LMAOOOO! Nice. If you do need to find the uninterrupted episode let one of us know.

Anyway, I am so not cutting the cord.

After reading the comments, I can't wait to the episodes.

Nothing wrong with that. It's very much why I don't mind still buying DVDs and CDs. Cuz at any moment, people/companies can (and have) just make streaming content vanish with nowhere to find it.

Crazy how much more charming and well, human Alex Alegria is in these interview clips than literally any time he is onscreen as Tomas.

Well we've seen many actors whose offscreen persona is vastly different from onscreen performances.

Somewhere along the line that interpretation of the Tomas has been accepted by TPTB.

Maybe on paper he's supposed to be a stoic, calm character but to play it with so little emotion is not the way to go IMO.

The breast cancer story has been well done, with all the actors stepping up to the occasion. Vernon and Anita in particular have been amazing. It brings back memories of Monica's breast cancer story on GH back in 1995.

Dani was wrong for telling Bill about Anita before she told their daughters, but that's par for the course with Dani and her need to stay connected to Bill. Writing wise I think the writers wanted to divide how the grandchildren found out so it wasn't so predictable and to avoid repetitive dialogue.

While Kat and Eva can still have a rivalry this would be a perfect opportunity for them to have a frenemy moment where Eva convinced Kat to get tested.

Love the frenemy idea. As for Dani's choice, I had no problem with it but I'm happy it's creating discussion.

I guess we'll have to wait and see from episode 202 if they've removed him from the opening credits.

Naomi's pic is a vast improvement from her previous one.

Ashley, on the other hand, looked better in the original picture.

Where can one watch the complete interview?

Random thoughts on the last few episodes:

  • I've loved hem.

  • Is it me or ever since Guza left and Thomson joined, the Duprees have become less obnoxious and less holier than thou? There's been almost no 'We are the Duprees' proclaim.

  • One minor, insignificant nitpicking - I dislike how sometimes people talk about cancer in terms of a 'battle', something to 'beat', as if the patient's strength or lack thereof had anything to do with it.

  • I've loved loved loved Kat's reaction. So human and sweet. Also very helpful to those viewers who are not willing to get tested. Colby has been rocking those scenes. I didn't care for her before, but now I'm a fan.

  • Please enough with characters relying on alcohol! It's so stale and repetitive.

Starting on Monday, Jan. 5 (airing at 3 PM EST),
BTG will air on E! in Canada.
This fresh start will come after a short hiatus (CTV Drama wasn't airing new episodes over the holiday season).
The episodes that CTV Drama did not air during the holidays should soon be on Crave (and available for next-day streaming).

As an actress on Beyond the Gates, I’ve had the honor of being part of something truly meaningful. Our show is bringing awareness to a powerful cancer storyline that hits close to home for so many families.

Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it impacts entire families, communities, and support systems. Through our characters, we’re showing the reality of this journey: the fear, the strength, the vulnerability, and the hope. We’re honored to use our platform to shed light on the importance of early detection, screenings, and supporting those fighting this battle.
This storyline isn’t just entertainment—it’s about raising awareness and potentially saving lives. If our story encourages even one person to get screened, have that difficult conversation, or support a loved one going through treatment, we’ve done our job. That’s the real power of storytelling. 💛
Thank you for allowing us to bring these important stories into your homes. Let’s continue the conversation and support one another.

OH...I didn't realize that I still had the last few episodes of Season 1 because of how Hulu has it set up on my system. Well, I guess I get to get my rewatch in after all. hehe.

With the missed Canadian holiday episodes to be uploaded to Crave, I wonder if viewers from US can see Crave with a VPN?

I read that post two ways. Either Crave is going to pick up where CTV left off beginning this Monday or Crave will broadcast on schedule with the US and the episodes that were not aired will be availbe on the Crave streaming platform. I assume it is the former since the Crave streaming platform has all the episodes up until 194.

I hope BTG can find a stable home in Canada, but I can't imagine it will be easy especially if it is not being aired alongside another established soap.

Now that I'm thinking about it...heading into the new year. The Main Duprees finally have main stories going on.

Vernon/Anita...Anita's Career

Dani...her triangle with Bill/Andre...not to mention dealing with Kristen Dimera...I mean...HayYoValley.

NIcole...a growing triangle with Carlton/Kial.

I was wondering that earlier today as well.

I do hope that they are able to find a stable home there as well.

Happy...my TiVO was smart enough to record from WCBS's sister station WLNY, so I got to see the whole 200th episode with no inauguration interruption and boy, y'all did not lie.

That was quite the emotional ride. I'm expecting Lead nomination for both Davis and Tunie.

Bill's talk to Anita had me tearing up.

And of course, Haley had me chuckling. So damn selfish.

They need to get serious about strong love stories or triangles in the new year.

As it stands, we're saddled with Tomas for Kat atm (though I don't think that will last), and Eva/Izaiah often feels like older people trying to write for sexy youths but being unsure of how far to go with it. Yeah, I think they got it on over the holidays but it still feels a bit afterschool special. The show has not had a problem with being quite explicit or raw with other couples, but here they seem gunshy - maybe because they want to sand down Eva's edges. There needs to be more depth to the writing there and more complications added with them, namely Kat in the mix, or maybe Naomi mixing in with Izaiah and wrecking everything. (Nothing else is likely to make Naomi interesting)

Joey and Vanessa are evil, kinky and for my money still compelling to watch as performers, but they also have an expiration date because Joey is the devil. That's a duo you watch for crashout drama, story machinations and skullduggery, not as a legit love story. What's more, Leslie entering Joey and Marcel's sphere is far more interesting for everyone involved than his officially being down bad for Vanessa (though I'm glad he is, it makes them a bit more equal).

Everyone else worth mentioning is happy coupled and solid - Vernon/Anita, Martin/Smitty, Chelsea/Madison and the terminally boring Hawthornes. The only big new game in town is Dani and Andre and the perpetual thread with Bill, but that's not enough. Greg Vaughan is on recurring and while that doesn't preclude him from being a very regular player (look at Jon Lindstrom as Joey, Ernestine Morrison as Shanice, etc.) it's time to start seeing Kial Rollins weekly and get that moving with Nicole. Ted and Shanice I am agnostic on because Ted can be such a fool, but they do have real chemistry.

And then there's the youth. Make Donnell and Deanna regular fixtures, add some people and go.
