Married to Medicine
I believe the list is: Heavenly, Jackie, Simone, Toya, Cone-tessa, Kari, Quad, Anila, 1 new girl. Heavenly has confirmed that Quad got her stethoscope back, but I feel they won't have 8 official wives, so who would get demoted to make room for Quad? I also am praying this is the season we get ride of Cone-tessa full time. I'm so tired of her stupid made up storyline with Scott. Then another wrinkle is that I've noticed Kari's husband is filming again, so I'm wondering if maybe she got upgraded.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
All Stars was miles better than I expected, especially with this cast. It seemed like they selected a safe bunch, but in retrospect they picked a proven bunch that they knew would deliver and who are popular enough to get people to sample the series. It's funny that on RHOA Cynthia is considered safe and boring, but she's a star here. On the other hand, Kyle is sliding into the background which proves that the Beverly Hills ladies just can't hold their own with the other franchises. I feel like if they're smart they'll keep cranking these out or try to find other Housewives content to add. This has been an exciting time for Peacock. They just need to get Miami right next. I'm still doing my Miami rewatch and I'm almost done with season 3. I didn't realize, but I have never seen season three. I don't recall anything beyond what I saw in the trailers. I hate soap weddings (I find them boring) so I think seeing the trailer centered around *two* weddings turned me off. I'm glad I gave it a go because it actually isn't that bad. I expected it to be boring since it's the season that killed the franchise, but the production values remain high, the relationships have grown deeper and there's lots of great drama and family moments. I've loved the mini trips to LA and Texas as well! It is a slightly more intimate cast, but it still works. The worst thing is the Everybody vs Lea aspect. Adriana vs Lea was a bad move on Adriana's part and two seasons of it and I still don't understand Marysol's issue with Lea. Marysol is having a TERRIBLE season. I understand Mama Elsa was sick, but she's pulling an Erika and coming off more mean and negative when this should be a great time for her to build sympathy.

Married to Medicine
@TaoboiI'm really excited for this next season! Did you hear Heavenly suggest somebody tried to fight her?! They always deliver so I'm not worried, but very curious who the full time cast will be. They have like 9 girls filming!

Peacock Announces ‘Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie
Errol, I wish you’d move this to the Discuss the Soaps or Spoiler forum so more people can see this article! Beyond that, I’m very excited for this! Clearly Beyond Salem did well and hopefully this means they’ll lean into more Days and soap content. If they want recurring subscribers they need to find a classic soap people can stream. I also love that Will is the center of this movie. The gay characters were definitely the biggest highlight of Beyond Salem so I’m hoping for more Leo and nuSonny! It’ll be devastating if Freddie Smith decides to return.

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
Honestly, the stuff with the vault doesn't surprise me. There is a twitter page devoted to it and I believe the person who runs it is who posts on twitter talking about each time they upload episodes. It was bout to get blown up now that B&B is trying to monetize it. I just hope for the Y&R stuff it can be saved, but considering they are uploading the B&B stuff, I'd try to avoid posting anything from that show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Rumors have been swirling that OC isn't good this season, but I was very impressed with that trailer. It reminds me of the older seasons of OC. There is so light drama, it looks beautiful and the cast seems to have chemistry. I'm excited by the two newbies and even Emily and Gina didn't seem to bother me. I think OC will be a nice, light watch which could lead into a powerful season 17. Especially after how heavy RHOBH was, it'll be nice to see an easy watch. BTW, some RHOBH tea from Tamara Tattles: https://tamaratattles.com/2021/11/10/exclusive-rhobh-tea-including-erika-girardis-actual-salary/ For one, Erika's salary was $68,000 per episode and she made around $1.6 million the entire season. The craziest part? That was her regular salary and had nothing to do with the Tom scandal. It's insane to me that she makes so much when she usually brings nothing to the show! The other big tidbit is that Dorit was *not* offered a contract to return as a HW. She only was brought back when she got robbed and her final role is up in the air. I'm sorry, but you can't convince me that robbery is legit. It has so many red flags.

Y&R - RIP Jerry Douglas (John Abbott)
Such sad news! He was a charming man and the perfect head for the Abbott family. He had chemistry with everybody young and old and he deserved more time on the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
They offered her Girls Trip season two and she turned it down which I hate. That would’ve been the perfect segue into season 7! Plus her saying no meant we got stuck with Eva on an otherwise perfect cast.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Candiace has the same issue as Erika Jayne, she isn't likable. She was a spoiled brat and wasn't popular with the audience before the Monique fight, so fans didn't feel sympathy for her afterwards. Some of the cast members faked sympathy to get rid of Monique, but as we saw this past season, none of them really liked Candiace, which is her problem going into next season. The cast, Bravo and Andy don't like her and would've preferred Monique. The problem is that Monique doesn't need the money so it's up to her wanting to return which is up in the air.

