  1. Hello. I'm not sure how many are around from them but it's always nice to see other Tracy fans.
  2. It's a shame that Lucy was walled off and the writing was slipping enough to where I'm not sure she got to have much of a reaction to Carly/Tony.
  3. General Hospital April 10 1985 Finola Hughes first episode - YouTube
  4. Thanks. That sounds right.
  5. A Christopher Lloyd sitcom pilot from 1984. John Randolph as his father. This features soap alum such as Stanley Kamel and Deborah Goodrich. ABC Network - Old Friends (Complete-ish LOST Pilot Broadcast, 7/12/1984) 📺 - YouTube
  6. Thanks for sharing your memories of the show. There's an interview with Erika Slezak where she says Ernest Graves would have been rolling over in his grave if he'd seen what they did with Victor.
  7. I liked Teresa a lot on AMC, and she had played Gloria as a bad girl and later as a nut so I can see why she almost got the part. I do think she would have been a very bad fit for the whole cop story. SIgny was good at those harder elements, and may have been fine with the softer elements too if given a chance, but it was Cynthia Watros who made Annie such a spark for fans and critics, not the character. They should have waited much longer, or never brought her back. I think I preferred Sonia Satra (for my criticisms) over either of them - Hershey in particular annoyed me when they tried to make her the saint of PC. I'm not sure who I would have chosen as a recast. Maybe Marie Wilson as Harley or Lucy. She was being written out of ATWT around then wasn't she?
  8. That makes sense. Who was the nurse? Was it a character we knew?
  9. Thanks for keeping these going. I could not remember if Abby and Reva were still friends by this point. Glad to know they were. I also forgot Annie would still be there, although it makes sense as she had arrived in summer or fall 1998. Seems like longer as her only real story laid a quick goose egg.
  10. Thanks for this treasure @MissPalmer and thank you to @Vee for the tag. I know that one tiny fragment with Viki and Victor was around but I had never seen the rest. I sure as hell had never seen Jim Storm as Larry! @Paul Raven @slick jones @SFK @sunvsbanner @Maxim @mar4331 @alwaysAMC @CrazySexyQ @Kane @soapfave06 @Soaplovers @SoapDope78 @All My Shadows @cassadine1991 @Spoon
  11. I don't think Lucy fit the vision of JFP or Guza. PC did run for six years, so I doubt anyone at ABC would have blamed Lynn.
  12. I felt sad when I saw that Anna Stuart mentioned planning to leave AW if it hadn't been canceled. I can see why, given how she was used in the last years, but she was such a unique and compelling presence, and I think she was an underrated reason for why the show found some of its footing again in 1983/1984. I wasn't a huge Frankie fan, but Alice Barrett was a very strong actress, and the character was popular with viewers. Even worse, the way she was written out was sadistic and spiteful toward her fans.
  13. Thanks so much. I never would have seen this otherwise. Billy is such a talented actor and so beautiful too. He works all the time, but I hope he gets the kinder parts he wants. If we still had romcoms he would be so good in one.
  14. I can't either but it's one of those what if moments. Duke was such a huge part of Anna's character in the late '80s and never really again (unless you count that half-hearted return). @Franko I'd never seen Lynn on that show (admittedly I haven't watched a great deal of Mike Hammer). She seems to be styled a bit older. I enjoyed your writeup about the Quartermaine unraveling too. I wish they'd done more with Sean and Monica in later years.
  15. SNL's recent parody of The Pitt, which is more about some jabs at RFK Jr and his cult. Nothing that original, but with the thread bumped, may as well post it. Two cast members were asked to participate (Langdon and Isa Briones) but couldn't participate due to their filming schedule. They did watch the sketch at SNL as it aired. Someone at the Daily Show claimed this was ripped off from them. Not a new thing from SNL, but I hate the Daily Show and everything it stands for, so...eh.
  16. Thanks @Franko You certainly took a great deal of care with the week, making it seem packed (maybe more packed than it would have been watching live). I knew nothing about the Anna/Buzz relationship, so I appreciate all these details. I wonder what a world would have been like where they'd been a popular pairing and Duke hadn't existed. Would she still just end up back with Robert in 1991 and nothing about the character changed? Ruby line aside, the Mike story continues to sound exhausting and we aren't even at a custody battle yet. I am surprised at this Jeff character and how long he lasted. If Frank cared about the Webbers he probably would have been played by Howarth. I too am looking forward to Lucy. With the entrance she had, I wonder if they already knew what Lynn Herring was going to bring and how viewers would react. How appropriate this is being written around Lynn's 40th anniversary. I'll be curious to how much of an exit Bryan and Claudia even get when we get there. I wasn't expecting them to have even this level of storyline in 1986.
  17. Thank you again @slick jones Nice to see Shirley Knight's name on there.
  18. Thanks to @YTG for finding this. A short film starring MaryJean Feton (Another Life).
  19. Jessica Collins (Loving, Y&R) will be on Locher Room April 16th. Jessica Collins (Y&R) & Lisa Melamed on Where’s Big Dog?—A Story of Love, Loss & Healing
  20. Michael Nouri on Musical Chairs. Musical Chairs Ep. 85 (~Oct. 13, 1975)
  21. That was so sweet. Thank you for sharing. She always seems like such a warm person onscreen and clearly is offcamera too. I had to laugh at the end of that being "eat some weed gummies."
  22. Welcome back @YTG I think we all lose interest in a show from time to time. I never knew about this Tab man and his being in the missing episodes. The "where are they now" thread may enjoy this update on Mary Jean. If you don't post there I will post it. @dc11786 I forgot to say thanks for your latest summaries.
  23. I had totally forgotten this period...by this point you could already tell they had no idea what to do with Blake. At least Jerry and Maureen got to have fun. That was Selena at Company.
  24. Thanks for so many articles @jam6242 The show itself doesn't sound very interesting, but I still wish an episode or two was around so we could judge. I felt so sorry for that writer, Paul Wayne, who talked about his increasing migraines and how his pills weren't working anymore. I hope he got through...
