Yes...I'm all for balance. I think having a dinner party / social gathering per episode is over kill. Season 2 Miami had a good balance of both as did season 4 and 5 of OC plus season 1 of BH.

I don't think it will...she'll actually.be doing what the housewives of lore did...showcase their day to day stuff. These franchises.have too many group outings...I'd rather see them in their own lives with their own friends without any of the women..and save the group.outings for the big.vacations only.

The first episode is always tame...re establishing the ladies again..and introducing new ladies as well. I liked how shannon and Lizzie were introduced in the OC so hopefully Claudia will get the same intro

I am surprised Atlanta doesn't get a new opening... I kinda miss the families being I. The background in Atlanta... kandi, Phaedra, and Cynthia still feature their kids and.husbands..

I agree that Carleton seemed down market..but joyce seemed too classy for the show. And if you want to talk about down market...what about Brandi? Talk about down market.

I understand having a pet is good for people with addictions..but I think Kim would have been better with a smaller, already trained dog. I get why Eileen and Lisa want to do the show.. I guess...but this isn't a show that will show u in the best light....and Eileen has a great image and I have a feeling it will.be tarnished a bit

I think the don't try to figure me out line would work best on Claudia.

I.hope Lisa R and Eileen get some great intro lines. I'm curious s to why Eileen is choosing to do the show though...hasn't she watched the show.before...lol

I'm for the drama.. but lets focus it with fun moments, plus day to day activites of the housewives. Yolanda with modeling, Eileen on Y & R, Lisa V with her restaurants and Ken/Jiggy, Lisa R dealing with teen daughters, Kyle as a mom.... Kim/Brandi should be friends of instead of full time housewives... I'm for the drama.. but lets focus it with fun moments, plus day to day activites of the housewives. Well I guess any hope of a season where the housewives aren't resorting to fights and physical altercations is dashed Still Brandi might be right about Eileen being a.home wrecker, but that pales in comparison to the trashy exploits of Brandi....tampons anyone? Lol Lisa r is highly sensitive so I figured she would crack.

It says seven are coming back to film season 7 for NY, but it doesn't mean all seven will be holding that apple. It depends on if they are interesting or not.

I see heather and bethanny butting heads...I do recall Kelly and Carole getting along when they met during season 6 filming. I kinda think they should retitle the shows since non married women are on the show now. Plus, let's just change these shows from reality to scripted.,

I'm wondering if filming for BH was extended due to the fact that thy were getting along for several weeks.. didn't drama just start last month? I know season 5 of NY had that problem and just.as the drama started..filming was almost over...and the women refused to.extend filming..or so were the rumours at the time.

No need for Jill to return to RHONY.. that bridge burned with her interview with Mr. Cohen. That said Bethanny vs. Heather will be epic.. plus Bethany has history with both Luann and Ramona... while I'm wondering where Carole/Kristen will fall on that conflict. From what I read.. when Kelly B made a visit, she and Carole got along well (not what I would have expected).. so anything is possible. still can't believe no trailer for BH yet. I heard a rumour that all five housewives would be back for season 10 of OC.. with the possibility of one new addition. Any truth or still rumour? I hope that Gretchen/Slade's appearance on WWHL isn't an indication of them possibly being back on the show? Last season proved they weren't needed nor wanted.

I'm not sure what the point of the Evelyn Marsh storyline was.. was it pre-planned.. or a last minute addition due to other stories being shelved (Cooper/Audrey) or resolved quicker then planned (Laura Palmer's murder mystery). I actually think the Nadine story had some potential. Didn't she attempt to kill herself at the end of season 1? Perhaps when she didn't succeed, she mentally flashed back to her teen years pre-marriage and pre-eye patch to relive? Sadly, the show treated the story like a farce when it had some potential for psychological study of Nadine. A shame that she remembered who she was just as Big Ed/Norma became engaged... I wonder how that story would have resolved itself. Also, I think Lucy/Andy were cute as a background story.. but were never meant to be a main story as we saw with the whose the daddy plot the show focused on in season 2. Though I have to admit i did enjoy Lana.. the black widow in training in season 2:) I do think Josie's story ended at the right time, there was no where else you could go with her character especially the way the show wrote her into a corner in the mid section of season 2. Plus, I think Catherine was kind of wasted in the second half of season 2 after her return from the dead. As I said before, Annie had potential if she wasn't bought on as a replacement for Audrey in the Cooper story. I think the story they had for Audrey in the second half of season 2 didn't fit her at all.. though I did like the brief interaction between her/Shelly/Donna after Windom Earle started sending all three notes. Shelly also seemed in limbo the second half of the second season though I think I did like her brief flirtation with the detective (David lynch's character) who showed her that she deserved a guy who valued her.. since I think Leo/Bobby both abused her (Leo physically and Bobby emotionally).

I can't watch the reruns, but does EH play Althea differently then she did as Lucinda? Meaning.. is Althea as OOTT as Lucinda was.. etc.

Well LFB caused the second half of season 2 to derail.. and the show frantically had to rewrite the planned Cooper/Audrey story.. quickly introduce a replacement character Annie, etc. I think Audrey being held hostage by Windom Earle in the Black Lodge would have had more impact then Annie did... I did read somewhere that Annie's backstory would have been explored had there been a season 3.. along with Audrey surviving the bomb blast.. and I think Leo wouldn't have survived his situation. Is it true that Sheryl Lee would have been a third character had there been a season 3?

What made Shelly so popular? On paper, you would think she was just a supporting character at most. Is it due to Amick's appeal?

Problem with Jersey this season was that it seemed like I was watching several different shows.. where none of the parts fit together. Dina's show was more the old format of housewives with her day to day life with her daughter, assitant, being a friend to teresa, etc. Theresa G. was trying to paint a picture of her and her hubby trying to soldier on.. but the problem was that she and hubby were at fault.. Bravo miscalculated this one.. and I don't understand how one could be surprised at the backlash. I'm not exactly sure what Melissa was trying to present.. except it was a weird hybrid of the old and new format of the housewife franchise.. that didn't exactly fit. The jersey twins and Amber were acting as if they were in a spoof of a bad Jersey show. To make matters worse, producers quickly inserted scenes of Jacqueline/Kathy/Rosie and it felt like a whole new show altogether. I admit I was annoyed at producers editing the second half of season 9 of the OC.. but at least they got 18 episodes (not including reunions/lost footage).. and there was a coherent story thread or two.. along with scenes of the housewives with family/friends. But after seeing the mess that was season 6 of Jersey... OC season 9 was flawless editing wise in comparison.

That's odd that Atlanta isn't doing new opening shots (except for Claudia.. I'm assuming)... while OC does a new one every season. I wonder why that is?

I always wondered if the Annie character that dropped in at the last minute might have worked if she wasn't the love interest of Cooper? I still believed had the show returned the next year that she would have been revealed as Norma's daughter, not sister.... hence all the hostility between Norma and her mother. Probably would have been the reason why Big Ed and her broke up back then. I do think Amick will be back... cable shows have a different filming schedule then shows on traditional broadcast tv so it is possible for her to come back. Also, I'd love a mix of new and old characters... it has been twenty five years so I could totally see new characters coming into focus. The only thing is that I hope the Palmer family doesn't dominate.. though I do think Laura Palmer's murder changed the town forever.. and those effects could be felt with the next generation.. but I don't want it to dominate since so much time has passed.
