It is rather disappointing that the big bad is apparently this WSB dayplayer who also seems to be impersonating Faison with Anna. If they couldn't have come up with a big bad that has a history with the show, they could at least have tried to cast a stronger actor, someone much more dynamic, creepy and weird, like Faison during his original run.

He's dreadful. But a lot of the elements of this story are random and tedious. If they're hoping for Evil Nathan to shore up the menace Ryan Paevey will need to have had a Brando-esque turnaround as an actor in the last 7 years.

There's no way the WSB guy is the "big bad." I think it's obvious who the "big bad" is and that person was on today's episode. There was also a big clue is yesterday's episode.

I enjoyed the snow storm because we got some good scenes with Tracy/Martin, Cody/Molly, Trina/Portia, but I especially liked the Lulu/Nathan scenes. I though they were cute with the drinking game, and then the kiss, and then talking about their feelings for each other. I'm all for this forbidden romance which should climax with Maxie walking in on them together.

Okay so Alexis and Valentin are first cousins, and Sam and Charlotte are second cousins. That makes Danny and Charlotte "second-cousins-once-removed".

Alexis and Valentin are first cousins. Doesn’t that make Alexis and Charlotte second cousins, Sam and Charlotte third cousins and Danny and Charlotte fourth cousins?

I understand how it works. Danny & Charlotte are 4th cousins or 3rd cousins once removed. Not 2nd cousins once removed.

If that's where Danny and Charlotte stand, I'm perfectly ok with a relationship.

Willow going around town being the concerned wife for Drew is so delicious. I know I want it to come out but I’m also really enjoying watching her playing in everyone’s face.

Is Nina really considered promiscuous? The last person she had sex with was Drew almost 2 years ago.

IKR!!! Playing some catch up and I'm loving how much Willow is playing in everyone's face. YES, PLEASE.

I would think anyone, but Nina is promiscuous.

It really is. I mean I can't think of anyone on the show I would truly consider promiscuous as a female. I think we can all agree there are men on the show (named Sonny) that are but even he's had a real dry spell.

hahaha

I think the show wants Carly to have an adversary and Britt seems to be everywhere now.

I've been saying that for ages as well. But propping Britt doesn't make it any less funny

Well, since I know the snowstorm was this week (and prime viewing I'm sure for binging), I wanted to get my thoughts about last week out. Cuz...we know I enjoyed the bubbles and the fight...lol.

I'm extremely happy that Willow stabbing Drew was not a dream. It was not a fantasy. It was stone cold (pun unintended) REAL!!! I'm so excited with this story turn. And Willow is acting her a$$ off. It is giving old school schemer and I'm loving it. Katelyn Mc is going from strength to strength at the same time. It's THE story turn I'm looking forward to seeing next. Especially since they said when Drew does wake up, he won't be moving for a while. So are we about to get some Misery or the wish of several of us to see Chase cheat with Willow with Drew seeing and not being able to do anything because he can't move??? @Antoyne and @titan1978 thoughts cuz it sounds like your odds are good on getting your wish. ;)

I admit that I was annoyed that my happiness at seeing a Laura/Lulu scene was dashed when I realized it was just a plot point for the Dalton body storyline. Moreso since Laura had a great scene right before with Liz. I loved seeing them bond over empty nesters.

Joss without a storyline? I think NOT! lol. Which is how I felt about the scene of her with Brennan (whom exit storyline continues to tick tock now that new random WSB Guy has arrived) making her into a sleeper agent now. Which should mean no storyline until they climax the story in May, but I suspect that is not what will happen. I also continue to think REWRITE at the new random WSB Guy cuz as has been mentioned...it's clear that the bad guy at the Five Poppies is 'Nathan.' In league with Sidwell apparently. And as has also been mentioned...the Dante/'Nathan' scene of the handling of the evidence was such a tell. So the writers need to go ahead and pull that trigger.

