I don't think this will help the show. In the interviews I've read with the execs at the CW, they know how loved and how popular Everwood is. One interview (I think it was posted on SON somewhere, actually) even had the person blatanly saying he knew Everwood had higher ratings that Veronica Mars and OTH, and it was such a tough decision choosing two of the three.

So, it's not like the network doesn't know how popular the show is....
