  1. She has a weird delivery everytime the appears. She is awful. I hate her on this show. AXE her!
  2. Since 2016. To be fair, they've hinted at all the missing DiMeras being a possibility.
  3. I also sensed some Susan in Kristen's mannerisms today, especially the way she moved her mouth/teeth. I think Haiduk just couldn't shake her off for whatever reason. She also seemed to have trouble remembering her lines today, with all her weird pauses. And in what feels like a personal affront, Kristen had on nail polish today. Sure, go for months and months with nothing, then she's kidnapped from prison and voila, nail polish. I feel personally targeted by this clear form of psychological torment. Anyway, I really liked the Sarah/Eric scenes touching on their history together, and we finally got a mention of how Xander tried to kill Eric, too. As a huge Greg Vaughan fan, it was a treat to have him in another episode after all the other returnees have presumably left. I wanted him to deck EJ so badly. However, I don't like any instance where anyone, especially Sarah, says Xander is worse than EJ. That type of hyperbole is so annoying, since EJ is the devil incarnate at this point. Roman being included at the hospital with Marlena was cute. I doubt Stefano is in the tube. I really don't think (more pleadingly hope) that they would ever recast him so I have to pray to the soap gods that something that stupid is just a red herring and not actually on the horizon. EJ was very purposely vague when he alluded to reuniting with whoever it is. I'm along for the ride so far, but I pray it's worthwhile.
  4. The DiMeras deserve to have just as much a place on the show as the Bradys and anyone other family that came after, but I do believe the show relies on them way too much, telling the same kind of merry-go-round stories time and again. Kristen, in particular, is beyond tired, and though Stacy Haiduk has her moments where she absolutely shines, like in the breakdown scene in her jail cell, the truth of the matter for me is that Kristen and Susan should have never been recast in the first place. And if Kristen must be a regular presence, the most important thing they must do is finally have her move on from Brady, who she has been obsessed with for 12-13 YEARS now! Even Stefano moved on from Marlena after a handful of years. I like Tony as the elder statesman DiMera, but they need him more involved with his peers, and Anna, too. In fact, Anna running the Bistro could be a good move.
  5. Sonny Corinthos and whether or not he should be written out of the show gets talked about a lot on here. Some people would have him out in two seconds flat. Others, like me, would build to a huge iconic exit worthy of how important the character has been to the show, rightly or wrongly, for decades, while others think outside of their own personal wants in what they feel is a more realistic approach and would keep him around in a more limited capacity. With all that said, my question is this: If Sonny had exited permanently in the past, at what point narratively do you think would have been most appropriate? Would it have been satisfying if his exit was just when he left in 1997 and never returned? If he left with Brenda the last time she returned? Or was there a particular story where you felt his exit would have been the perfect denouement to his character? Interested to see the responses
  6. No. Kate knows to stay away from Horton festivities, especially Jennifer, who still hates her to this very day. But this does prompt me to want Kate to give Cat some advice about dealing with long-standing Horton grudges.
  7. I was missing Arianna, JJ, and Jeremy today. I also felt, though it was wonderful to see Sarah amongst the Hortons, she never really had a scene talking with any of them. I like to think in the very beginning when she was seen with Jennifer that they were reminiscing about that infamous Horton rap performance! Not having Sarah at least have a scene with Mike was a huge let down for me. The ending seemed so out of place, they should have shoved it to the end of Wednesday's episode. And, as usual, Jackée was woeful. Paulina needs to go! Still, wonderful moments from Bill's children today. Lucas calling Mike his favourite brother made me seriously think if that was true. I came to the conclusion, that at this point, sure, why not? I couldn't help but notice he didn't say Jennifer was his favourite sister though? Considering their "intimate" history, and since he's been single a long time, maybe he's thinking it's Cassie lol Both the Will shooting EJ reference and the custody war over him were used so smartly yesterday and today. If I was a fan of Chandler Massey it would make me want Will back, but I'm much happier to give other Hortons a chance to shine. The flashbacks used were a great understated way to give us a shout out to Carrie, and especially felt like mini Neil Curtis tribute with the back to back flashbacks of him being the doctor that helped birth Sarah and Stephanie. Regarding those flashbacks about reading the Christmas story, Jennifer looked like she was going through a goth phase and Mike's hair rivaled that of Siegfried and Roy. I also think, if this is the last we ever see of Bill and Laura, it's wonderful that it was under the Ed Mallory and Susan Flannery iterations of the characters. Sometimes when people were speaking at the podium, the camera going back and forth seemed a little amatuer and almost made me nauseous as if I were at sea. But all in all, I really did love this 60th celebration. I hope the for best for this show, my show, for the next 60 years and beyond, all the days of our lives!
