I wish Dani and Janelle got along too. I really don't understand why Dani alligns with James, Will and Boogie but not Janie. She's definitely in their league. Argh.

I LOVED Janelle's nomination speech. It was great. I cannot wait to see Erika's face when she gets evicted and Chilltown betrays her. She really think she's with them when they only have loyalty to themselves. It's hilarious.

Umm..didn't you see Danielle's reaction to winning HOH? LOL

I really hope Erika leaves because I love this Dani vs Janelle war. It's back and forth and I love that! The only person who I hope doesn't win Veto is Erika because I think Dani will have the votes to stay in the house.

I want the final six to be: Will/Mike vs Janelle/Howie vs James/Dani. That would rock!!

I thought being a poor sport was when one acts pissed and whines when they lose, like Marcie does. S6 doesn't do that, they act happy and elated when they WIN. Love it, I don't like hypocrisy and it's a show. I also like to see emotions.

To me this year is deja vue. It's the same everybody is againts S6 from the start, even if they tried to makes alliances with some like Dani and Marcie. So no, S6 is not the new NH IMO. And I hated the NH not b/c they ran the house and dominated more, but b/c Ivette was a vile racist !@#$%^&*] and Maggie was stuck up and hypocritical.

Can't believe Woogie made everybody tur on each other and targets instead of them. If they win they deserve it at this point.

This week when they acted the way they did, it was very poor sportsmanship. This was an HOH redo - not because of anything that the other houseguests did. It was BB's fault. And BB didn't have to redo the HOH comp. When Howie and Janie acted the way they did after the redo, it was very poor sportsmanship. And then to nominate Erika made it even worse. Erika should not have been punished. As far as she knew she won HOH fair and square. It was not her fault that BB messed up. I for one would find it very funny if the person who has the Coup uses it and Janelle leaves on Thursday. It would be Karma coming back to bite her in the butt.

And Toups I did see the way Danielle acted. Although it was out of line in some ways, I accepted it just as I accepted Janelle saying Bye Bye Bitches last year. The Floaters needed a win for their side. S6 had been dominating the HOH's - just like the NH had last year. What Janie did was justified last year. And the way Danielle acted was justified. Dannie knew if she didn't win, she was a goner. So no I had no problem with the way Danielle acted.

And other weeks when Howie especially has reacted to the HOH win, I found it a little much, but didn't get too mad. This week I did. It was very inappropriate to act that way this week. And yes it did put Janelle and Howie right up there with the way Ivette and Maggie acted last year. It was no better.

I don't think celebrating when you win HOH is poor sportsmanship.

What the hell are they supposed to do?

I didn't think it was poor sportsmanship when Danielle did it. I hated when she won, but I couldn't say she was a bad sport.

I thought of a few ways we can try and get the Discussion Thread a little more happening...........

1. What do you think the Prom King and Queen will win on Thursday? Last Thursday, the King and Queen Winners would have an advantage in the HOH competition.

2. Who do you WANT to win them?

3. Who is your dream final four? And two?

4. Who is your more realistic final four? and two?

5. Who do you want to win the coup?

6. Who do you want taken out by the coup?

There just doing it to get some drama in the house. Anyone knows Janelle will win. Too bad she can't compete in this HoH. Howie most likely won't win. Will will be the King.

Will and Danielle/Erika

Dream Final 4: Erika, Danielle, Will & James

Dream Final 2: Erika & Danielle

Realistic Final 4: Erika, Danielle, Boogie & Will

Realistic Final 2: Erika & Boogie

Erika or Will

Janelle or Howie

Double HOH? Janelle is the obvious favorite for Queen, IMO. As for King, I'd like it if James or George would win it (just the lesser of the evils), but I think Will has it.

Danielle and George/James

4- Erika, Howie, George, Danielle

2- George and Danielle

4- Janelle, Will, Boogie, Howie :(

2- Will and Howie :(

Danielle or George (lol, don't think George will though)

Janelle or Will

I had no problem with Ivette an Maggie acting cocky if they won, and will say that Howie is even worse and I still don't mind, to me it's funny. I only had a problem with the NH b/c they took the game to a personal level(with racism and personal attacks, and so much trash talk behind their backs), like I stated before. Kaysar said the same thing on HC, that last year was personal and this year was not, it's about the game and I can see that, as it SHOULD be. Even Woogie are not mean anymore and I can see that most of them like each other. I have no problems with people screaming when they win, but to each his own.

1. Not sure, but the big thing should be an advantage in the HOH which we already know is going to happen.

2. Erika or Danielle for queen and James or Will for King

3. Erika, Danielle, Will, and Howie - final 2 doesn't matter as long as Will is one of them (can't believe I am saying that because I have always hated him)

4. Will, Boogie, Janelle, and Howie; Will and Boogie for final 2

5. anyone but Janelle

6. Janelle

    • I don’t think it was intentional. Because if it was, I imagine it would’ve been mentioned in one of those ‘Welcome to the Neighborhood’ specials that aired.
    • I mean, soaps are a world were 5'2" Eva Longoria can be a runway model...
    • I wonder if Michelle Val Jean even considered this. It seems so obvious to many of us.  If they want the Dupree name to continue, Anita and Vernon need at least one male heir.  Two would be even better.  Do you think Val Jean may have written it this way intentionally for some reason?
    • Agreed Anita and Vernon definitely needed a son or two.  The Duprees are the core family, yet the name practically doesn’t even exist anymore.  Some slot machines would be nice

    • I would have it come out that Dani was pregnant with Naomi while her career was still on the rise, and the idea of a Dupree having a baby out of wedlock would be scandalous, and Bill, who was starting out in his career, received pressure from Vernon/Anita to do the "honorable thing" and marry her and in exchange Vernon promised to help his new son-in-law out with his legal career.

    • Dani as a model never sat right with me, especially when some of the cringe dialogue was saying she was a rival to Naomi Campbell. Not trying to be mean or disparaging against her, but in no world would Dani/Karla Mosley's looks have ever have been accepted in the real world and ultra competitive high fashion modeling industry - certainly not 15-20 years ago. I get this is fiction, but come on...
    • Thanks @Paul Raven really appreciate this.  Did Parker Stevenson leave Somerset for OLTL, or was he written out by the show? The Ellen and Dale story seemed to get a positive response, at least in some quarters. Maybe that was too much for P&G. I didn't know about any stories Ellen had after the relationship ended so I'm glad to know a little more now. Seems like almost every woman on the show had to have some tie or desire for Julian. I assume this is not written in chronological order, but I notice we got from many typical melodramatic soap stories to all crime stories.  All this focus on Carrie, Vicky, Heather, etc. reminds me of how much the show seemed to cycle through heroines compared to how they settled on Julian. Who was the long running woman who got focus? Ginger?   I didn't realize this final headwriter was an unknown. I wonder if Henry Slesar may have recommended him? Or knew of the real him? Somerset had already had a long run for a soap spinoff, but I wonder if the show would have been renewed if Lemay and Rauch hadn't agreed to try their own soap...or if NBC/P&G were just done.
