuses to do drama. This should've been huge. Instead we got a happy Jarly wedding with the whole town wishing them well, no big cliffhanger with Sonny, and instead he just reveals himself at home on a Tuesday afternoon. Completely anticlimactic. Kudos to GH for managing to make this boring.

Brad was adopted but is the biological son of Kim Wu. I'm not sure what his exact relation to the badass Ms. Wu is, but a relation exists. I wish GH would tell a story with them.

The Jarly wedding/reception was so boring. A total disappointment. These two had an entire wedding and reception with no drama, no objections... just the whole town wishing them well and smiling while they danced? Really? Oh, the two day player mobsters blew up. YAWN! Horrible writing. Just an all around fail. Willow catching the bouquet = GAG. Lol, Diane wants to dance with Brando. Where's Ms. Wu's contract? I still want them to get Brad out of prison and explore his Wu roots. Maxie and Austin = FAIL! I'm not sure what exactly they're going for here, but whatever it is, it ain't working! Honestly I'd rather see her back with Spinelli. And Maxie's outfit is hideous. She's supposed to be the town fashionista? Chase looked so hot today. Him with that baby = ovary explosion. Woohoo, Chase is trying to get an annulment from Wallow. Chase is glad that they got married though, HUH? 🙄 Bring on ChaLynn! Aren't there a ton of guards at the Corinthos house? How did no one see Sonny come in? LOL Me when Wes Ramsey shows up on screen 🙄 Let's see what ridiculous reason they come up with for why Anna doesn't immediately kill him.

I actually watched DAYS before GH today because I was so excited about Devil Doug. OMG, I was screaming when he made the lights go out and his eyes were glowing! Yes yes yes. Bill Hayes is killing it. I'm really enjoying the casting of Carson Boatman as Johnny. Love the twins together. LOL at Johnny reading Will's script and just being like, "No wonder nobody wanted to produce this." Nice surprise to see Will again today. Chandler's kitchen looks good. I keep waiting for Zach Tinker to pop up in the background... 😁 I didn't need Kate/Mumbles on today.

How is this even a promo? This is just the Friday cliffhanger we already saw.

He is putting out amazing performances. I've actually been rewatching Doug scenes because he's just so good and so fun. I can't wait to see the continuation of his scenes with Marlena. I'm just floored that this man is 96. He is an absolute treasure. I have to say that I appreciate how Days is using their older cast. What other soap has a front burner story featuring a 96 year old, plus John, Marlena, and Julie. And look how much airtime Abe has been getting. The man has a romance and storyline. I'd rather watch these characters than a lot of the younger cast, so I'm glad they're getting something substantial to do.

Eden is funny, lol, I laughed at Esme being in the trunk. I have to say that I enjoy how the GH teens use social media. No politics, no drama. They just post fun stuff about the show and support each other. Some of their older coworkers should take note.

You're trying way too hard to start drama on this board. Who's being cranky in this thread? The overall response to this promo has been positive here. Time to go back to your other superior soap boards that you keep talking about.