  8. Since I just watched the film:
  9. And will be on again tomorrow.
  10. Arianna gave me whiplash. She shows up in front of the Pub with Holly, then "skedaddles" for no reason, then shows back up at the Pub to meet Will/Eric/Sami, then presumably is going to the Gala, but is nowhere to be seen during most of it, then randomly appears for one scene. The other weird thing is that no one greeted Paul/Andrew when they arrived at the Gala. And in a personal affront, Emily O'Brien I guess is going to annoy me like Stacy Haiduk in not wearing any nail polish ever. I have to believe it's the actor's laziness, and beyond that, it would be out of character for both. It just looks wrong. Lastly, it was a missed opportunity that Tate wasn't shown to have any emotional moment during any of the speeches about his grandmother and John. Missing out on small things like that when they would add so much is disappointing. However, all those grievances out of the way, I thought this episode was a great watch. It felt so busy and bustling (for DAYS in budget cuts hell 2025). I'm not a big Chandler Massey fan, but one of my favourite scenes was him with EJ. The sexual tension is still there! And reminding the viewer (i.e. me!) about the similar circumstances of when he shot EJ was a smart move. Can someone remind this on/off viewer of when Belle and Sami's relationship first started to fracture? I was hoping there'd be a comment from one of them about how close they used to be. Superficially, Cat and Arianna looked snatched! But the biggest eye opener was the hairdo Kayla was sporting in that flashback. What a brave choice! And as the episode ended, these immortal words ruminated through my mind ...
  11. If anything, these rolls down Horton memory lane have only proven how fascinating and complex they are and could continue to be. They never needed the big bad DiMeras to cause problems for them because they were more than talented enough at doing that all on their own.
  12. Not knowing who that is, it prompted me to see who on the cast I still know. Just three characters, Chris, Drew, and Esther, but I also saw that they recently brought back a classic character in Libby. How's that going?
  13. I won't lie, I was really hoping Sami's engagement was going to be to Brandon. I feel very uncertain about creating a new Vitale, when I thought we were finally rid of Ava for good. With her saying they wouldn't even know each other, I hope that remains the case. Still, colour me impressed they picked up the hinted at Cat/Sami connection. I thought with Sami's last visit that it was dropped. Just for confirmation, that was EJ in the bed right? Loved seeing Lucas again. I hope he gets reunited with Mike, too. Weird Allie wasn't mentioned though. Melissa Reeves and Billy Flynn are doing great work going up against each other. I'm so happy Jennifer is able to have these sort of flaws. I'm absolutely against what she's doing, but completely understand why she would do it. If Chad moves back into the DiMera mansion, that is bound to only make matters worse. But screw Justin, it would have been great if she said Frankie was going to be her lawyer. What can I say about the Julie and Maggie scenes? I ate them up. SSH and SR have never lost it. Maggie is another I really want to see with Mike again, and to reunite with Jeremy too since she's the only one that really cared about him last time he was in town. I do also hope Sarah is included in all this Horton-ness. She is far too removed from them generally, which makes no sense to me as she's basically the main heroine these days. She also needs to reunite with Mike, and should be another that accepts Jeremy, to Stephanie's chagrin.
  14. She passed away today. https://deadline.com/2025/11/sally-kirkland-dead-anna-star-was-84-1236613785/
