Karamo Brown, Jennifer Hudson, The Jennifer Hudson Show

The Thursday, March 26 episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” will feature talk show host and former “Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown (“Karamo”) reflecting on his journey—from breaking barriers in reality TV to celebrating his second Emmy win.

According to a synopsis released by the show, Karamo gets candid about the women who shaped him, from his single mother to icons like Beyoncé, and shares why uplifting others is central to his purpose. He’ll also get candid about fatherhood, sharing the emotional moment he discovered he had a 9-year-old son he never knew about—and how stepping into that role sparked unexpected healing. From pursuing full custody to later adopting his son’s brother, he shares the joy and growth that came with building his family. He also opens up about his new podcast centered on fatherhood.

With the episode taped in January, don’t expect to hear from Karamo about his daytime show’s cancellation, following NBCUniversal’s decision earlier this month to pull out of the first-run syndication business. Instead, he’ll address the final season of Queer Eye, and why he felt ready to walk away from the show, the importance of protecting his peace, and setting boundaries. Plus, he reveals his celebrity crush is Common!
