Is Greg Vaughn really the type to "terrorize" a set? 3. I agree with Mark Grossman and Courtney Hope. Maybe he's trying to be respectful with Sharon Case or Courtney doesn't want it "public" after her mess with Chad Duell? 4. Melody Thomas Scott jealous of Courtney Hope? 5. Doesn't Days have some "returns" for Christmas?

If there's never going to be anyone at Crimson Lights, they could at least turn that into a story for Sharon. CL is losing money and going into bankruptcy. What is Sharon going to do if she loses her sole purpose these days? Lean on Nick. Wax nostalgic about the past (use flashbacks). Have Genoa City residents hear of her plight and then start hanging out in CL to support Sharon (and use the set). Audra hanging around in the background with Sharon and Chance was just creepy.

If the show cut some of their cast: Chloe, Chelsea, Michael, Abby, Chance, for examples...they could afford a few $1500 extras now and then. The show doesn't need 40 characters to be compelling. (and therefore wouldn't need as many sets for all of them).

I thought Thorsten has said in interviews he wants an extended break. Like many months.

I try to watch now and then but everything seems disjointed. They have some great soapy stories going on but they're broken up so much that I forget about most of them lingering in the background. The hook. Victor's downfall. Willow's mom. Trina's dad. Esme with Nickolas and Elizabeth pulled in. The hook serial killer is a story that should be generating lots of buzz. It has been going on for how long? There have been no real stakes...until now with Rory. Yes, people have been attacked...but then the story disappears without movement for a week or two. Say what you will about DAYS, but when the show does a crazy story, they do it. I know the Hook is part of Trina's story, but it should have been more. GH has so many characters that could be taken down by the Hook. Do it up. What does the show have to lose at this point? If it wants to stay on network, it needs some buzz.

I hope this lasts as well, but I doubt it. Thorsten has been wanting to take an extended break for a while, correct? Perfect way to do it. If KKL wants a break, too, why not? Brooke doesn't want Ridge's mess. She doesn't need Deacon or Bill. Let her go "find herself" somewhere and Brooke can come back with a new leading man she found in Europe. Take the time to find the perfect casting that will actually have chemistry with her...and DO NOT put her in another triangle with Taylor. I would actually prefer a different Ridge as I've never been a fan of Thorsten. This would be a great time to "reboot" the show. If Ridge and Brooke take a hiatus. Finish up Sheila's story. Let Thomas leave town for a bit because he's a "black sheep" again. Move forward with Liam/Hope and Finn/Steffy without crossing into a triangle or quad. Bring Carter and Katie into focus with Bill's annoyance. Eric and Donna. Bring Felicia or Kristen back at Forrester.

AW: Disliked Steve Frame back from the dead in the form of David Canary. He just wasn't the right fit and trying to recreate the popular Rachel/Steve/Alice triangle with none of the original performers seems futile. The whole Shane Roberts/Bobby Reno debacle. Robert Kelker Kelly's character was a hot mess and had no real hope. Liked: Kathleen McKinnon and Carl Hutchins returning from the dead at the same time.

Sarah did have a memorable role, though truly under appreciated, on B&B coming between Ridge and Taylor. Wikipedia says she was considered for the role of Carly on GH in 2005. I wonder how that would have went.

AW is my show. I don't like the idea of throwing out an AW reference to pander to the audience. Maybe it's just me, but I find it cheap. IF P&G were actually going to let them use the character, that's one thing. We know they won't and I don't want Ron & Co. anywhere near my AW characters! To me, the whole ATWT fiasco never existed. To use Jake, Vicky, Cass, Lila, et all to try and get viewers tuned in just to kill off Jake and Vicky was inexcusable. It all taints the show. AW and its actors deserve better. (Much like bringing Laura Leighton onto the Melrose Place reboot just to kill her off. Yes, I'm bitter! And I digress...lol).

I think soaps gave up on that a long time ago. No one dies. The Devil hangs out whenever. Clones can be created and live their entire lifespan in a short period of time. Kids go from 2 to 12 to 32 in 10 years. Blindness, "terminal" diseases, drug addictions are cured in a couple of weeks and never talked about again. Someone can go from being an Asian to a white, southern girl (Blair, OLTL). Someone can blow up an apartment complex and then move in as a tenant before the dust has settled. (Kimberly, Melrose Place).

I'm glad to see that about Anne, but it just makes me wonder even more what the hell was going on that day?

I enjoyed that interview between Jared and "Sparky". The two had such potential. I loved them until the writers did the stupid uncle/not uncle story which I found to be a bit icky. (Then again...didn't the show do David/Tina who were brother/sister but not brother/sister). I will never understand why the show "killed" (sorry) Jared/Nat and Nash/Jess (Tess). That was a great quad! I enjoyed the show a lot then. John was my least favorite pairing for Natalie. I'd go Jared, Cris, Brody, and then John.

