It does seem like Jason ran out of time and couldn't complete the hit? Poor planning for an experienced hitman like himself. If he didn't spend half the day in the last episode flashing back to things that recently happened, he made have had more time.

Decent cliffhanger. At least there appears to be some movement in the story.

I’m unclear why the writers have Charlotte and her dad act like they’re in love but it’s so weird but I guess you could tie into Helena’s weird obsession with Nikolas? Like maybe? I dunno but it grosses me out.

The show could go with that angle and portray the Cassadines as creepily obsessed with their relatives like in the 90's where they were much more Gothic.

There is also the not quite forgotten Rocco angle where he assumed Dante/Lulu didn't love him because Britt stole Lulu's embryos. Charlotte may think Valentin is the only parent that truly wanted her, but she has never expressed that.

Unfortunately I believe Frank and Co. think it's sweet. They have a special bond. It weirds me out too, but anything about Charlotte creeps me out because of her conception origins.

Well, honestly, I am surprised Frank and co haven't had Lucas and Marco watching Heated Rivalry or Brad make a "quippy" joke about this new hockey show he's been watching. It's more relevant than the Golden Girl jokes.
