Sheffer says Meg Kelly is his "co-head" as in Co-head writer??? Or maybe he just means associate head writer. Anyway, it looks like we have our first FOH (Friend of Hogan) in Meg Kelly to join the staff. We've already seen a Friend of Beth in Hannah Shearer. I wonder who else is coming and who will be leaving.

I wish Hogan said "my co-head, Carolyn Culliton."

I wouldn't be surprised to see Melissa Salmons show up on DAYS.I don't know if she is a FOH (she did work for him though) but she is a good script writer and she is availiable.

I was a few episodes of with Beth Milstein's first credited epsiode, so I could be a couple of episodes off with Sheffer's. But it should definitely be around the 6th or 9th of October.

I'm surprised Hogan didn't bring Courtney Simon Sherman, since it's a rumour he really liked her. She was his editor, and I belive she still is under Passanante.

Probably, she's bound to ATWT by a contract, and she should really have a huge motive to relocate to CA.

P. S. Meg Kelly,and Hogan Sheffer (and Jean Passanante) share the agency - The Sarnoff Company. There's your connection.

The only soap left that requires writers to work at the studio is "GL" and that's only the breakdown writers.

Courtney Simon could work for "DOOL" and still live in New York, many "DOOL" writers do it, including Peter Brash.

James E. Reilly wrote both "DOOL" and "Passions" from his Long Island home.

I think the writers Hogan will bring with him are "not attached" - i.e. Meg Kelly who was let go from "ATWT" over a year ago.

Courtney Simon is very loyal to "ATWT."

Let's hope Lynn Martin, whom Hogan loved and was a victim of P&G budget cuts, will not be coming with him.

Yeah, Courtney Sherman Simon is very loyal to P&G going all the way back to when she played Kathy on SFT for many years. She also still recurs (from time to time) as the psychiatrist (name esacapes me at the moment) on ATWT as she's done for eons.

Do you think he might bring writers like Hal Corley with him, too?
