My Faison family problem is the same one I had with the Dimera’s on DAYS. I have no problem with giving a larger than life villain more grounded material. But they built up an entire family around him, paired Sami with EJ, and the whole show started to be written around them as protagonists and not antagonists. Nobody in Salem should ever have been comfortable with Stefano walking around, and I feel the same way about Faison and Obrect.

You know I hate crossovers, but it seems ill conceived even if you liked them. A GH villain, an AMC character, and a Loving character? I seems like a big ask for the audience of three soaps.

Was Angela Shapiro in charge when Faison/AH crossed over to LOVING? If so, then it probably was part of Shapiro's scheme to turn all the ABCD soaps into one "super-soap" ("synergy," as she called it). Plus, the network still wasn't ready to give up on LOVING, so they were trying everything to bolster the ratings (although, I think they would've been better off asking Ricky Martin to crossover instead, lol).

I think it was pre-Angela Shapiro. At least Ricky Martin would make sense. I don't think it would grab viewers but L&B booking a tour around towns for Miguel to perform in is a bit more organic. I think Faison is probably a bigger draw. I don't know by how much though lol. If you added some cameos with Lois, Brenda, Sonny, etc it would make the whole crossover idea a bit more hip and probably less expensive than the Universal Studios thing.

Obrecht is best used in moments like the scenes a few days ago where she saw through Willow's lies about Drew's condition and told Nina to wake up.

One of the things I hate about Britt’s storyline is that it makes far more sense for Obrect to be finishing Faison’s science fair project. She was already part of several of them. I admit to dropping out a lot during Ron’s last year and most of Altman/Passanante. Was Britt revealed to be some kind of special scientist then? I would have had Obrect reluctantly working on it and biding her time while they kept Britt alive, and have faux Nathan end up a surprise to them too.

No, it wouldn't, lol!

The only crossover that might have saved LOVING (for awhile) would've been to have none other than Erica Kane herself decide to pull up stakes and relocate her business, Enchantment, to Corinth. And I'm not even sure about that, lol!
