I wasn't aware of Tia Carrere when she was on GH. Either I wasn't watching those years, or I was watching irregularly, and didn't pay attention to actor names back then. I watched live, so I haven't seen that stuff in 40 years. The only thing I remember from the Asian quarter storyline is that Robin was kidnapped and of course the famous Robin/Anna reunion scene.

I know Carrere from Wayne's World and from her series Relic Hunter. In Relic Hunter, she was a Canadian archeologist professor who adventured all over the world looking for relics, very much like Indiana Jones or Lara Croft. Her Relic Hunter character was kick-ass in the way that 1980s Anna Devane was, or Xena.

So I see from this wiki (link) that Tia's character Jade eventually became a nurse? And Selina Wu is her sister?

I'd love to see Jade on GH working with Anna Devane to mentor younger female characters in becoming strong women. I don't think GH would do that, but that's what I'd enjoy.

Yeah, it's strange how Lulu is perceived now when she was the Josslyn golden girl of her era. When you had JJ at your disposable and wasted him, I have no idea what good Ethan would do to be honest. Get paired with Kristina finally? Lol.

Even though I am open to a good Lucky recast at this point, why bother? Frank doesn’t care about Liz enough to make the writers use her, or keeps them from using her. Either way, having him back under these parameters sucks.

It seems like the show might be heading towards Dante and Liz. And honestly, I don't know where they would go with Lucky/Liz at this point. They really closed the door on it in this last return. Not to say it could never happen, but I think it would take an entire regime change.

Speaking of Ethan returning, should his return be tied to one of the upcoming storylines of Robert Scorpio? Especially since his mother is Holly and I think it's a good return with lots of layers but it's up to the writers to make it successful.

About Lucky recast (yes, I am spelling it correctly this time), open to Jacob Young or someone different? If it was up to me, I'd go with Greg Vaughn.

I think it's still doable, but last time was such a joke it would take real initiative this regime has never shown re: Lucky or Liz.

I have zero interest in Dante and Liz. Two nice people FV does not care about, being nice together. A waste of both their talent and another convenient C/D-pairing like Dante and Sam.

I really have no interest in Dante/Liz either and I agree it's another version of Dante/Sam. At the same time I am open to it especially if Lulu can be involved as well.

I think they were both miscast to be honest. Lucky shouldn’t have gone the traditional soap hunk route. Somebody who was more quirky would have been better.

And I don't have any interest in Dante/Liz either.

I think there is a place for nice, minimal conflicts couples on a show like GH. Dante and Liz separately have so much more to offer. It's going to be a cheap way to keep them both occupied until something better comes along-or they stay in a years long relationship like Dante/Sam and nothing ever happens.
