DAYS: Thursday, July 13

Did anyone watch today's show? I did but don't remember much besides Shawn being completely opposite what a normal man would be like with his mother and father. And Bonnie telling her kids how proud she is of them hitting the Horton jackpot. Sorry days for Days.

Did you see the ratings? Isn't this sick? The Bo and Hope story is disgusting and made even more so by Shawn's attitude. The IVF storyline is ludricous and so poorly written that any appeal it could have had disappeared long ago.

I do believe the black glove mysery could be huge for Days, but with those two stories being bad apples and with Bo and Hope fans livid and John and Marlena still off and it being summer, Days is being tried.

Sami has a something good coming up. I can just feel it. Hopefully folks will start turning back in.

My opinions.

I watched up until the theme song and decided I wasn't going to subject myself to an hour of that.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Sadly, the happenings revolving around Chelsea were the only good thing today. I mean I love her, but that says a lot about the show.

The big problem with these storylines (and the Sami/Austin/Carrie/Lucas quad) is that everyone is being written as so unlikeable and/or clueless that there's just no one to root for.

It's hard to care when there's no one to get behind.

You know, I just can't hate Chelsea. It surprises me, but I kind of like her. At least when she's being funny/!@#$%^&*]y and not genuinely evil (a la the email rewrites).

Days has just been so BLAH, lately. There really isn't any excitiment going on.

At 1 o'clock, I am now watching a show called Trash to Treasure on the style network.

When it is a tough show for me to watch, you know something is wrong.

The Chelsea stuff was the only good part. Melvin and Brooks were good in their last scenes today. I don't mind them as a couple but I don't like him and Stephanie. Great seeing Benson alot though.

The Mimi/Bonnie stuff could not even be saved by Judi Evans-it was nothing but filler and biding time until tomarrow. I hate when Days has days like today where nothing ever seems to move.

Shawn needs to be slapped up the side of the head and I was hoping Caroline would do that. Thank heavens for Caroline because she saved me from falling asleep. The Hope stuff was again filler but I do think Days gave several outs for someone to switch the blood test results or for the test to be wrong.

Worse show of the week for me outside of Monday. Monday was bad but at least people I liked were on. Today had very little movement and nothing but filler. They may as well have told people not to watch today and just tune in tomarrow when actual stuff happens. What a waste-at least tomarrow looks better.

I'm assuming we can still blame JER for this crap right now? JER's idea for great stories: I'll have a bunch of weddings that no one wants to happen, and have a bunch of women get pregnant that no one wants them to have, and I'll have family date each other! In between, everyone will sit around and say the same things over and over! I can't wait for the new writers to take over. I'm just hoping that this stuff right now is still JER's.

Today's show REALLY stunk up the airwaves! Stephanie just found out her father is alive, and she is hanging out with Max, SwampFetus, and Abby (who are apparently STRANGERS to her). And then she's kissing Max and spying on him kising SwampFetus. THIS is the child of S&K?!?!?

Please, Hogan, we need you! We're begging you -- HELP!!!!

Today's show was quite dull. After a half hour of watching, it felt like I had been sitting there for an hour, so I just gave up. On a better note, tomorrow's episode is suppose to be good. I think we'll be seeing more of Carrie and Lucas, and I for one am looking forward to their storyline. I want to know what exactly is wrong with Carrie, whether she never was pregnant, had a miscarriage, is ill or whatnot.

I think it can be a good storyline, too HOWEVER, if it follows the path of what we've seen recently, it will simply be her beating herself up and wailing and whining that it's punishment for her selfish actions.....now that would kill it for me.

Is he just the biggest wussiest mama's boy? And totally clueless. I really can't stand him.

What I liked about today's episode:

-Caroline doing a little chewing out of Shawn (tho not nearly enough).

-Dr. Bader--I love her and the actress who plays here; it's good to see her coming back after a while.

-The stressed out, worried nurse--she was actually a good actor, something that is normally not the case with nurses.

-The hand!!

-The teen scene, with Abby/Steph/Max/Chelsea, which was very watchable.

-Bonnie.

What I didn't like:

-Shawn the ass-hat.

-Shayna Rose's mannerisms--she needs to tone down her style.

-All the babies and potential babies.

I've never hated Shawn more than I have today.

I do not like Stephanie. It bears repeating.
