AHHH!!! The preemption episode on now showed Violet!! And Finn and Gregory!!

You must have had a heart palpation.

I would say I miss Gregory but I think that's mostly because of his exit story.

Gregory isn't that bad. He never was. The whole character always seemed like wasted time. He never really did anything-except die lol.

Is this a full pre-emption? I've been seeing clips on X from today's episode. I'd like to watch it on Hulu this evening.

Separately, I'm convinced Drew knows Willow shot him. Yeah, he's screaming about Michael, who he knows didn't do it. If Drew didn't know who shot him, he'd be discreetly pushing the Feds to find out who actually did do it since they'd still be out there.

Full pre-emption. The episode rerun on the West Coast is saying you can see the next episode of GH tomorrow for me. Maybe Canada ran it?

IA!

If Willow really did stab Drew, then Drew is well on his way to becoming the Peter Campbell of Port Charles. (IYKYK)

The biggest strike against Gregory is he hung out with Violet. Since he's obligated because she's family I don't blame him that much. He had to like her. I guess I do blame him for fathering losers Finn and Chase though.

I wish Gregory/Tracy got a chance. I don't think the pairing would have set the world on fire, but they were okay together and I wanted Tracy to have a nice guy for once.

Same here, lol!

It feels like the show spent ages setting up Alexis/Gregory for it to go nowhere and Tracy's prickly personality worked so much better with him than it did with Alexis. The character was probably too far gone by the time Jane returned though. And I suppose that would just be another loss for Tracy and she's had too many.

See, that's why I think you never should give a character on a soap a terminal disease (such as ALS) unless you are confident that that character wouldn't have much of a life on your show if they were healthy. Number one, watching and waiting for someone to die does not make for compelling viewing; number two, once they die, there's little incentive for new(-ish) viewers to keep watching; and number three, you ruin any potential, new storylines for that character before they have the chance to take off, which is exactly what GH did to Gregory/Tracy.

I'll be honest: I've loved NLG since SaBa, and nothing - not even her damn X account - will change that. But I'm at a point where I'm stumped over what to do with her or Alexis.

Maybe it's because Alexis, IMO, has been damaged by years of horrendous story decisions, including being saddled with too many kids (and all daughters at that), a drinking problem and a romance with deVry's very fey Julian; or maybe it's because there are times when NLG's day-to-day performances betray an actress who herself has been betrayed by said bad decisions and is now disinterested in the subpar material, exhausted from the grind of having to make it all palatable with no help from above, or both. I don't know - but I know this: it doesn't matter who you pair Alexis with anymore, because, short of a frigging miracle, no one is gonna work.

I miss the days when soaps weren't preempted or interrupted for every stupid little thing. This makes me really thankful that Days is on Peacock.

Don't forget to check your DVRs 👍

It aired on city TV.

Ever since Drew and Willow starting hooking up, they've been the best thing in soaps. They've provided so much story, and brought in so many characters into their story. And it's been a long term story too (their first kiss was 4th of July 2024). I love watching this dark version of Willow.

Since the Tuesday's episode aired in Canada, I'll put in spoiler tag if Monday's cliffhanger was real or not:

it was not a dream

Also, I think there was some foreshadowing when:

Michael asks Chase, "how long before Willow ends up on your bed?" just before they get into a fight.

A woman.

I agree Alexis has been seriously damaged by a lot of embarrassing shít. Julian included lol. But I think she's had an upswing of late which is decent. Would I put her in an A-tier romance at this point? No. Can she still move heavy drama (like right now) and get a decent new partner? Sure.

As for Gregory: I thought the final weeks with the wistful, melancholy material Mulcahey did with the wedding, his death, Finn discovering him, etc. had some lovely stuff. But I never particularly liked the guy before that. Every time I tuned in for like 3 years he was standing around looking like George Washington and shaming Tracy or Alexis, and had little other personality. If he'd had some maybe I'd have felt different. I do credit PM and Harrison, Jane, even Easton, etc. for some solid material in that final stretch.

At the risk of sounding like I'm criticizing you - which I'm not! - I would see that as sort of a cop-out: "We can't come up with any more suitable male partners for Alexis, so let's just have her turn lesbo!"

I mean, I felt the same way about GL's Olivia. Crystal Chappell might've had decent chemistry with Jessica Leccia (Natalia), but to me, "Otalia" just smacked of an EP and HW who couldn't come up with anything else for those two characters.

I saw this at work and hollered. I'm sorry for your pain seeing her.

Yeah, I saw the notes and was so irked after teasing you yesterday.

I must say, I do love Hove's voice.

Another reason why I don't mind him back in any form. That voice.