Yeeeah, those Britt vs Carly scenes were so transparent. I would like to think Jason can see through that. After weeks of Britt wanting her life back, she gets it, AND VANISHES??? Something in the buttermilk ain't clean. But it is the typical 'character has to make up a lie in order for people not to come after them.' I did flinch when she mentioned Bobbie. And I would have loved Carly slapping the taste out of her mouth.

at seeing Peter August back. Not even being warned on this thread (and online) did it the (in)justice. While Wes will always been GL's Sam, the gay from LATTER DAYS, and Wyatt from CHARMED to me, I am over this character. I am happy that the Anna story is kinda moving with its beats. And yay for Emma getting a clue. And I love Gio being there for her.

Now for the MAIN EVENT HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Chase, Chase, Chase. His downfall is going to be delicious. I loved (and rewatched) every minute of Chase vs Michael. And while the fight was too brief, it was still great as Michael wiped the floor with him. That was a long time coming...as is another round of Dante vs Chase. But that might be coming as I see the writers finally have looped back around to BLQ and Chase's adoption. Good at BLQ clocking that it's a way for Chase to keep busy after he just got demoted for HIS actions. Keep the cracks in that relationship coming a little more consistently please.

It's hard to believe that this was all the same week as Willow's verdict. Another example of how good the writers have gotten at shifting and not losing the momentum of their show.

Well, I do like the setup for the start to the snowstorm.

Just because it stands out and also irks me...WHERE'S LUCY??? I was happy to see Ava and Sidwell. But the more I saw them while characters sat/stood around talking about them just made Lucy's absence in their storyline very annoying. Block filming strikes again!!

Even though I know why, it was really telling during Jason/Sonny discussion on Britt that Jason was good to go and taking it to Sidwell while Sonny is just twiddling his thumbs. I would think ANYONE blackmailing Sonny...whether alone or not...would be swiftly dealt with. Just look at Wagger. I was happy to see also that Jason DID after all see through what Britt was doing. So he knows she's in trouble.

Hahaha at Tracy sending Gio/Emma out to get those heirlooms. Only Tracy in a snowstorm would do that. That said....good scene.

I admit that I did like Brick showing up and being relevant for two episodes. It's funny. The dance they had going on for years between him and Jordan and now that Jordan is with the very man that caused the dancing in the first place...well...I expected a little bit of shade. Still...it was nice to see all of them because it does feel like them (mostly Portia) has kinda vanished since their leg of the Willow Trial arc ended.

Meanwhile, I hollered at Joss going to Brick to figured out a way to cut the power on Wyndermere. I really hollered when she accomplished it. I do give her credit for at least figuring out that the new lab HAS to be there and telling Brennan though. And he needed to get his mind turning.

Speaking of Wyndermere, Ava/Lucas/Marco/Britt/Sidwell were giving a comedy of errors.

As a fan of that villain...yes, the cliffhanger for this episode was highly effective.

Trina read Portia down omg. And they even brought up Taggart. Portia needed to hear absolutely all of that.

I just watched it. And it will probably get a rewatch. LOVE the Taggart mentions.

It’s a ridiculously shippable week. But there’s some good Emma/Gio and the Trina/Portia scenes were good.

That's one thing I have noticed as I watch this week. Outside of those (and this lovely Cody opener), this week is reminded me of my post I made at the beginning of the month/end of year about that episode where it was clear the writers wrote an episode about who will be getting a romance/romance focus this year. Outside of Gio/Emma and Jason/Britt on my list...I was not here for ANY of it. It was like they were trying to aim romance stories at the most unwanted, chemistry-less couples on their canvas.

It must be like pulling hair, teeth and everything else just to come up even with one scene for La Femme Josskita that's semi-interesting.

Now why is Le Femme Nikita in this? lol.

This apparently just leads into more Martin/Tracy, which will annoy me as long as he continues to have the upper hand.

They are officially on mute. I love Tracy, but ENOUGH.

I know it's cliche, but I like the idea of the whole town being stuck in a snowstorm. The characters they are choosing to focus on? Not so much. I am not as bored as everyone else seems to be, but the Joss story is taking me out. The dread of Valentin/Carly is also a miss for me.

Same.