2021: The Directors and Writers Thread
Even Brad isn't as bad as Josh Griffith. Brad has spurts of energy to his show, Josh has none.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
It’s funny how it too so many different scandals and so many major outlets picking it up for GH to finally make a comment. These soaps are trash when it comes to issues like this. They always ignore these stories until it blows up.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
Not to be rude…but when he posts those long insightful captions, he sounds so dumb lol.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
I remember Jeremy but I don’t think I paid attention to who his parents were at the time. That’s so odd to me! Major character for 20+ years and he has an established son who I imagine is in his 30s-40s and they just don’t seem to exist. I feel like the show lacks Horton’s and that would be an easy fix. I wonder if Ron knows they exist.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
It’s been so long since he’s had a storyline that they could’ve written him off long ago and used the bloated cast/lack of story for the official reason.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
I wonder how he’s survived so long with all this bad press. His racist comments were last year and he kept his job.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
I didn’t start watching Days until the 2000s so I was wondering who this is? I haven’t heard him mentioned and I always assumed Carrie was involved with Austin only in the 90s. Is he still alive? It just seems odd to me that Jennifer is his sister and if he’s Carrie’s age (which I don’t get based on those pictures) then you’d think they’d have him come back with kids or something. Is it a case of a problematic actor so they just ignore him ala Jason Brooks?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@CatTo me, Joanna, Marta and Romain were like watching the Three Stooges, but I loved the drama they brought! I also loved Karent who I still don’t understand. Her relationship is obviously fake, but at first I felt the women were too hard on her, then she seemed to lean into troublemaking so she was hard to understand. I get why she got fired, but not Ana. She was such a good housewife! I remember initially feeling like season 3 felt too small after such a large cast for season two. You had 7 housewives, Elaine, Mama Elsa, Marta and Alexia as friends and various recurring guests. It was truly a telenovella! I’m curious if I’ll like season 3 more this time around. I agree. I understand Mary has her faults, but I feel like because she doesn’t seem to be all there, it’s easy to make her feel bad and other her. It seems intentional. The focus is always on her reaction but nobody seems to see what sets her off. It makes me so uncomfortable that they’re pushing her church as a cult when the Mormon church has such a dark history and despite Heather and Whitney’s issues with it, I feel they’d never talk about it like they’re doing Mary.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I've been rewatching Miami since Peacock doesn't know what promotion is. I wanted something to help me build anticipation for the return since we have no trailer or cast photos even though the show premieres next month. One thing I'll say is that season one is much better than I remember. Maybe it's because of the time that passed and HWs have changed so much, so I compared it more to early seasons of RHOC, RHONY, etc. It wasn't great, but at 6 episodes it was very watchable and had memorable moments. The stars were Adriana and Mama Elsa. I strongly believe they are the only reason the show was renewed. Now I'm halfway through season two and Adriana is such a top notch housewife it makes it even harder to believe she somehow ends up as a Friend for the upcoming season. She *is* Miami to me and carried every season. Also, I didn't remember how masterful the reboot was. The enhanced production values, bigger cast, the array of supporting characters. It is endlessly entertaining. I also didn't remember how integral Mama Elsa was. She had a strong presence in the premiere and she was so well connected with the group that she could have scenes with other HWs without Marysol being around. To think she's around 77 and is this involved in a Housewives show is crazy. She is one of a kind and will never be replaced! Another 10/10 housewife is Joanna. I can't understand how she never made it on Beverly Hills. Just a hot mess! I love her fights with her sister and literally one drink and she flips out. Much like Adriana she is one of the All Stars of this reboot. The ensemble works well, but those two definitely are carrying the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I hate how they gaslight Mary. Mary stated she didn't like Jennie, but would go on the trip and see how it goes. She asked Jen what she thought of Jennie and was listening to her when Whitney jumped in talking about "You need to listen to Jen!!!" After Mary let Whitney have it, everybody is comforting Whitney and acting like Mary did something wrong. Why was Whitney even getting involved in it? That was bizarre to watch. As for the arrest?! Lord that was good! I'm glad they used the last 15 minutes instead of giving us ten seconds and a "To Be Continued..." The level of detail only enhanced how insane the situation was. You can't convince me Bravo didn't know about this. The way their cameras were set up was too spot on, as was them waiting there 12 minutes after Jen left, which gave NYPD time to get there.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
@VeeIt was telling that Daytime Confidential almost immediately had to delete their story about Morina and never mentioned it again. These outlets can’t afford to report on these stories and risk being blacklisted when they need access to cast for interviews, spoilers, etc. When the Steve/Ingo need drops, this is going to likely be picked up by Fox News and could be a huge PR mess. I personally wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t say anything until their exits air.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
I don’t see why anybody is surprised the news hasn’t been posted yet. This is going to be a shitstorm when it’s announced I don’t blame them for keeping quiet. Also, Y&R’s Executive Producer was accused of sexual assault on set and the show and network hasn’t fired him or released a statement. Not reporting on major soap stories isn’t something rare.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t say anything and just let the exits air before saying anything.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
NOBODY wanted those characters back. Josh Griffith is simply a creative black hole. When it comes to Steve Burton, I wonder how the writers will handle this. Pretty much anybody else would be fairly easy to write out, but you can always count on Sonny, Carly and Jason to appear in the majority of episodes each month. I can’t imagine it would be easy for the writers to write him out of so many scripts. I wonder if they’d consider a recast?

Susan Lucci Confirms Plans to Join ‘Pine Valley’ If the In Development Project Gets the Green Light from ABC
I think a traditional reboot like what Prospect Park did would absolutely be a streaming hit. The issue with those shows was timing, not quality IMO. At the same time I also feel like Pine Valley could be a hit as a prime time reboot. ABC loves soapy prime time dramas with a mystery at the center. Throw in well known cast members like Susan Lucci, Eva Larue and Debbi Morgan (Sarah Michelle Gellar?) and a couple recognizable prime time faces and I feel the show would at least get sampled. That’s why I’m shocked they haven’t at least put it to pilot. Filming a pilot and seeing what type of cast they could put together is what I feel will sell the series. The script alone I can see being risky to them since a soap has never had a prime time continuation.

Susan Lucci Confirms Plans to Join ‘Pine Valley’ If the In Development Project Gets the Green Light from ABC
I actually don't mind that. You have limited amount of characters you can use on a primetime show and the Santos and Kane families are good ideas for a primetime show I feel. I feel like you could write a rivalry that would make sense.
