B&B: Monday

Another day without the honeymooners or much of Ridge. :) Hopefully we can have some more love triangle free days.

I liked the memories of Darla at the end. I really feel sorry for Sally more than Thorne. Darla was really Sally's partner in crime, and basically another daughter. Sally already lost Macy and Saul, now maybe Darla. Things don't bode well for Clarke, lol. Anyway, I don't see how Taylor is going to get out of this one. She kept dancing around the issue of whether she was drinking or not but then finally admitted that she had had some wine.

I really liked hte flashback scenes between Sally and Darla...I didn't start watching the B&B until sometime in the mid 90s.

I figured Hector would help cover for Taylor...It won't do much good considering that the longer the Forresters believe that there is some other person out there that hit Darla, the more they will rage against Taylor when they learn the truth.

I enjoyed the flashbacks, too. Darla sure has had some wacky hairstyles over the years. It's hard to believe that Schae Harrison has been on the show for 17 years.

Hector is getting on my freakin' nerves.

I wonder when Thorne is going to learn the truth about Taylor being the driver that hit Darla?

From the commercial I saw during Y&R, it looks like he may find out this week, from the way he was yelling at Taylor.

I just want to see how Stephanie and Sally are going to take the news that it was Taylor that hit her.

I was really glad that we didn't have to see Nick and Brooke slurping each other between the sheets....

I really liked how they did the montage of Sally and Darla...although I haven't seen a great amount of the Sally/Darla saga, it was really nice to see how Darla has changed over the years.

Aww, the montage was sweet. Is my head hearing things or was that Bobbie Eakes singing to the montage? Sounded exactly like her (I love her voice).

Indeed, that was Miss Bobbie Eakes with "Smile". We heard this song many times before and as always it was a pleasure to hear Bobbie's singing voice. Come home MACY!!!

I haven't seen Darla's final hours yet and am kinda hesitant to watch this of an era. Sniff!

I was wondering why Macy wasn't really in the Sally montage. It was pretty much all Sally, Saul, and Darla. But Macy was around for many of those years.

I think Bradley resents that the rejected Bobbie Eakes went and found more success on AMC (a direct competitor in my market)

Maybe Bell has to pay Bobbie if he shows her in a montage?? Anyhow, I'm sad that Darla has to go, and I agree that Bell needs to realize that this show desperately needs the humor that Darla, Sally, and Clarke brought. Don't like the new Donna, hopefully she won't be around too long. Also waiting for Taylor to take responsibility for her actions, but it's looking like she's going to grow closer to Thorne, who will eventually forgive her, convince everyone else to forgive her, so she can come out smelling like a rose and reclaim her sainthood.

Macy was seen very briefly in the montage. The scene were Darla was celebrating and got a crown - I've never seen this footage before but it seemed like a birthday party 1992ish or 1993ish.

The flashback were mostly about Sally & Darla - probably to stress their relationship and therefore little emtnion of Macy.

But the total lack of CJ was sad. I guess he won't come home for Darla's funeral either? A shame! :(

I forgot all about CJ. Aren't Mick Cain and Schae Harrison married? I know they had a baby together. So there doesn't really seem like any there is any reason not to include him, unless he just didn't want to do it.
