Lucas either has terrible fashion sense or he's wearing a bulletproof vest. I expect he'll be fine, and Lucas/Laura/Sonny will have more leverage over Sidwell now.

I really liked today's episode, but I think the show is very weirdly paced, because it's seemed like we've been treading water for weeks, and now all of a sudden on a Tuesday, we get an episode full of exciting plot developments and cliffhangers.

I find this happens with the show a lot. We’ll have like two action packed weeks full of cliffhangers and then just be given dreck and no movement the following two weeks. It sucks because when GH is on, they very much outdo all the other soaps in drama and excitement, but man when they’re boring it’s BORING.

It’s ridiculous. Even if I buy the conceit he isn’t acting to protect himself, Jason, and Laura from the dead professor being blamed on them (the cover up certainly should be), show that to us! We ha

had an opportunity to tie the body coverup to Jason’s disappearance. To tell a story within the larger plot about Laura’s history of witnessing/experiencing trauma and disassociating. A story within the story about Sonny actually losing power and maybe even reflecting on knowing when to give it up, or is the power so important he is running the risk of becoming Frank Smith, Rivera, Joe Scully, etc. As in the old men he took power from on his way up that didn’t know it was their time to go and all got killed. But that would involve telling a story, with enough meat on it to cover several people in major ways. Sidwell doesn’t even turn the screws on Laura himself! He sends Ezra to do it.

I love this idea. But this show and naunces outside of what the actor brings...smh.

Gio's such a sweetheart 😊😊😊

Curtis and Isaiah are both petty bitches, but I do like they continue to be at odds. The storyline itself is a good idea, but it really needs better day to day writing.

But Sidwell's gotta go. I'm beyond tired of him and every aspect of his character. And I really hate the way he says murder. "Murrrrrrrrrder"

The cliffhanger was really good though,

As for Obrect and Cassius, like I often say about Days, I probably would've liked those scenes a lot more if they had involved any characters other than these.

In a way, I don't blame 'em. I've felt for a long time that the mob element needs to be phased out. But, how do you do that without writing out Sonny? He made it clear to Brenda a long time ago that there was no way he could give up that much power, not even for her. So, what's the alternative? Frankly, I'm stumped, lol.

It's tough, but they actually had a chance during the Nixon Falls era. Not to write out the entire mob, but to phase Sonny out of it.

Anyhow, I suspect Lucas was wearing a bulletproof vest too. Sidwell is really an idiot though. First the photos in the safe with no backup and now going to what appears to be an active construction site next door to Kristina's LGBTQ center and shoots a man in the chest several times in broad daylight HIMSELF.

The show is lucky to have Brook Kerr - she knows how to play all the big soap dramatics in a way many in the story don't, but she also somehow keeps a ludicrous situation grounded.

I always thought she was the best actress on Passions tbh especially with the crap they threw at her. I’ve been enjoying her on GH when Portia isn’t lying 😂

Someone on the writing staff HAAAATES Curtis. The way they have him and Jordan not only doubling down but tripling down on an accident they caused themselves, I just can’t imagine having to act out being this stupid.

It's so unbelievable and embarrassing. I wonder what DT thinks about this mess.

Brook Kerr will always turn that crap to gold when it comes to Portia and the writing.

Like I’m sure he’s happy for the steady paycheck but this story would piss me off as an actor to play. Like literally Curtis and Jordan initially accepted it was their own fault and then somehow it turned into the other driver’s fault?
