There is simply no other on daytime like Victoria Rowell. You give her one word, and she'll still the ENTIRE scene. She makes her character UNIQUE, with faults and all.

I worship at the altar of the GREAT VR!

Dru is as fierce as fierce comes. I rank her among the very best in all of daytime (THE most underrated) and Michelle Stafford is her only rival on Y&R. They know their characters so well and never have a bad day.

I am sick to death that she quit the show. She was my shining star of daytime television. I hate that we lost an actress (Davetta Sherwood) that FINALLY had me liking the character of Lily and now Victoria Rowell is leaving too. I'm back to hating Lily and now I cant even say, "Well, at least I still have Dru." <_<

Love her. Never really thought about it, just knew that I'd sit up and take notice and remove my finger off the FF button whenever she graced my screen. Now that she's going, I realize how much I relied on her to fully complete my Y&R-watching experience. I'm no fangurl who will drop a soap just because one person leaves -- I love ensemble casts above everything else -- but with this goddess, I am seriously wondering: how Y&R is going to be without her. Lifeless? Grey? Bland? Empty? All of the above.

And, aside from Ji Min & Ashley, I always wondered -- Dru & Jack? LOL, think about how royally PISSED Phyllis would have been.

Okay Victoria Rowell is amazing. And Drucilla always has the funniest lines and scenes. Two of my favorites...

DRU (to Neil): Everytime I turn around it's Yolanda-this or Yolanda-that. She's gettin' on my last nerve! (looks behind her) Oh, Yolanda!

DRU (to Carmen): We need to talk.

CARMEN: Is this about project veta (or something like that)?

DRU: No, this is about project stay away from my husband.

    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
    • None of the males are taking their shirts off every week, so we know they have some degree of acting skill.
    • Here's what happened on the sophomore slaughterer, rookie breakout, new hotness, and three soaps that week. The Cosby Show - Off to the Races (May 8): Cliff is determined to settle a score with a former track rival. The Golden Girls - The Way We Met (season 1 finale, May 10): Dorothy, Rose, and Blanche reminisce about how they all came to live together. Miami Vice - Sons and Lovers (season 2 finale, May 9): Angelyne warns former lover Tubbs of a bounty put on his head by the son of dead drug-kingpin Calderone. Dallas - Hello...Goodbye...Hello (May 9): An enemy stalks J.R.. Aunt Lil testifies for Ray at the adoption hearing. Sue Ellen tells John Ross that she and J.R. are reconciling. Falcon Crest - Consumed (May 9): Jeff imprisons Maggie. Angela pursues elopers Dwayne and Emma. Chase traps Terry into revealing Richard's link with Miss Jones. Knots Landing - Thicker than Water (May 8): Karen and Abby feud over Lotus Point. Greg and Abby urge Peter to enter politics. Ben packs for Cathy's tour. Mack meets his daughter.
    • What can I say?  I did my best.
    • Thank you for sharing. I guess Nancy was catatonic most of her time on the show, so I guess the gasps make sense, lol. I had heard Cathy and Dick DeCoit were supposed to be on the show longer, but Trish Stewart leaving changed all that.
    • @Rmodelboy Thanks for posting that On-set pic of June. She looks great, you just might be right about her being Hayley sibling.
