Members King
ABC and HBO will sweep the nods, I am sure. Is Sopranos even eligible? What is the time period of eligibility? And when are they announced?

Members Bree
I'm sure the Emmy panel will give Will & Grace its sympathy nominations, since they're off the air now. I think it will be a repeat of last year's nominations.

Members SteveFrame
I don't seem to watch enough of the first run to make too many predictions. I have just lost interest in so many of the primetime shows and at night tend to watch movies or reruns of Law & Order. I would like to see the following be recognized: Julian McMahon for Nip/Tuck Denis Leary for Rescue Me Charlie Sheen for Two and Half Men Holland Taylor for Two and Half Men Terry O'Quinn for Lost Whoopi Goldberg for Law & Order: SVU Mariska Hagerty for Law & Order: SVU the actress who plays Julia on Nip/Tuck (thought she was good this season) Reba McEntire for Reba Hugh Laurie for House Forrest Whitaker for The Shield Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer Michael Chiklis for The Shield I love all the FX shows. Members Sean
LOL, I don't really watch that much TV. This is mainly based on buzz in the media and on awards sites like Gold Derby. So many of my favorites are left off. *cries* DRAMA SERIES: 24 Grey's Anatomy Lost The Sopranos The West Wing Runner-up: Six Feet Under DRAMA ACTOR: Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy) James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) Hugh Laurie (House) James Spader (Boston Legal) Kiefer Sutherland (24) Runner-up: Either Michael C. Hall or Peter Krause from Six Feet Under; I think Dempsey is the weakest link - he could get in on buzz. DRAMA ACTRESS: Patricia Arquette (Medium) Francis Conroy (Six Feet Under) Edie Falco (The Sopranos) Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) Alison Janey (The West Wing) Runner-up: Patricia Arquette just cannot act that well, IMO. Geena Davis (Commander-in-Chief) should go in before her, but now that the show is cancelled I don't know if her chances are as good as they normally should have been. DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTOR: Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Lost) Alan Alda (The West Wing) Terry O'Quinn (Lost) William Shatner (Boston Legal) John Spencer (The West Wing) Runner-up: Naveen Andrews (Lost); TR Knight (Grey's Anatomy); Dominic Chianese (The Sopranos) DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) Candice Bergen (Boston Legal) Blythe Danner (Huff) Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy) CCH Pounder (The Shield) Runner-up: Yunjin Kim (Lost) [if there were any justice she'd be nominated - one of the best actresses out there period] COMEDY SERIES: Arrested Development Desperate Housewives The Office Scrubs Will & Grace Runner-ups: My Name is Earl; Curb Your Enthusiasm; Everybody Hates Chris COMEDY ACTOR: Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) Zach Braff (Scrubs) Steve Carrell (The Office) Jason Lee (My Name is Earl) Tony Shaloub (Monk) Runner-up: Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) COMEDY ACTRESS: Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle) Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) Mary Louise Parker (Weeds) Runner-up: Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) and Julia Louise-Dryfeus (New Adventures of Old Christine) This is really a tough field. Cross, Huffman, and Longoria all IMO belong to be nominated, but Longoria probably won't be nominated. Hatcher not so much. This category really depends on just how much of a change the new voting system causes. COMEDY SUPPORTING ACTOR: Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) Neal Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) Jeremy Piven (Entourage) Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) Runner-up: Rawr. Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Tony Hale, and David Cross from Arrested Development all deserve a shot here. I can already taste the sad. COMEDY SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Kelly Bishop (Gilmore Girls) Megan Mullaly (Will & Grace) Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds) Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men) Jessica Walter (Arrested Development) Runner-up: So...many...deserving...actresses... I won't make predictions for the guest categories. I've never really paid attention to them, and usually the ones who are most deserving don't even get a nomination. Members Adam
Just as long as Marcia Cross (Bree, Desperate Housewives) is nominated and wins that's all I want Friggin DH being pimped a comedy though I have doubts whether Marcia would win.... she would totally take the dramaic category though. She though deserves it regardless! Oh am I the only one who hopes Teri Hatcher is NOT nominated? She is the least deserving of the entire 4..... I am so completely sick of Susan. Members Britney
There's some interesting scoop from the nom screening panels on GoldDerby. The poster was on the panel that screened Two and a Half Men, Weeds, Scrubs, The Office, and Will & Grace. Scrubs and The Office underperformed, everyone loved Weeds, Two and a Half Men had a surprisingly positive reaction, and there were groans when they announced they would be screening Will & Grace. Most people gave Will & Grace a "C" grade (the lowest, meaning fair).
Members Chris
The Dramas (8 of the 10) are: Big Love Boston Legal Grey's Anatomy House Lost Rescue Me The Sopranos The West Wing The other 2 are probably Six Feet Under and 24, but The Shield or Rome could possibly get in.
