Yeppers, Nate came face to face with The Slasher at the end of today's eppy!

And did my ears deceive me? In the previews for next week, Dusty was chewing out Lucy for being with Damian? What nerve! Sure, I think it's a dumb move on Lucy's part too, but Dusty has no right telling Lucy what to do! What a jerk.

I thought today's show was just OK. The best was the Murder at the end of the show, and also the Damian and Luke scenes(though my heart was breaking for Luke, because I just know that Damian is faking everything, and you can tell that Luke loves Damian very much) Mike and Katie just need to get out of Oakdale, I have never seen anything so boring. It after watching today's show during the Katie Simon scenes it is very obvious to be that Katie still loves Simon. The Dusty and Holden scenes were nice, but I was let with the thought of since when are they freinds or even talk to each other for that matter. The only good part of the Murder storyline today was the Murder, everything thing else in that storyline was kind of boring to me. As for LUCY, I can't stand her, she can't act for [!@#$%^&*], I almost had to turn the channel when she was talking to Jenn's grave, and after today I have also come to the idea that This LUCY and Dusty have zero chemistry, atleast with Payton there was some chemistry, though I did not like her either.

I'm surprised they had a memorial. No one liked Lia but of course people will act like they did and act like they are SO torn up about her death when no one really is ... that much anyways. I think it's just because there is a killer out there attacking people, to them, anyone could be next. I'm not suprised Maddie didn't tell Casey. Another day/week to drag it out. We knew this would happen because they (forget who) said they were going to take their time with this story.

So know Dusty is worried about Lucy and into what happens to her? Didn't he just say he didn't want anything to do with her? Lucy is a big girl. She knows what's going on.

Katie and Mike are really boring me. I'm glad Simon is back and is going to stir things up! I like Katie with Simon better than Mike and her together.

I think Damian is faking it 100%! All he is doing is minipulating(sp?) him. When Luke finds out ... I just hope it's before Damian has him sent away.

It's a shame Matie has gotten to be so boring lately. I used to really like them, and both Terri and Mark are terrific actors - why aren't TPTB giving them good SLs?

And I must agree that nuLucy has NO chemistry with Grayson, not so far anyway. IMO, Spencer Grammer had more chemistry with Van Hansis - I could at least tolerate Lucy and Luke's scenes together!!

The murder mystery is intriguing, but Maddie needs to spill the beans about her assault to SOMEONE, whether it be Margo, Gwen, Casey, whomever! That part of the SL is getting old!

About a week ago she did. Margo, Dallas, Henry, and Eve were with her. I think she might have been lieing about some parts though. Like I don't think her rape happend at a frat party. I think it was her own room in her flashbacks.

When I saw Katie hounding Carly about Simon, demanding what he said about her (always about her, I might add), all I kept thinking about was that Carly Simon song (no pun intended)...You're So Vain..this is what I wrote on another board....

Oops, sorry that didn't come out right. What I meant was that she needs to actually TALK about what happened, either with someone she's close to or a therapist. Not just admit it happened, but really talk about her feelings in order to (hopefully) help her get past this trauma. But I guess if she did that, there'd be no question that she was NOT the slasher!

If The Slasher does turn out to be Jade, I'll be disappointed, because as soon as it's revealed, she'll just go to jail, never to be heard from again. So I became invested in a character that TPTB decided to make into a serial killer before her backstory can even be introduced!

I agree, Maddie definitely needs to start therapy and/or seriously talking about her assault to someone. She's just continuing to ignore/suppress it as she has been since she got to Oakdale, but she can't function anymore like that.

As for Lia having a memorial, it didn't surprise me because it felt like a very 'Heathers' high-school kind of thing. You know, the popular girl that everyone hated so now a group has to get together and cry crocodile tears over her as part of the peer pressure. I liked that Casey, Gwen and Will all felt squeamish about being there, but of course Jade was mixing it up in the middle, because she's the queen of faking and that's all this way, a moment they could all be fake and pretend to mourn someone they either disliked or feared.

During Damian's scenes, all I kept saying to myself was, "Oh, man, you are a magnificent lying b*****d. God, you're good at that. When did you get so good at that?" I hate what's he doing to Luke and why, but you know, this show needed a little of that; someone who's just so manipulative (and not in a charming way), it hits you right in the gut.

Katie got on my nerves today. I liked watching Henry and Eve today. I hope Eve stays in town awhile. As for the killings, another useless teen that we didn't know much about is dead.

I don't find her amusing, cute, spunky or fun. I HATE HER.

It's obvious Damian is faking to convince Luke to go to Malta with him. I'm hoping some backwriting is done to redeem him and hopefully he'll stay around after this story is over. I'm all for Damian and Emily hooking up.

While the serial killer stuff is cheesy at best, it's moving quickly and mindless fun. It's not dragging out for months and months (Paul/Emily/Meg I'm looking at YOU.)