I never liked Joe as a character and was always confused with why Paulina was with him. Paulina had such a spark with Jake. I felt her and Joe were just boring. Vicky's "endgame" should have been with Ryan. PMV should have been brought back. With Ryan back on the force, Joe would be unnecessary.

Cass on AW? I always felt he was central in a lot of stories. Definitely his romances: Cecile, Kathleen, Frankie, Lila. Then his friendship with Felicia and being the Cory's attorney.

Brooke should have brought about a divorce from hell for Ridge. She could have gone after Forrester stock in a way that she takes over. He either lets her have Forrester or he gets to be with Taylor. This kind of drama would have been so much more fun to watch. Especially when Ridge finds out Brooke never made the phone call to begin with. Thomas would have caused his father to almost lose the family's company over Thomas's pettiness.

I thought Elizabeth said she ran away to Audrey's. Then when Jeff realized that she was with Audrey, he didn't interfere.

When on AW he was said to harass Sandi Ferguson (Amanda) to the point there was friction and she did not like working with him. I believe on DAYS, Kristian Alfonso and Lisa Rinna went to higher ups about his behavior there as well and didn't want to work with him anymore. Didn't he date someone underage at the time? He seems to have a "womanizer" reputation that causes problems. Hopefully, he'd be over that by now.

If I had someone around as whiny as Abby is all the time, I'd rather sit at a cafe alone instead of home, too.

I think he'd be better than Thorsten. I've never thought him to be someone that phone's it it. Would the B&B cast accept him though? He doesn't have the best of reputations. 😀

Sheila: I have nine lives. Deacon: Don't you mean nine toes? LMAO. I like when shows use flashbacks in a useful way. Not the repeated clip of Thomas and that damn phone pretending to be Brooke. Enough already.

AW: should have had Peter Love and Nicole Love. Especially if they were going to feature Vicky so much. (And it could have kept Anna Stuart on board, who was looking to leave at the time of cancellation.) Jamie Frame. Iris Wheeler. (Though I enjoyed Carmen Duncan. If not her returning, Iris should still have been on the canvas). GH: I'm shocked that Lucky and Lulu aren't on the canvas for Laura. Genie Francis is an icon for that show and deserves better story. B&B: I wish they'd recast Ridge. I've never liked the character since Thorsten took over. Thorne should be in the mix with Taylor/Brooke/Katie (and there needs to be someone new to forget about Ingo). Felicia and Rick should come back. i think Brooke should rally the troops and take down Steffy and Thomas at Forrester. Y&R: I'd like to see Tucker and Billy recast. Both of the actors for me bring down any scene they are in. I just don't think they fit. Jason Thompson doesn't even look like the rest. Yes, I know he's a "half-sibling", but so is Ashley and she still looks like Jack and Tracy. Trevor St. John can't play menacing. It comes off cartoonish.

AW: Best for me was Frankie/Cass/Kathleen when Kathleen returned from the dead. I was truly torn between the two as much as Cass was. Duds for me were Amanda/Sam/Olivia, Sofia/Nick/Maggie. I wasn't made to care about any of their relationships. I was a big Amanda and Sam fan at the start until Amanda got pregnant. Then it went down hill for me. After that, I didn't care.

I think B&B has the best chance to be successful on a streaming service. It's 30 mins and already has an international following. IF they kept it focused on high fashion and glamor with family drama, it would do well. NO ONE wants to watch the same triangles for decades. May be irrelevant, but I've been streaming Dark Shadows from the beginning on tubi. I have to say, I enjoy the quick 20 min segments. I can watch one while grabbing a lunch or before I go to bed. I also find it intriguing that the show would do episodes with only 4 actors a lot of the time while focusing mainly on one story that continues along. This could be a great way for current soaps to go. Less cost for a cast and easier for viewers to follow if it stays focused on one story at a time (with maybe hints here and there of stories to come.) Shows now seem to have 10 different stories going on depending on which actors they have to use for that episode.

I always thought the bookstore setting was such an odd fit for the show. Maybe it was the set itself. I just couldn't see someone that was supposed to be as glamorous as Felicia Gallant spending her days schlepping books around a bookstore. Felicia never worked for me when they tried to make her the everyday gal (i.e. her romance/marriage to Zane).

It would have made more sense for Carter to say something to the effect that Quinn got called away to Forrester International to work on some important new fashion line. Then he could say he's been missing her after they finally got together. Katie could still sympathize and feel bad for him. It would be far more like Quinn to put her career first than it does to just suddenly take off because she doesn't want to be married again. I mean, c'mon. It's a soap. People get married dozens of times.
